My go to place for breakfast — this place is always packed when I go, and for good reason! All the food is great, you get large portions for a very reasonable price. The staff is always willing to make adjustments to orders so you are getting exactly what you want. Everyone I take here from out of town loves it!

Still the best breakfast I’ve ever had since moving to New England! Never disappointed with the service or the food. The coffee is fresh, the food is hot, the employees are polite. Love it

Our go-to place for a great breakfast or lunch. Even though it is always busy(expect to see a waiting line because it’s that good!) you never feel rushed. The waitstaff is some of the most organized, friendly and efficient we’ve ever experienced and we eat out quite a bit. The food is well prepared – exactly the way it was ordered – and served up quickly. Can’t say enough good things about the great service, regardless of how busy it is. Prices are very reasonable; the best value around. I highly recommend Suzie’s if you are looking for an affordable, friendly, Mom and Pop-type diner.

Service is great. Love the comfy seating. Food choices are certainly ample. Food just wasn’t all that good. Eggs Benedict … poached eggs undercooked by 2 minutes, wasn’t lovin the smoked flavor ham. Hollandaise was decent. Home fries were okay, prep for lotsa onion if you’re down with it… Sausage links, more like a banger. Hot bf’s omelet was pretty good, ham a tad salty. Blueberry pancakes were fluffy goodness. I’m being told I’m hard to please… maybe.

Where to even start? Today I, and three friends decided to visit this diner. When we arrived the place was packed(like every Sunday anywhere with breakfast will be) We waited in a line for about 10 minutes, and not once did any of the staff acknowledge we were there. Another couple of minutes goes by, and now there’s a long line behind us. One lady finally came over, due to a booth being vacant. She asked who was waiting the longest, which was us. So as were walking to the booth she stops to ask how many people, when we told her 4 she decided to yell out and ask how many were waiting in a group about two groups who were standing behind us. Since they had 5, she rudely made us wait again because a bigger group was waiting. I’m very upset at how we were treated. It was totally uncalled for, and we will not be returning. Along with the food being sub par, and our waitress forgetting a order of home fries when we ordered 2, and a water for our group. I had high expectations, now I’m left extremely disappointed.

Went for breakfast for the first time yesterday. It’s awesome! There’s ample parking in the back. It does get busy, and there’s not much room to wait, but they get tables turned over very quick. I don’t know of any breakfast place with prices this good. Check out my pictures of the menu to see what I mean. They also have great specials, and they serve alcohol. Look on Groupon, they normally have something up there($ 12 for $ 20 worth of food, for example).

Very good breakfast and coffee here. I travel for work so I eat breakfast out all the time. Service was good, friendly folks behind the counter. I had a breakfast special, meatloaf omelette(I was skeptical), it was delicious. I’ll be back tomorrow morning and Monday too, as I am an early riser and they open at 4:30. The consistency test will come tomorrow.

Update: I have to believe both myself and the diner were in a different place back in 2011. Five years later, this is one of my least favorite places to go. It’s still pretty affordable(and crowded) but the food is pretty sub par. Just your average diner good, really lackluster French toast.(Seems to just be made of regular toast…)

Service was fast and friendly. Omelets were a little over done, potatoes & bacon under done. However they were really busy at the time. That being said, attention to detail still remains key in my book.

Unfortunately, this place is still unreliable. One meal will be good and the next time it will be terrible. We keep coming back, though less frequently now, hoping that food prep will return to being consistently good, but it just isn’t happening. We have yet to find a day of the week or time of day when we can count on getting a hot, well-cooked meal here. Wait staff is as good as ever, but we can’t continue to patronize Suzie’s based on their performance alone. After years of enjoyment, we are very disappointed.

