Repeated awful shopping experiences at this store. I feel like my wait time at check out gets longer and longer each time. Long line of shoppers checking out and one cashier today. I put my items back and left. I don’t need them bad enough to wait in line all day. Much better experiences in other kohls stores, not this one.

You certainly get a scenic tour of Greenport Commons on your way to the Kohl’s way in the most remote corner, past all the strip plazas and other big box stores. This Kohl’s feels smaller than average. It has 1 set of double doors instead of 2(and therefore 1 set of registers), and the service desk is a smaller area in the front of the store. But it feels like the same amount of inventory, and that leads to a problem: Congested navigation. The main aisles are halved by nonstop sales and promotions stands, and the secondary aisles are narrower than usual. I had to backtrack several times in some of these aisles to accommodate other customers with carts approaching from the opposite direction. There’s just no way to go around each other. I also had to deal with one of my pet peeves at checkout, the«please take our online survey» spiel. I was otherwise having a very enjoyable chat with the cashier and her trainee. But as she handed me my receipt, she went on with, «Here’s our survey. I asked other people to please take our survey, and they didn’t. So please promise me you’ll take our survey, and then actually do it. Can I have your promise?» Sorry, but I have enough of an email footprint with other department stores already. Besides, you’re getting a Unilocal review from me? What more could you possibly need?
