Fiesta Loca

Fast service. Good food. We read a review that the refried beans were the best around… we were skeptical… but it was true! The beans seemed lighter and creamier than the average Mexican fare. I’m guessing they just put them through a blender, but whatever they were good. You have to try them and see if you agree. This was our first visit, we will stop again the next time we are in town.

Wait staff was very welcoming upon arrival. The food was delicious. Full bar was also very nice. Definitely will return as it was only a short trip across the river.

My husband and I were nearby and craving some Mexican food so we decided yo give it a try. Hubby had the #12, I had the chimichanga with picadillo, so so good! I might go out of my way to eat here! Service was very good, the location is a bit weird, but others around us seemed happy, we enjoyed it, so hey. it works.

The food here is excellent. They are quick and everything is delicious. They are always busy but there is rarely a wait. Everything tastes french and the staff is friendly and attentive!

I’ve been here 4 times. First two visits were good but I think the service and quality has been declining. At the last visit our food took a very long time to come out, we were wondering if they forgot our order or had to go to the store to get ingredients. Our server wasn’t coming around to say what the delay was or offer refills. There were only a few other guests so it was strange. The food finally arrived and it was okay. The server did not bring sour cream with one of the meals until the 3^rd request and by then we were pretty much done eating anyhow. There were big fat fruit flies buzzing around which is very unappetizing. Maybe the last visit was a fluke. We will probably give it one more try before writing if off for good.

Giving this place 5 stars! We stopped after hiking Willow River State Park. Wasn’t busy when we got there. Beautiful day on the patio. Great service and excellent food!!! hubby and I got the ground beef chimichanga. Mine with cheese sauce and his with enchilada sauce. 2 for one house Margaritas. I loved the Strawberry one on the Rocks. Was really refreshing to find a little gem in Hudson, Wi.

It took the waitress 10 minutes to fill my iced tea, the queso blanco tasted like onions, and my refried beans tasted very sour. Overall, the food was okay. I enjoyed my fajita burrito, but that was about it.

Bizarre location and entryway, but worth it. I’ll start this by saying I’m visiting from San Diego. The «sexy» margaritas are great. The food was as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.

Hands down our favorite family Mexican restaurant in and around the cities.

Really good quality Mexican food, they have the BEST refried beans. I get something different EVERYTIME I eat here and it’s alwAys delish! My husband LOVES their fajitas and can’t bring himself to try anything new because they are so good!
The portions are HUGE for the modest prices, and they really have great service.
This is always our choice for Mexican fare in Hudson.

Was looking forward to trying for the first time. Website says it opens at 11am. The family and I were waiting at the door at 11. Ten minutes go by and door still locked and no one inside at all. Open sign was lit. Waited and decided if they are this lackadaisical about opening that the food would likely reflect. Either way we left and went to another establishment.
Update. Went back to give another try. It’s a nice little place. The food in my opinion was just average. Found the queso dip to be pretty thin and runny. Wasn’t terrible, but nothing that I would go back for.

The food is amazing. The service is amazing. The margaritas are amazing. The amount of food and the quality of food for the price is also amazing!

Lunch menu that starts with $ 6 options that include fajita burritos and chimichangas? Sold sold sold. The promotions for happy hour read $ 2 domestics, $ 3 margaritas and $ 2.75 Mexican beers. What?! This place is so legit it’s a shame it’s on the north side of 94 and doesn’t have more TVs. Either way it’s great, the burrito I got was awesome and I was able to make mine a combo of chicken and steak for no extra charge holla.

Wonderful first visit, prompted by good Unilocal reviews. I had seafood enchiladas, which were superb. My wife had a beef enchilada bean tostada combo, but had a bad cold so she wasn’t sure whether it was good (she said it had a nice texture). I tasted some of the beef enchilada and it was good. Will come back again next time we’re in Hudson.

My husband and I were driving across country and ran into this restaurant. Living in Miami and now in Seattle I have to say it was a surprise to find food as good as this in WI. The food was great and service was very good. I wish there was food as good as this in Seattle. too bad we are so far from it.

Flautas
I just stopped in for lunch looking for some Taqueria style tacos, perhaps some, tongue, head, el pastor, whatever… their menu was more like a chi chis menu with multiple entrees served with rice and beans and of course they had chimichangas. So while they do have tacos, I decided to go with one of their lunch plates. Option O. two flautas. I had one with a corn tortilla and one with a flour tortilla, one filled with shredded beef, the other pork. There were a few more filling options as well. My plate came with rice, beans, chopped tomato and lettuce, sour cream and the most amazing guacamole I have ever had. The service was quick and very polite. It was the perfect lunch. I took one star away only because I was hoping for some tongue taco and the menu caters more towards people who probably don’t eat tongue. I will definitely be back again!

Best Mexican North of the Boarder Great Staff of a family run place Food comes out fast and Good, Great Drinks Too!

My wife and I have been going to Fiesta Loca since they opened. Our initial impression was that the service was slow however after giving them a few additional tries, the service has improved tremendously. The quality of the food is very good and the menu is relatively extensive for this type of restaurant. The portions are big, especially for the price. My favorite item on the menu is their fried ice cream which they do extremely well. I would highly recommend Fiesta Loca for anyone in Hudson that is looking for a decent Mexican food fix. On a side note, it is kind of weird that you have to go through the entrance for Bruegger Bagels to get in to Fiesta Loca.

Best Mexican food around! Super fast and polite service! Great prices! Very cute décor. Truly a hidden gem!
