I’ve always loved Big Lot stores. They have lots of quality name brand stuff at really affordable prices. And with the expansion of the Super Walmart and the closure of little Walmart in Greenport, I find myself going there more.
And I love discounts, but I loathe customer loyalty programs, store cards, etc. Well, we went today, and the counter person asked us if we had an email address, because they have a customer loyalty program where you just give them your name, email address and zip code… no annoying mailers, no phone number requested, no form to fill out… just email. And they’ll let me know of upcoming promotions, etc. That’s a loyalty program I can get behind. They have a 20% friends and family promotion on February 21st. And if you shop their 10x and spend $ 20 or more each time, you will get a coupon for 20% your next purchase. Very impressed.