Dined on a Friday afternoon around 2:30 pm. Unilocal reviews led us here and my friend found a Groupon… bonus! There were ample available booths and tables when we arrived and we were directed to seat ourselves. Menus are available at the tables and our waiter didn’t come over right away(more than 5 but less than 10 minutes) to greet us. She took our drink orders, coffee and hot tea, as we continued to look over the menu. My friend settled quickly on a stir fry and I, on the hungry man with a side of hash browns but much to my disappointment, breakfast isn’t served after 2 pm. :-(Not sure where that’s posted but we missed it. Back to the drawing board. We decided to split a large garden salad with balsamic dressing on the side, a grilled shrimp teriyaki stir fry and the bison burger which was posted on the«specials» board with a side of sweet potato fries(for an up charge). The garden salad was fresh and included red onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, mixed greens and green peppers. Tomatoes were included in the salad but our waiter also brought a small dish of tomato wedges over and said something but we couldn’t make out what she said??? A bottle of Ken’s balsamic was placed on the table. It would have been more impressive if it had been poured into a serving container… then we wouldn’t have known it was from a bottle. The large was definitely a nice size to share. Our lunches arrived just as we had finished our salad. The bison burger was a bit disappointing. I was expecting a handmade patty, instead, it appeared to possibly be a frozen patty, served with lettuce a slice of tomato, a pickle slice and mayo on the side. The sweet potato fries; however, were very good, crispy, thick and hot! My friend’s stir fry contained summer squash slices, peppers, onions, 5 fairly large grilled shrimp over rice pilaf with a heavy teriyaki drizzle. The shrimp and veggies were cooked perfectly, the rice(per my friend) was a little mushy but that’s how I prefer rice but the teriyaki was very salty and a little too much. Would ask for it on the side if we had this again. Unlimited refills on coffee and tea. We asked about dessert: tapioca or chocolate pudding, strawberry shortcake, banana cream pie, apple crisp, lemon meringue pie and pumpkin pie… all tempting and very reasonably priced from $ 1.50 to about $ 4; however, they are not homemade. Instead, purchased from a restaurant supply. So, we decided to skip dessert. Total tab not including tip and groupon $ 28. Glad we tried it but would probably not go out of our way to return. Very friendly and attentive waiter!

Good food, great prices, quick service! The eggs Irish was absolutely delicious! Corn beef hash was cooked perfectly as was the English muffin under it. Poached eggs were cooked great, as was the hollandaise that covered it all! An excellent combination for breakfast, killer hang over cure! My girlfriend got the hungry man breakfast it was all cooked well but your typical run of the mill breakfast platter with a little bit of everything! That’s why I only rated 4 and not 5. The service was also great; timely, efficient, and accurate! We’ll definitely be back here many times in the future!!!

Found this place through Groupon. So glad I did! Prices are almost too reasonable. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the food was really good! It didn’t leave me feeling heavy like many diners do. Definitely will be coming back.

I can’t stop thinking about this place. Being from New York, I am so used to paying upwards of $ 20 per person for brunch. It was really refreshing to eat good brunch food for such a good and reasonable price. My whole family went and we paid $ 46 dollars for 6.5 entrees and a bunch of coffees/teas. That’s how much brunch would cost for like three people in NYC. The food at the diner wasn’t about presentation. It was about tasting amazing and being the most important meal of the day. The eggs benedict was great. The biscuits and gravy were great, even though they were more like english muffins. Good thing I couldn’t see under all that delicious gravy. The servers were really, really nice. The diner is also self-seating which is very efficient and casual. The coffee and teas are unlimited refills as it should be. I only have good things to say. Lesson to NYC: Brunch should be cheap and casual. I want to go back here and order everything all to myself. I also want to go here for their dinner menu, because that looked amazing too.

Service was top notch, wait was nil at 9am on Saturday morning, prices good, but food wasn’t quite what we had hoped for, based on other reviews. Walked in the door, and staff member behind the counter immediately directed us to a nice little booth in the far corner. She took our drinks order as we walked by. That’s efficient! Specials board had some unique items. I was tempted by the pumpkin pancakes or bruschetta omelette. They even offer gluten free pancakes. Don’t ask me why I went for the standard spinach and feta omelette. I wished I had picked one of the other options. It was okay, at least not watery from the spinach, but actually a little dry. Hash browns had no flavor. Had to add salt and pepper which I rarely do. And some pieces were undercooked, while others were overcooked to the point I could have made mashed potatoes out of them. Hubby’s were the same. But he did like his meat lover’s omelette. The dinner menu looked good(the shrimp scampi has my name on it), so we may try Suzie’s again in the future when we are in the area.

We just moved to Hudson a week ago and decided to give this place a go since it was right down the street from our new house and for 9am on a Sunday morning, the parking lot didn’t look too packed. We must have gotten there right in between the early birds and the second rush, because shortly after we were seated there was a line out the door. I’m pretty picky with my hot coffee but after my kids woke us up super early, coffee was a must. I was really impressed with it and went through 2 cups(I usually barely make it halfway through one). I got chocolate chip pancakes with bacon, as did my girls(Darlene, our waitress, asked if they wanted Mickey shaped pancakes which is always a thumbs up in my book). The hubby got the house special with a side of corned beef hash. The sausage patties were thin and a good size, not like the thick, dried out ones you get at most places. Great food for a great price, and Darlene was amazing. I think we found our new«regular» breakfast place!
