Denny’s

Love the cups hanging up for all thier regular patrons. The outside of the building was amazing. Fast friendly staff. Great food. We will be back when were up here again.

We have been here a couple of times with decent service in the past and during non peak hours. We came here at lunch time well after the 11:00 AM time for afternoon menu to be ready and their service was mediocre at best. The soup of the day is supposed to be ready for ordering by 11:00 AM, we sat down at 11:30 AM ordered by 11:45, to our dismay the soup was not available. Then our son ordered a kids burger with no cheese. When he got it, it had cheese and when the waitress called back to the cook to recook the order she loudly proclaimed that it was not her fault for the mess up. I would not in good conscience recommend this location to anyone of my friends.

So imagine getting up late on a Saturday and feeling like eating some pancakes — -but they cannot be found anywhere!!!
We made a stop to shop in Roseville and thought perhaps the new location of the Original Pancake place would fit the bill only to find out they were closing at 3 – and going on into St Paul and checking out a few other places that are known for breakfast and discovering this is common practice to close at 3 o clock in the afternoon on a Saturday when you are a mom and pop breakfast joint. I just wanted a good old fashioned dinner and so we went back to Hudson and strolled on into Denny’s. They did not disappoint — I got myself the good old grand slam and chowed those dang pancakes and several cups of coffee. Our server was prompt and friendly and some old folks were in there having an afternoon date. I also forget that Denny’s looks like it has some dang decent pies perhaps i will go over there again for coffee and pie when I get the urge!

The food was good and the service was mediocre. To top it off when I asked for a box the waitress stated they didn’t have any boxes. She offered us tin foil to wrap our own food. This isn’t what I expected from this establishment.

This is Denny’s so I can’t give it a 5 star but it is a solid 4 in my book. The service here is pretty quick and the food is well Denny’s food except for the double cheeseburger. The double cheeseburger is amazing. I would easily say it is the best burger you can get in Hudson, it is that good. The fries? Not so much but that was an amazing burger. It is not the pre shaped burger you get at (insert restaurant name) but is shaped there. It is seasoned just right and there is a lot of cheese, oozing cheese. The burger comes sitting on a bed of lettuce, tomato and onion. No ketchup, mustard or mayo come on it but you can add it of course. The burger almost looks too good to eat but that of course would be a waste. I am not a fan of much else at Denny’s but this burger makes it worth my while. Fortunately the family is content with all you can eat pancakes.. .

Had the French Toast with bananas. Very good.

Fluffy pancakes, good service, can’t ask for much more. Exactly what we were looking for.

Great food and menu. Clean restaurant. Great waitstaff. Never had a bad experience here.

For a Denny’s; this location was pretty good. Service, food, speed and the fact of being open on the 4^th.
Not top of the line food, but we didn’t expect it to be.
Service was great. Our server was so sweet and friendly.
I ordered the meat lovers omelette. Plenty of meat (bacon, sausage etc) but not an obnoxious amount of meat. It came with hashbrowns and choice of toast.
J ordered the fish tacos. Suprisingly they were pretty good. The tortilla chips that came with them were really good.
The place was packed to the gills, but they still managed to get the food out pretty quick, get us seated quickly and paid attention to our needs.

For breakfast while on the road, Denny’s works. This location did not disappoint. I kept it very simple: Coffee and Oatmeal. The coffee was hot as was the oatmeal. The service was fast and easy. We were in and out very easily. Just watch out for the icy parking lot during the winter!
