Burger King

Wow, this place has gone from bad to worse in less time than it takes to get your order… which is actually a lot more time than it should be. The last 2 times I have been here, it was nothing but churn and chaos behind the counter. Most recently, there were four employees competing to put food on trays and in bags. One was the manager, who was also doing damage control and dealing with frequent order corrections. There were not one but two people manning the drive-​through, and the last sentence of their greeting was always «Have you been waited on yet?» meaning they were not coordinating with each other. Evidently, if you want the kitchen to come to a complete standstill, order onion rings or fries without salt. You want even more churn? Forget to give me a fork for the salad I ordered, so I can go back and disrupt you even more for something you could have put in a bin near the soda fountain.
At least the rest room is still clean.

Quick, friendly and food was good. I rated this against other Burger Kings. Good service and no mistakes.

Good flame broiled burgers and improved tasty fries. Has free Wi-​Fi service and the staff is very friendly. A for effort.

The staff is terrible, the food and coffee is always cold and the always seem to be out of something. This has to be the slowest fast food joint I’ve ever been to.

Although I’ve never favored many Burger King’s nearby to me after my car was hit at another location several years ago, I had mixed results the other day when I walked into this location. Although they came around and asked for dirty items to be thrown out (that hadn’t been discarded yet), that was a nice touch to a place that doesen’t normally do such a favor for people.
On the other hand, I didn’t like the fact that all the tables here were bolted to the floor. For the 6 members of the family that were trying to eat together, one big table just didn’t fit, and having 2 completely separated tables (sitting far apart from each other) is just idiotic. I like places that allow people to move tables around to better suit the visitor. You’ll thank me for it later.
Another thing is that this location isn’t located in the best (cleanest) part of town. Its sitting near a rundown shopping mall, that used to hold a Wendy’s Restaurant location (that is not just as abandoned as the rest of the mall).

Is that really an egg? It tasted like a plastic bag. Meat? You can’t taste this food. I went here very hungry and left very disgusted. This is not a restaurant but a pig trough. I wouldn’t feed this stuff to my pig.

My girlfriend and I were traveling through Hudson and noticed this hidden little gem along route 9. I found myself a little unsure without the help of any Unilocal reviews so I thought I’d give it a try and put Burger King (or BK as the locals like to call it) on the Unilocal map.
I’ll start with the service, in one word, phenomenal! First off, our order box was very polite and concise. The order box explained that I could choose from the featured full-​color menu WITH very easy to read pictures to place my order. Bonus Feature: If you decide on a full meal which includes: 1 entre, 1 side, and 1 beverage, you can order them together in what they call a ‘Value Meal’ and pay less than you would if you were to order them separate — it rocks! In addition as you place your order you are given the option to choose between 3 sizes for your meal! Depending on how hungry you are you can choose from small, medium, and large sized appetites. I was only medium hungry so I settled on that.
I ordered the ‘Whopper’ value meal and was not disappointed. It was indeed a whopper sized sandwich, cooked perfectly medium/​medium with a slight smoky charbroiled taste. My value meal came with golden crisp ‘French fries’ flavored with salt (I don’t think it was organic salt so be cautious healthy eaters). Oh, and I found an off-​colored green fry but took it to mean good luck :)
In summary, everything was pretty darn tasty. Our trip to Burger King on route 9 in Hudson was a pleasant diversion from our day to day and we will definitely be going back. It would have been a perfect 5 out of 5 but my soda was flavorless and boring :/​but we’ll be back!
