It’s just ok. Never have we been overly impressed with this spot. The inside is dingy and outdated it looks gross and dirty. It could use a real facelift both inside and out. As for the food it’s mediocre.

Super friendly server, rustic décor, delicious brunch. The omlettes are build your own with a choice of 4 ingredients and served with choice of toast and potato. Definitely try their tavern spuds– their own cut potatoes smothered in cheese, bacon, and onions.

I love Hudson, so I am always down to sneak over there any chance that I get. Decided to try out the food at Seasons Tavern based mainly on their high rating on Unilocal. The bar downstairs looked like it could be fun though I cannot confirm this as we were starving and wanted to eat right away. We were promptly seated in a very near empty dining room. Most of the patrons of the almost full parking lot must have been in the bar, Our waitress was on point, very prompt, pleasant and efficient. She is the reason that I was able to give a rating of two stars I would really like to give a 2.5 stars but cannot give a three. If I could rate strictly on service I would give this 4 stars but sadly I rate based on the overall experience and when you are going out to eat the quality of the food is what I base it on. The atmosphere was cozy, clean and nicely decorated. He ordered the walleye dinner($ 19) ordered it grilled with salad and red potato. I tasted the walleye it was ok, cooked well, but I felt for $ 19 the portion size was very small. it also came with a side of green beans The salad looked pretty nice. He ate it and said«It was ok.» I think that is guy talk for«It didn’t completely suck but I am still hungry». I ordered the pulled pork tacos($ 14). I need to put a disclaimer on here to let you know that I lived in Tuscon, AZ these past five years so my standard is very high when it comes to anything remotely mexican and therefore, I may be a bit of a snob in this area. While waiting for the deliciousness that was to come my mouth was yearning to be stimulated.. When I think of pulled pork visions of a blackened fat cap bursting with a smokey flavor with juices flowing through meat that is laden with flavor. This is where my vision ended and sadly, this was not my experience. To be honest they were simply awful. The meat I would guess was thrown in a crock pot with a little bit of water and absolutely no seasoning whatsoever. Nothing not even salt and pepper. It was meat set in water. Plain, uninviting a disservice really to what should be a wonderful tribute to the pig that gave its life for my dinner. Ok, I am being dramatic. I ate one taco only because I was starving. Gave one to the boyfriend since I was sure he was still starving from his small portion dinner and took one home for the perra(dog).. The flour tortillas were ice cold not even tossed in a microwave to warm them slightly. The cheese did not melt at all on them so everything was pretty cold on my plate. The salsa was from a jar, the beans from a can, the rice from a box also came with a side of sour cream from a hmmm cow?. Everything was bland, blah, plain, unflavored and did nothing to stimulate my taste buds. What was wonderful, was of course the spotted cow! As a plus since I was still starving I was a little tipsy from the beer. We may venture out for their fish fry someday and if we do I will update but there really wasn’t anything happening there that made me yearn to go back for more.

Love the décor, the friendly staff and the food. One of the best breakfast I had. The only thing I regret was not ordering the Bloody Mary… I had a mimosa and definitely felt out of place. Everyone in the room had a Bloody Mary, definitely ordering one next time I’m in Wisconsin.

Nice rathskeller atmosphere downstairs for lunch. Great music and friendly service too. Walleye Basket had perfectly fried pieces of fish with very light crisp batter. The seasoned fries were hot and crispy and the coleslaw was tasty. The rest of the family had the Cuban sandwich which was highly rated by my daughter. My bride had the chicken salad sandwich on cranberry bread and thought it was great. The only let down was the hamburger that was ordered… over cooked and too dry. I am sure it would have been good if not overdone. We will next time order the burger medium instead of leaving it up to the cook.

So good! Went here after a weekend of camping for Sunday breakfast and got the walleye Benedict. It was so yummy! You walk in and head to the basement where they serve breakfast and brunch. It’s a cute log inspired place with a lot of mounts and hometown pictures. Our server was the best and matched our energy after a fun weekend fest. Drinks are cheap-$ 4 for bloody Mary’s and the food all around was really good. You get to choose hashbrowns, house fries or tater tots for a side. Only a ridiculous person wouldn’t love those options. I will definitely go back when I cross that Wisconsin border.

My boyfriend and I went here after a long day of shopping in Stillwater. Seasons Tavern was exactly what we were looking for. We sat downstairs in the bar area which has a very cozy cabin feel. The bartender was very friendly, which provided a small town«everyone knows everyone» vibe. We enjoyed a couple of beers — we did not eat, but food looked amazing. We will for sure be back for round two!

Great waitress. Food was good. Had all you can eat fish. Had a party of 11 people and our waitress brought two wonderful cheese cake pieces for us to share. Like this place and others do too. That is why it is so crowded. This was the only downside I could see.

I’ve eaten here a lot and it’s definitely a go to place. Prime rib philly is delicious and the onion rings are great. They also have the best French onion soup around. Can’t go wrong with their walleye dinner, don’t ruin it though get it grilled. Tavern spuds are a must. They also have a great breakfast. Walleye cakes eggs Benedict are awesome, make it a surf and turf and add some ham. The owner is almost always in house and will make sure your satisfied.

