Chili’s

Food is average. Don’t have a complaint about the taste at all, but the host literally ruined everything! We walked in and waited for a good 6 – 7 minutes with no acknowledgement from anybody. Then abruptly the host came up to us, looked at me and my friend then at the people that came in after us and kind of gestured with both hands pointing rudely and asked, «who’s first?» Me and the other people looked at each other confused, but I went ahead and said we were. She then proceeded to say, «it’s going to be a 15 – 20 min wait» STILL with no greeting. There was an awkward pause because I couldn’t believe she was being this rude and my friend said to her, «Okay, table for 3 please». The host then had the audacity to say, «It’s still going to be a 15 – 20 min wait» As if she was trying to make us leave. After us, the family next to us, asked for a table for 3 also, and she said, «Oh lord» and walked away.

Server, David really made my night fun at Chili’s. He was the life of the party and definitely was a talker.
Now, this particular chained restaurant I banned myself from since I got food poisoning from the one in La Porte/​Pasadena area.
However, since my boyfriend was choosing the restaurant this time of course he would choose this chained game jive.
We both settled for the 2 for $ 20 couples meal deal and ordered some food. First we ordered an appetizer of chili queso with chips.
David warned us that the kitchen would have delays, so our appetizer may be arriving late. We were both fine with that.
After about 25 minutes of chatting with Wayne and making small talk with David, our chips, salsa and queso arrived.
Then, our main meals of: bacon burger, cheesy fries and mashed potatoes for Wayne and my mango-​chile tilapia.
We immediately ate our meal and everything was delicious.
The mango-​chile fish was a bit spicy for my tasting, but the sweetness of the mangos chilled my tastebuds. A long with a pair of cilantro rice and steamed broccoli.
I don’t like broccoli; but the taste of it was crunchy and nutritious. The cilantro rice was lightly seasoned.
Wayne enjoyed all his food.
One thing, I didn’t like was that the hostess/​host placed us in a «child’s playground» nothing, but lots of screaming loud babies near our table. It was quite unpleasant to enjoy the first half of our meal, but thankfully as the night got deeper in, those family-​friendly people left.
The parking is well off; I spotted a spot right in front of the window we were sitting at, so I could view Betsy.
The ladies restroom was clean, but the middle stall had no toilet tissue.
This isn’t so bad of a chained restaurant.

This review is based off the cleanliness of the restaurant. There should not be tons of dirty dishes left out even though it’s close to closing. No where to sit at least 4+ table dirty.

We got seated by the manager that was off the clock. And the waiter never came to the table. We sat there for 20 min and left.

Horrible staff. For my mothers bday we came to the humble location, we waited for an hour, after checking the app over and over again a party of six managed to get seated before us making us wait 15 min more than we should have. The manager spoke with my father and her tone was incredibly rude, she was also unaware of what’s going on around her as her staff is making decisions without telling her. I used to work at a restaurant, and I’ve never seen a more unorganized staff in my life. Also the place is very dirty, there is trash all over the floor, finger prints all over the doors.

This spot is usually really busy but on point. Occasionally you will come in and they will have fallen into the weeds or come up short on staff, but in general, you can depend on them to deliver the Chili’s favorites hot and fast. This location has recently been updated, so it looks fresh inside.

This chilis have excellent customer service and the food is always great. Never had a bad experience. Had to wait over 30 min a couple times but that’s expected on busy days like Valentine’s and Mother’s Day. Definitely recommend this location.

Arrived Friday at 5:30 — restaurant was half full but we had to wait for 20 minutes. Typical chain feel — fajita meat was salty, baby back ribs were tough/​over cooked and had little meat. The salsa tasted like it just came out of the freezer (cold) and it wasn’t really what you expect from salsa in Texas — it was more like tomato paste. The guacamole likewise tasted bland and not fresh (obviously like most of the food it was pre processed). The restaurant itself needs some TLC.
Extra star because we could pay on the tablet at our table and leave quicker.

We went after the movies to have some late dinner and it was actually good. Had the Fried Pickles as shared appetizers with my friends and I had the Quesadilla Explosion Salad — it was delicious! Our waiter was attentive and we decided to choose a seat on the bar area — we were a party of three and didn’t want to wait for a table. I noticed this time Chili’s has expanded their menu choices, which is a good thing.

We had to wait for a while and the meal wasn’t served the way how it was. We were pretty upset but the manager on duty paid attention to us and she fixed it. That made everything ok.

If you’ve never had Chili’s, stop reading this and go eat. Taste is pretty consistent across the chain, and it’s way better than Applebee’s. They also have vegetarian options.
Service was fantastic. Our waitress was very attentive and cheerful. I told our waitress that my sister and I were splitting our burger. When she came out with our food, not only was our burger cut in half, but each half was on a separate plate with the fries split equally. Usually chains will have all the food on one plate, give you a second empty one, and let you struggle with trying to cut through a messy burger.
What I really want to rave about is Ziosk. It’s a tablet at your table that you can order from as well as pay for your bill. In a rush to pay your bill, but you can’t seem to find your waiter/​waitress anywhere? Have you ever had a waiter/​waitress tell you they can’t split a check? That they can’t possibly split the check based on items? Fear no more, because you can do it all with Ziosk from the comfort of your own table.
Chili’s, you da real MVP.

I’m form California so you would think I’m used to poor service but this visit was horrible they took for every to bring out my food and I had to ask twice for water refills that being said there was only 3 people sitting @ the bar…

Yummmm ribss… get the ribs. Only thing that sucks is they have 0 vodka drinks on the menu.

We were greeted at the front door with a nice smile by our server Ms. Megan. Megan interacted with the kids well and engaged them in conversation awhile escorting a family of four to clean window booth. Megan stated, «may I take your drink orders please». She suggested an appetizer, but we requested the fried pickles & enchilada soup. Megan repeated our drink request, and pointed to the game pad to entertain our children. Our drink order was quick and correct with straws issued. Our dinner order was completed timely and was presented according to our specifications. The wife and I shared a build your combo meal: Salmon was cooked perfectly. Kids meals had large portions. We were delighted with our visit and enjoyed the Game Pad.

Sat at the bar during lunch around 1130am. Bartender was quick and friendly. Chicken enchilada soup was awesome. The bacon avocado chicken club sandwich wasn’t very good. Chicken didn’t have much flavor.

Place was on the dirty/​dusty side when my wife and I went today. Paid $ 9 for a salad that was served on a dinner plate and the croutons were stale. Wife’s burger wasn’t very impressive. Wait staff was friendly but didn’t even get a «thank you» by the girl attending the door. Not sure what happened to this place but it used to be good.

First time I ever went to this location well this place is just really dirty! Food was cold waited about 30+ minutes for the food. When I passed by the kitchen it was horrible really unsanitary! Will never come back to this location .
Too bad I can’t give this place a no star at all.

Only reason I am giving this 1 stars is for the service only. It was fast and friendly. I ordered the half rack ribs with fries. Usually they are delicious. But not this time. Extremely dried out like jerky. Very little meat mostly fat on it. Also both fries and ribs very salty. BBQ tasted like ketchup. I won’t eat that here again.

Always a family favorite. I love that they have father/​daughter night and mother/​son with activities for kids. Will have to try it out. Otherwise, their ribs are always a crowd pleaser with our gang. Wait staff does a good job. We have fun and good times here!
