The experience is both scary send eerie. The darkness is intense, and the creatures, young and old, are frightening! Highly recommend!

If you are looking to kill some time go check this place out. Its a good trek through the woods an fun for the whole family plus you can never go wrong with helping people in need. All proceeds go to charity an bring a can good to get 2 bucks off ticket price. I gave them 4 stars cause I am a person that loves a good scare and honestly I got a good jump or two, and I enjoyed the fact it helps others in need. So with that said let me say this now if your out there to act cool an impress your girl like I’m not scared I’m tuff an forgot how to have fun stay the hell home an save others from you ruining it by trying to act cool. Cause you acting like a immature child is very annoying. You wanna get scared then be 18 or older an go to the soap factory in Minneapolis

Not great… yet. This is the first year for the Dreadwood Haunt. This is a Halloween entertainment experience designed to scare and creep attendees. It is seriously lacking in the organization and scare department, but I would guess that it will get better with more years of experience. If you go, be prepared for a two hour(minimum) wait in line and a twenty-five minute trek through the forest where a few people wearing masks will jump out and you’ll walk through a few decorated shanties(it is a paintball course the rest of the time). I do not know how they plan to tame the wait time, but they need more attention to the theatrics and staging. Also, going through with a group of FIFTEEN is way, way to many… especially if some in the group are, shall we say, annoying. This place has serious potential. As you drive in you anticipate something really great as the road is very long and winding through pitch black forest in the middle of nowhere. The path is also dark and winding and the potential for serious scares and wow factor seems really high. Hope they can turn it around in the coming years.
