A welcome surprise of tasty goodness. You must try the spinach pizza, so fresh and delicious! It’s like no other, in a good way. The sauce is good, a hint of sweetness. We wanted to order some pizza and salad for a meeting. Didn’t want to order from same old in the 603 so we went across the bridge. We were so glad we did. The salad wasn’t your typical pizza joint iceberg lettuce salad; it was made with greens. The radishes and olives plus the choice of dressings, all so good. Give it a go-go.

Yum yum yum and nom nom nom. Can’t get enough of this damned pizza. Always fresh and hot, plenty of cheese and cooked well. I’m afraid to order an extra cheese pie for fear that it would be 10 pounds of cheese(even though I LOVE cheese, that might be over my head). The sauce is like, sweet at first, then it mellows out, and whatever else they do, this is one of my favorite pizzas, hot or cold.

If you like sugar this is the pizza for you. The sauce is sweet. The crust tastes more like a cake than a pizza crust. Even the vegetables taste like they have sugar on them. We were very disappointed. The Greek salad was good but the price is a little hefty for what we got. We won’t be going back.

Pizza was good, crust was excellent! Sauce on the sweet side. 20oz drinks are free with purchase. Kids ordered steak and cheese subs and they were loaded with steak. All in all, we’d go back.

Thank you to Veria Pizza for including a 2 liter bottle of soda with my order. It was a nice touch and the kids appreciated the kind gesture. Plus the pizza is great !! A nice crispy crust and not oily or greasy like some of the other local spots.

So let me start by saying that I don’t like Greek style pizza and didn’t know that this was. That being said, it was pretty good. Just the right amount of cheese and spices. Worthy of 4 stars.

Great pizza with plenty of cheese. Love the flavor. We order from work every Friday and they treat us terrific. I see people don’t realize that business get charge a fee from the CC companies and the dollar help defray the charge; does not cover it all.

Great pizza, timely service, but some of their dinners are subpar. Their chicken parm dinner for example. The chicken used is literally worse than McDonald nuggets. Simply put, it isn’t chicken.

On the way back to the office, I stopped at Veria Pizza for some dinner takeout, which is located in the former space of Hudson House of Pizza, which moved across the street. Veria Pizza serves up Greek style pizzas, subs, fried seafood(haddock, scallops, whole clams, shrimp), salads, pasta, chicken, charcoal dinners(marinated chicken, steak tips, gyros), side orders, bagged Lays chips, Pepsi cooler drinks, and children’s menu, at reasonable prices. It’s a very casual order at the counter place with plenty of table seating and a flat screen TV mounted on the wall. I got myself a Small Anchovies Pizza($ 6.25) and a Chicken Cutlet Parmesan over Spaghetti($ 5.75), which was ready in about 20 minutes after placing the order. The pizza was tasty, which was baked in an inch deep pan and had a crispy airy crust with a modest amount of tomato sauce, lots of melted cheese and the right amount of anchovies. The chicken parmesan was a great value for the money and very tasty, which was oven baked in a round foil container and had a thick layer of melted cheese over four soft chicken cutlet tenders from the generous amount of tomato sauce over soft spaghetti and served with garlic bread(from sub rolls). Overall, great job to the new pizza place on this strip! I have to try the charcoal steak tips next time!

Let me start by saying the food is very good. but buyer beware– They charge you a $ 1 to use your credit/debit card for every transaction but you are not notified. I am not sure this is even legal– according to Visa, merchants arent supposed to charge for use of cards– especially debits. BUT. I used cash to pay and was ALSO charged an extra $ 1 for this transaction. I asked for a receipt and saw that it said it was miscellaneous charge $ 1. I inquired about this and was told it was a mistake. It seems they automatically add an extra $ 1 to every purchase. I am sure a lot of people would not even notice and just pay it. I am also certain some would say, big deal, its a $ 1 right? However, that to me is a sleazy practice. My $ 1 was refunded to me after I pointed out the mistake, but only because I said something. Great pizza, great subs– use cash and ask for a receipt to make sure you arent paying the Verias special tax. My other complaint about their pricing is that the menu prices do not match what you are charged– ever. I ordered a large cheese pizza, the menu said $ 10.00 and I was charge $ 12.00. Even with tax, that would not add up to the additional cost.
