The food at Nick’s is usually delicious and we eat there a lot. My 1 star review tonight is because we ordered food from them tonight and when we opened it up it was wrong. I was disappointed, ESPECIALLY because they gave me gross soggy fries instead of rice. I’m not sure how you mess that up except fries are probably easier to make. Very disappointed tonight.

Nicks is your typical pizza/sub shop. The roast beef was ok, nothing special. If you’re in the area and want great roast beef go to Panos by the exit to rt 3! Back to Nicks… Greek style pizza is average, subs are all good. Nothing special. All in all, a decent place to eat.

Their prices are okay but their employees are so rude. I requested that they make a few substitutions and the person taking my order said«wow picky are we?» And comments along those lines. I will never go back there

Just moved to this area and Nicks is the first place I have tried! The food is really good! I have had their pizza, steak salad, grilled chicken and Italian sub so far and all is really good! The sub wasn’t soggy at all! :D Deff be my first place to call for an easy dinner!

Well with all the Pizza and Sub shops in Hudson, This is my go to place. The competition is tough in this town with the many and many sub shops to get takeout and those that deliver. Everything I have ever ordered from them has been excellent. I haven’t had anything that isn’t top shelf. I know some one complained about the roast beef on Unilocal and I beg to differ. I guess it all depends on taste or maybe just a fluke, but I disagree. If you look at the value for what you get this place beats most of the places in town hands down. How can anyone complain about that. Quality food combined with tasty food options and excellent prices. Granted it is a sub shop and do not expect anything else for a sit down meal, typical for this venue. Pizza is always piping hot delivered flavorful and the subs are top notch also. The steak tips are awesome and I can honestly say that I have not had a bad experience with Nicks roastbeef ever.

Friendly service, On-time and prompt delivery, affordable prices and great tasting pizza(and fries. Their fries are the best steak fries I’ve had in a long while!) Next time I want pizza delivery, I’m going with this place and I would definitely recommended it to others.

I have been going there for a while. I enjoy the food there for the price. However my one caution is DONOTGETDELIVERY. On numerous occasions I have waited over an hour and even on one occasion waited over two hours for my food. We called them numerous times and they stated it was on it’s way. I only live 2 miles away. Do yourself a favor and go pick it up or you could be waiting a while. Other than that it’s not spectacular or fancy but for Hudson I haven’t found anything better for the type of food.

Nick’s has the best steak tips I’ve ever had. I’ve had steak tips at really high end restaurants, I’ve had them at places like Applebee’s and Nick’s beats them all. I also really love the pastrami. It’s tasty, cooked perfectly for my taste and not fatty at all. I haven’t tried anything else because the steak tips and pastrami are so good, I have no reason to ever order anything else!

Where to start. I consider myself a roast beef expert having grown up with places like Riley’s in Lawrence, Harrison’s in North Andover and of course Kelly’s. I know what good Roast Beef is and Nicks is just plain BAD. I first noticed their method of cooking the beef, MICROWAVE and almost cancelled my order at that point, but I was hungry. I ordered a super beef, my standard way with sauce and radish, that’s BBQ sauce and horse radish for any one who’s not a regular Roast Beef pro. The BBQ sauce, wasn’t that bad, but the horse radish was non existent, they use a sauce instead of actual horseradish. My suggestion to anyone looking for good roast beef in New Hampshire, DON“T GOHERE, if your in that area, take a drive over to PANO’s which isn’t as good as Harrison’s, but insanely better than Nicks. I haven’t tried the pizza and subs and probably won’t, why, well when you lead with Roast Beef in your name and fail miserably, well you loose me for everything!

So like most of us I love to try a new places. A friend told me Nick’s Roast Beef and Pizza was really good. He specifically told me to try the RB. I did, and here is my review. The sandwich I received on a Monday afternoon was weak. First of all I haven’t had a roast beef sandwich in quite a while. I remember how good it was down in MA, at a place called Bill and Bob’s Roast Beef. Bill and Bob’s RB sandwich was so amazing that I had to order a second one. That place completely ruined me for the NH version. The sandwich I got here was not very tasty. The meat was less then tender, almost stringy. The temperature was luke warm, actually it was cold in some parts. Please note that I ate in and they were not busy. The onion roll was decent… but I was there for some amazing RB! Half way through my sandwich I was regretting my decision to eat there. I can’t speak for the pizza or anything else on the menu, but their main menu item was horrible. The store itself was clean. Parking was easy. The girl working there had no personality. Rant: I’m getting sick of the quality of moderately priced food in NH. Apparently the people here have low expectations for what they eat. Thats how these place remain open for so long. I feel that in order to get a tasty meal I have to show up at peak hours, have the cook that cares on duty, and watch them make the food. I was having a small gathering on a recent weeknight. After I bopped out of work, I called in a pizza order to Nick’s on the way home while driving through Manch. This small pizza shop is order at the counter with crammed with formica booth seating in front, Coke cooler, and Wachusett Chips rack. The menu offers pizza(Greek style crust), pizza calzones, salads, appetizers, subs, roast beef sandwiches, pasta, pita bread, kebabs, souvlaki, gyros, and baklava. I arrived at Nick’s in Hudson about 20 minutes later and my pizzas were still in the Q-Matic 55 conveyor oven(10 more minutes). The total for two large specialty pizzas came out to $ 16.47 with tax, with Entertainment«bogo“coupon, a great deal! The money I saved with the coupon I used to buy some cold ones. The heavy pizzas were still hot when I got home. We had the Polo Primavera(grilled chicken, broccoli, onions, creamy white sauce & mozzarella) and the Greek Style(spinach, feta, onions, creamy white sauce, sliced meat, & mozzarella) which were both very tasty and filling, yummo!!! The thin homestyle crust was soft and sagging near the center of the pie due to the generous amount of toppings. After two slices(one of each), that was enough for me. The cold Sam Adams Summer Ale and Coors Light from the fridge went down good after that heavy dinner. We enjoyed the Sox game afterwards. NOTE: Watch your step entering and exiting the front door.
