HEB Lake Houston

I used the bakery for my sons first birthday. Considering I wanted something very simple I did not think I needed to use one of the more expensive bakery’s, I thought wrong. I ordered chocolate cake with white cream cheese icing the only writing was supposed to be a big black one on the top. I also ordered plain cupcakes that were also meant to be plain. The lady had asked me what the theme was and I told her we were having a mustache, little man party. I told her I did not want any color or anything on the cake or cupcakes. I had ordered stuff to add myself. My husband went to pick everything up and did not check to see what the cake looked like before leaving HEB. When he arrived with them the front of the smash cake had all of the icing slid off and they had decorated the cake and cupcakes very poorly… Not at all what I had asked for. Although it all tasted good It looked like a five year old had decorated then in red green and yellow icing… Not at all what I had expected. Very disappointed in the service and the manager was not helpful at all when I called to complain. I will never use the bakery for anything important again!
