Ure Hometown Bakery & Sandwich Shop

Very average place. Not very many items on menu and things I could have made at home. The small brownie and pastry selection is pretty good, but still I could have made better at home. I’ve tried this place 3 times and wasn’t really impressed any of the times.

«Ure» Hometown Bakery & Sandwich Shop took over the cozy corner space, which was formerly occupied by Cake & Coffee On Mars for a short time and Sandy Hill Pizzeria before that.
This café, which opened this summer, offers a decent selection of fresh bakery goods, coffee, plus breakfast sandwiches, deli sandwiches, deli salads, soup, and cold bottled beverages. They also specialize in wedding cakes and special occasion cakes.
I stopped in here for a break recently and got a Red Velvet Cupcake to go for a snack. The texture of the cupcake was very moist and spongy and tasted just right and not too sweet. The white cream cheese frosting on top was very sweet to balance out the cupcake, which was enjoyable and what I needed with my travel coffee.
Hopefully, when I’m passing through Hudson Falls again, this little bakery will be open & doing well and I can stop here again for a sandwich and sweet dessert.
