McDonald’s

We had a little time to kill before a movie, so I stopped in here with my daughters to have lunch. We chose this location because they have a HUGE glassed in room labeled «Play Place» in front of the restaurant, and because they were advertising «My Little Pony» toys for the Happy Meals. We ended up being very disappointed on both fronts.
The food was typically bland McDonalds fare, which for some reason children enjoy. It was what you would expect from The House that Ronald Built.
While ordering, I assured my kids that they would be getting their precious ponies. The cashier HEARD me say this but didn’t bother to tell us that they were completely out of pony toys. It wasn’t until after we sat down at our table that I found out that they had substituted the ponies with another item. My girls were extremely disappointed and I have no idea why they wouldn’t be upfront about this when we were ordering — we certainly would have gone elsewhere.
At least the kids can still burn off some energy in that epic play place, right? Not so much. I’m not kidding — the most pathetic play area i’ve ever seen in a fast food establishment. The. Worst. Absolutely nothing for the kids to do in this very large space. An incredible waste of potential.
Needless to say, we won’t be back. When my kids have a hankering for McNuggets next time, I’d drive out of my way to avoid this location. Fortunately, there are a bazillion other options in close proximity.

Little things. McDonald’s is not great food but I was very pleased this morning by the service. I tend to like my coffee with milk, not creamer. I asked for a coffee with milk. They gave me a bottle of milk to put in my coffee at no charge. Most places would just they don’t have milk. Good on ya McD’s.

This McDonalds is consistently average. The property is starting to look a little tired, with weeds in the gutter, stains on the building, a parking lot that looks like the surface of the moon, and rust all over metal surfaces. The food itself is usually ok, but not as good as it should be. I guess if I had to sum it up with two words, it would be careless apathy.

This place gives a new meaning to fast food, more like slow food and it is never ever right!

RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! I came here only because my son really wanted too and it’s the only place to eat with a playroom. We stopped in for what I thought was a quick meal. A group of 3 employees stood around talking while my son and I was at the counter for at least 5 minutes. No line. Little in the drive-​thru. When a lady FINALLY came over, she asked ‚“Can I help you?” THEN proceeded to continue her conversation with the group she came from, while I had to wait for her to be ready to take my order!
Their saving grace that gave them 2 stars instead of 1, was that they got my order right.

We had just sat down after we got our food and mike the evening shift manager asked us to «leave» so he could close the dining room and wouldn’t let us finish. We were eating for about 7 minutes. I guess since we are foreigners we don’t get the same privileges as Americans do. Very rude mike!
