Terrible, I was on «hold» for two minutes and while I waited the cashier repeated someone’s credit card number at loud. The chicken isn’t crispy. There’s really not much difference between flavor of general tso chicken and orange chicken. The egg rolls are pretty good but that’s about it. Last time ordering from them.

This is our new go to for Chinese delivery. When we aren’t in the mood for pizza, but don’t want to leave the house this is the place to call! This is the best Chinese food I have had in a long long time! I’m pretty picky about egg rolls and I LOVE these! The General Tso’s chicken is really really good and I haven’t had anything I don’t like yet! The delivery is always quicker than they say too!

Soup is excellent, and the lunch special is a great deal. Mongolian beef comes recommended highly. Very tender, and the vegetables are cooked to perfection. New favorite place.

I order Chinese once a week and more often than not they are late on delivery(which is already much longer than other local Chinese places) and then the food arrives cold. On our last order the delivery driver was totally out of it, didn’t know what he was delivering(had to go back out to his car because he had no idea). Last time we order from the place. Service is very poor overall.

My husband and I eat here all the time. We have 4 main dishes we order, and we have never been disappointed. Not greasy or too salty.

Good food. Not really greasy like other Chinese places and their portions sizes are good for two people.

I ordered the pupu platter and chicken broccoli for pickup. They were ready right on time. Everything was delicious and the portions were large. Came with dipping sauces and everything. No complaints here.

Nice, small and quiet when we had been there. Okay selection but got sick afterwards the few times we have been there. Not going back.

The place is far from fancy but that’s not why you’re coming to the small place that fits maybe 30 people max. The food is very reasonably priced for the large quantities you get, and the quality of meat is good, better than a Panda Express for example. Have gone 3 times, they’re always busy with To go orders. Will go even more!

The waitress was very friendly at this little place that is most often frequented for take-out rather than dinning-in. There was a steady line of customers coming to pick up their food while we dined. The restaurant is small with very little décor on the walls, which are actually painted pink. Pink is the theme of the restaurant by all appearances since the walls and menu are all in pink. I tried the General Tso’s chicken. I wasn’t impressed with the appearance, but the flavor and crunch of the meat were right on. The rice was definitely not your standard fried rice — more like rice from a pouch. The eggroll was very good, as was the hot and sour soup. My friend had the Szechuan beef which tasted alright. The beef was a lot more tender than expected.

Thought this was part of the China Star franchise, but alas — no. House fried rice is great, service was hurried and we didn’t get to actually order all we wanted… low rating due to gloppy General Tso’s chicken and hurried waitstaff…

Below average strip center Chinese food. I tried it a few times. I’m skipping from now on.

Chinese/Asian restaurant in a shopping center? Not sure what these other reviewers were expecting. You’re not exactly going to a steak house near the galleria. It’s cheap priced good food for what it is. Nice staff that has been helpful. Order is always ready fast for pick up and they have delivery. My favorites are the crab puffs, won ton soup, and chicken w/vegetables.

Mongolian beef is delish! Homemade hot mustard is great, but now they give packets that don’t compare by a long shot. Plus this place is 3 minutes from home!

The epitome of mediocre… Nothing was disgusting, but my lips never uttered an mmmmmm, either. And, well, if something is delicious, that’s what I do… mmmmmm. My son and I walked in… Not a single person in there… That was weeeeird. Well, if i’m being honest here I was slightly thankful because it was noon and I was in my pajamas and had no bra on. BUT, when you’re about to eat somewhere, the last thing you want to see are a bunch of empty seats. Service was quick, food came out in a flash. Prices are super reasonable and the lady at the counter was sweet enough. I guess the chicken lo mein was CLOSE to disgusting. There were like wilted, soggy pieces of lettuce in it? wtf? And the chicken that was inside had more of an over cooked tofu consistency than chicken. Not sure that i’ll eat the leftovers even… The fried rice… Well, before i even started eating, I had already made my sons place(he’s 5) and he yells into the kitchen«MA! If you ordered fried rice with yours, don’t eat it! GROSS!» Kid loves fried rice. Harsh critic! :) Wonder where he gets that from? Look, at the end of the day, kids are super honest and have no filter. It DID look and taste very generic. Not«ethnic»…It was as though I myself attempted to make fried rice for the first time and did an OH-KAY job. My son liked the orange chicken. Personally, I thought it tasted more like the peel of an orange. I ordered this 3 meat medley(chicken, beef, shrimp) and that was probably the best part. Wonton soup wasn’t bad. I’m pretty sure the only way i’d go back is if I were super drunk and craving chinese food. And that’s only because I can walk there from my Apt.

Quick in and out Chinese food restaurant by my house. I suggest that you order your food to go as there is really minimal traffic in the restaurant and sitting in their could really be awkward(as I personally hate to hear people chew). The Hot and Sour soup is always nice if it’s FRESH. I have ordered some that was a bit older an coagulated(gross). This is really on the only Chinese food place in the area so if you have a craving for it, try this place out.

The worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I don’t often feel compelled to review restaurants. I just picked up and ate a little of my first — and last — order from this place. Beef Lo Mein and steamed dumplings. First, the dumplings. Appearance — not bad. Also large serving size and filled with meat. The flavor, however, is horrid. As soon as I took one bite I knew this dish would be thrown away. The meat tastes like leftovers — but worse. I wouldn’t be surprised if it were well past expiration; so I can believe the other reviewer’s poisoning story. Moving on to the Lo Mein, I didn’t expect this to be easy to screw up. It’s not great either though, overbearing sweet, rice wine vinegar type flavor. I’ve eaten at the best of Chinatown as well as family restaurants of all quality levels all over Texas and Europe, and I’ve never been so disappointed. Don’t eat here.

I just want to let you know that my review of China Star was poor. I want to make sure that you do not get sick from eating food at this place. I recieived food poisoning from this location and had to go to the doctor to get well. I have also contacted the health department and will follow up next week. I want to make sure that the customers are aware of this problem
