Spending a week on the beautiful white sand beaches of Florida’s Gulf Coast is an amazing experience. From hanging out on the beach at Caladesi to kayaking the Weeki Wachee to enjoying all sorts of amazing local delicacies, it’s a beautiful place to visit. And the warm November weather is a nice plus, too. But all of this activity and traveling took a toll on my feet, and today I found myself desperately craving a pedicure!
A local friend recommended LL Nails, an unassuming little place in a strip mall next to Publix. We arrived during a quiet afternoon so they were able to get us right in. They have several different options for pedi’s, ranging from $ 20 on up. They gave us a menu of choices with the options and prices clearly marked — something I really appreciate. We chose the $ 25 Active Basic option which included nail shaping, cuticle trim, hot towel wrap, callous treatment, a mint sea salt scrub massage, and of course polish.
They also offer full waxing services, so I had my brows done too. I left feeling much more glamorous than I did when I got there. Now if only I could find somewhere to make my hair look better in this crazy humidity!
