First visit: the four of us were satisfied with our food. I had a grilled fish plate and was able to substitute charro beans in place of the fries. Fresh salad with fresh avocado slices. Nice! Tea’s not great. But the people are nice. Love the lady at front! Sweetheart! We’ll be back.

For starters, I would not recommend dining here to anyone. The food is unappetizing at best, and the service is just as bad. If you like margaritas, save yourself the trip and go somewhere worth the money. I paid $ 12.50 for the worst margarita I have ever tasted. I had a poor experience here, and will not be coming back.

You get what you pay for. Except I just wasted $ 50 on a dinner for 2 that was possibly the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. The margarita prices aren’t on the menu because they ream you when the bill comes. Service was horrible, I’m guessing the waiter thought I wouldn’t be a good tipper so we were completely disregarded, which I was offended by because I’m also a server.
I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but it was way to expensive for the quality of dining. Go down the road to Pappasitos where you can spend the same amount and have a better all around experience.

We have been coming here for several years. The food is delicious — they have the best salsa I’ve ever had. This is a family-​owned and run business. The service is good, and the prices are reasonable!

Great place for a good margarita without paying an arm and a leg! Their happy hour last pretty much all day which works (well if you’re a lush such as myself). The food is pretty good as well.

I didn’t like any of the food at all. It’s nothing like the one on little york. I was really disappointed. I didn’t even eat my food. I should of asked for a different plate it was terrible. I give it 2 stars since the margaritas were very good. And karaōke night was fun.

Visited this restaurant twice. Once for lunch and once for breakfast. On both occasions, the food was very salty. When I pointed it out the first time, the owner apologized and said she would tell the cooks. When I mentioned it on the second visit, she responded that I was the only one complaining, which, of course, is the perfect customer service response a restaurant guest wants to hear. Not going back.

Love the happy hour til 8pm! Large margaritas in different flavors cheap. Food is better than most. My bf is from the valley and this has become his favorite almost like home restaurant.

Great food from North Mexico. The staff is very friendly and the food taste different from other Mexican restaurants, they say it’s because they are from the North… I believe it.
I had the tamales, very good masa and the filling was delicious. Will order from them again. The lady in the front is very friendly.

Nice staff, food yuk, still on the lookout for good mexican food. Unilocal wants me to type more or this will only be a tip. Problem is when I spend the time to write a review and the owner of the business can complain and all of a sudden it violates the terms of service and they pull it. Sadly this has happened more than once.

We love this place– especially for lunch. The food is good and the staff is always great, and fast! I never have to worry about my husband being late from lunch. Prices are very good for what you get and there is just a really nice feel to the place:) we will keep going.

The absolute worst cheese enchiladas I have ever had and I have eaten them all over the Houston Area. The chips taste old and the refried bean taste sour. The manager or owner actually argued with me and told me I was wrong.

The food is still great. The people are still wonderful I am now in a wheelchair for arthritis. Tonight I went for takeout. Had to have soeone drive me. They helped me in and took my order out for me. I deeply appreciate their consideration. Thank you so much

Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was nicely decorated, but the bathrooms were dirty and the food was very bland. We ordered chalupas and Migas with ham. However, the tortillas were well prepared.

Made a trip here for Cinco De Mayo. and this place is great! It’s nice to have some good Mexican food nearby and not have to wait for an hour like at Pappasito’s! I had their Tacos Al Carbon and it tasted very fresh… The service was great and my boyfriend loved their Michelada’s! Luckily I live close so I can go back. and often!

So I came here because one of the tips called it authentic Mexican food. This person does not know what that is. This is classic tex mex (which I love tex mex) but this is not good tex mex. I got a sampler plate so I could try a variety of items. The enchilada had a foul flavor. The fajita meat was ok but far from good. My wife had a taco and said it had a good flavor but didn’t like that there were pieces of potato in it.
We are big fans of Mexican food but most likely wont come back here.
On the pro side the service was great and I have no complaints on that and the prices are very reasonable.
