Clean and modern. Very quiet even though it was full. Friendly staff and standard continental breakfast. Good value

I was expecting to stay only one night. But considering the excellent experience I had is stayed three nights.
First this is a fairly new place and it looks great. I booked a double queen room on the third floor. It happened to be right across from the elevator. I expected noise all night. I was pleasantly surprised as I heard nothing.
The beds were incredibly comfortable and they provided four pillows each. Everything was pretty new and quite well maintained. The bathroom was large and every day was cleaned spotless as far as I could tell.
The morning breakfast was pretty standard hotel fare. The hot food was hot and cold was cold. Nothing bad but nothing special.
Did not use pool or fitness room. Front desk staff was very pleasant and friendly. If you are in need of comfort as your priority when staying in Hudson, this is an excellent choice. With discount I payed 107 each night and was well worth it to me.
Only a couple small things. Desk chair in the room was cheap and I almost fell backwards when I sat on it. Also, parking is a major issue. There are limited spaces and many people parked in places that may block some larger vehicles, like Uhaul trucks, from maneuvering. Also there is no parking for such trucks so beware if you are staying while moving.

The entrance and lobby to this hotel are clean and new and have a very warm welcoming feeling. That is where my experienced ended unfortunately. We are currently trying to obtain lodging for an upcoming wedding a year and a half away so we went in to discuss. The front desk lady took charge and from my assumption she has been there and in charge for awhile. She basically told us to take our business elsewhere without hearing even how many rooms we would want or when. We found this to be a very curt and rude response. I said I live in Hudson and cannot imagine these hotels are that busy and full all the time. She described this as mostly a business travelers hotel. I guess I will never know much beyond that one experience because I don’t intend to recommend or go there after this. I do think she quoted the rooms around 139 a night too which seems a bit much considering the area. I have stayed at four star and five star brands for much less via priceline or rewards cards.

Seems like a new hotel — rooms are really nice and clean — pool are has no hot tub! Only negative. Staff was great — complimentary breakfast was fine — would stay here again for sure if we are near this area. Addition of Hot Tub would have given this review a 5^th star!

This hotel is very new and extremely clean! The rooms are beautiful, the gym and pool are great. We stayed here four separate weeks in 2012 and every time was enjoyable.
