Kingdom Buffet

The décor doesn’t bother me one bit. The service varies but also doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is how drastically the food has changed. I used to go there about once a week for years. In the past year I’ve been going about once a month and now will never go there again. The food has been declining for about the past 6 months. This weekend I know we ate food that had cooked/​heated, then frozen, then reheated and put out for people to eat. The LoMein, fried rice, and several chicken dishes — all leftovers. I started eating a Calfornia Roll from the sushi bar and then quickly stopped eating it after I could tell it was well beyond it’s prime. Glad we didn’t get sick. Won’t take a second chance.

Terrible service. Super rude, and apparently not happy to have you there as a customer. Food is not very good. What is up with the fried rice? I had to take a double take on the color. Bright orange? Didn’t even have to try the sushi to know it was unfresh and gross. Came here for some hangover food and it actually made me feel more queezy than before. Really kicking myself for not coughing up more $ for decent food at Shangai bistro. This place wasn’t even worth the $ 2.50 I spent to get a take-​out pound of the buffet food. Never going back.

I eat here once a month and have done so for almost 5 years. I have never had a bad dining expereince. I have only eaten lunch. Genuine bargain, food has always been warm with a large selection. What service do you want at an all-​you can eat buffet? The Chinese-​American waitress takes you to your table and asks you what you want to drink. English is not their primary language so don’t expect to engage in chit chat. They take your empty plate and you go back for more. They refill your drink remembering what you had earlier ordered. The buffet is kept full. I have absolutely no problem with this place. It’s not a Michelin 3 star restaurant, but its not supposed to be.

Wow… I really hate giving only one star to restaurants but in this case I’m kinda wishing there was a 0 star option. Usually, even when the food or experience is bad at a restaurant I still have a sense that someone is at least TRYING to make good food. I didn’t have that feeling at all here.
A client in Hudson recommended this place so I didn’t get to do my usual Unilocal scouting before visiting. I wish I would have because, as I learned, the client is NOT always right.
The staff seemed less than thrilled to see us. The tables were only marginally cleaned. But the big problem was the food — it was surprisingly bad. I mean it almost seemed like someone was TRYING to make things taste and look bad. Luckily, there wasn’t a lot of food on the buffet so weren’t a lot of dishes to complain about.
I seriously can’t understand how this place is open.

i’m Not happy even giving 1 Star for this place, Buffet food at it’s worst, Cold Over cooked most likely reheated from the day before the one and onl;y thing was the owner Sweeping the entire time i was there even under the table i was sitting at while i was trying to eat, This is a Place for People that Don’t care about taste or Quality my recomendation is to go across the parking lot then cross the street to Shanghai Bistro you will be Much Happier

Not many buffets in Hudson, or I’d go somewhere else when I just want buffet. The décor is awful. Come on, change those tilted tables and crummy booths. Some real fried rice would be good. Very tired of the same ol same ol here. Make some changes. The peanut butter chicken is the best item they have for me.

I had a terrible dining experience! The people eating there are such pigs (one guy was eating while walking, another family was running around the restaurant like animals, cutting in front of me) and the guy who served me gave me the wrong plate of food! I honestly felt nauseous as soon as I left the restaurant. The sushi is not fresh at all and is really fishy. Never eating here again; a huge waste of money!

If there were a way to rate this with 0 stars, I would. We eat out a lot, and this is certainly one of the worst meals we’ve ever had. We tried the beef w/​broccoli, the chicken chow mein, two types of sushi roles, a pu pu platter, and more. NOTHING was good. Not even the rice. The «fried rice» isn’t fried, it appears to be food coloring? The chicken tasted like rubber… I could go on and on, but you get the point. Just do yourself a favor and stay away.

Pretty good (Americanized) Chinese buffet, the Won-​tons are great. Don’t bother with the sushi, it’s pretty lame. Stick to the buffet and you will get your money’s worth. Note: I’ve only had lunch here so I can’t comment on the dinner buffet.