We were the forgotten ones. We were a party of seven on a busy Friday fish fry night. Four adults and three kids under 10. Wait for a table was only about twenty minutes, unfortunately the wait at the table for someone to show up and offer us beverages was longer than that. We were never quite sure who our actual server was as we eventually had multiple people piece mealing our service together. It happens sometimes… being the forgotten ones.(Hint…if you come to my table and apologize for keeping us waiting, at least spray some perfume on yourself so I can’t smell that you were just outside having a smoke break… I would be much more forgiving if I didn’t know that) Once we got our food, amazing fish. Just how fish fry should be, light batter and thick pieces of fish so you can taste the fish not just the batter. Weirdly the tartar sauce was exceptional. I’m not sure what you can do to jazz up tartar sauce but they did it. We will be back for the food and to give the service another chance.

Sitting at the bar makes a huge difference — I will say the stools are not the most comfortable for this short lady but I enjoyed myself and the bartender Brad was personable and made the experience good. He knows how to mix a drink. The meals we witnessed coming out this Friday night looked fresh and good. I just had a snack and my partner in crime had the wild rice soup which is house made absolutely delicious. I think we will be going back again and again.

I don’t know why I haven’t eaten here sooner! It’s within a mile of my house. We went for family breakfast, due to word of mouth that they have great food. They’re known for their walleye song ordered the Blackened Walleye and eggs. The walleye was FANTASTIC, my over easy eggs were done PERFECTLY. My hubs had the huevos rancheros and they were the best I’ve ever had. My hubby said he’s going back for it! I had a Bloody Mary which in my opinion is the best one in town. My son had the French toast made with a thick sliced cinnamon bread and it wAs delicious! I can’t wait to try lunch and dinner!

Wait staff didn’t know what was on tap and apparently didn’t tell us about the evening dinner special(found after we ordered). Burgers were ‘ok’ and served well done. The Ellsworth cheese curds were tasty and undoubtedly would have been better if the fryer grease didn’t have a lingering fish-fry flavor. Too many other options nearby for good bar food.

Love this place! My husband and I tried it out six months ago and now we keep going back. The owners have went above and beyond to make sure the experience is a positive one. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel as if you have stepped into the Northwoods and start to relax. We usually eat in the den(downstairs) because we like the cozy, old supper club/speakeasy feeling that it gives(not to mention the hubby likes the popcorn from the bar), but even upstairs is nice as well. The wild rice soup is fantastic along with any of their steak, walleye or my personal fav the walleye cakes. Did I mention their Friday night fish fry is fantastic? It’s busy on those nights so get there early, but don’t let that worry you about the food delivery. It’s hot, quick and delicious! The last time we were there entertaining out-of-state guests, I noticed that even the owners were out running food and having a blast doing it; they clearly care about their business and staff – and it shows!

Food — 4 stars Bloody Mary — 4.5 stars(high praise for me) Atmosphere/service — 5+ At the start of a long day’s driving home from Minneapolis, we needed a good solid breakfast meal and the Unilocal app steered us to Season’s in North Hudson. I didn’t even know there was a North Hudson, but there is. Beware, — the Unilocal address is wrong, or at least when you click on directions, it takes you to the address in regular Hudson, not north type. Just look at the map and you’ll do better. Aaaaanyway, we walk in on a frigid northern winter day, first ones in the place. This place has a nice homey, cabin type feel to it — exposed beams and a general northwoods kind of feel. Lots of Packers stuff, fish on the walls, that kind of thing. So far I’m liking it. Then, things got awesome. Walking into the bar area, the bartender — a 40-something lady who seems like your mom says ‘Morning! Two Bloody Marys for you guys?’ I shit you not those were her exact words. We must have a look about us or something. But anyway, she was spot on because HELLYES we want some Bloody Marys, how did you know? So Sconnie. So awesome. Just after sitting down and while the bartender is whipping up our drinks, a waitress comes to greet us and her first question is what kind of beer we want for our chaser. You can choose any beer on tap and it’s the same price. This is nice — other places will only let you have the low-end stuff. The Bloody was very tasty — spicy enough without being salty and with classic Sconnie garnish — beef stick chunk, cheese chunk, pickle, olive. Awesome. Food — I would say above average quality — good, tasty comfort food breakfast. Nothing too fancy on the menu, but everything done well. I had the basic plate with sourdough bread(LOVE places that have sourdough as a choice), bacon, eggs and tavern spuds. You MUST try the tavern spuds. How could potatoes, bacon and onion covered in cheese not be a good thing? So tasty. Sean tried the Cajun benedict which was andouille sausage instead of ham and a different kind of sauce. It was good but I was expecting an actual sausage split in half rather than a patty. Just me though, it was definitely tasty. If you are in the area — driving from MSP east on 94, do yourself a favor and stop in to Seasons for a good breakfast and great atmosphere.
