Really liked this place. Much more than a sandwich shop. Brought the family and there was something for everyone. Price was amazing.

This particular Jason’s Deli is on Kingwood Dr. but a little off the beaten path. It is far enough away from I-69/Hwy 59 that most of the customers either love or work in Kingwood. I’ve only eaten here for lunch. They have never been so busy that I have difficulty finding a seat. As a Native Texan, I understand this is a Texas Deli. If you are a Yankee, this place isn’t a «deli» as you know it. I’ve been fortunate enough to eat at a real deli in the Northeast and, alas, Jason’s Deli is no comparison. Everything might be bigger in Texas, but bigger isn’t always better(it pains me to say that out loud). The food is prepared fresh when you order it. They have the typical sandwiches we all expect in a deli. However, they also have a very good salad bar and pretty good soups too. Plus, how can you argue with free ice cream at the end of your meal? With that being said, the customer service here is good. You can order catering online and earn Deli Dollars which can earn you free food down the road. Did I mention I’m eating free today with my Deli Dollars? So, come on in, enjoy the food, and take it for what it is… A Texas Deli with decent food… and free ice cream. If you found this review to be useful, funny, or cool, please let me know below. Thanks for reading.

Love Jason’s love the healthy alternatives. The California Club is absolutely delicious with organic blue corn chips with fresh salsa. Everything on the menu is just great and the oatmeal cranberry cookies are so amazing. We always get a fresh fruit platter with creamy fruit dip. You will definitely feel good after you eat here instead of bogged down.

I know most Jason’s Delis are pretty much the same. One thing that can set one apart is the free icecream. At many locations it’s icy and gritty. Not here! Here it’s creamy, light, and almost fluffy. I also like how Jason’s Deli clearly labels vegetarian items and has a decent variety of vegetarian menus options to pick from. I usually get the spinach very wrap. It’s got spinach, pick, guac, and melted cheese in a tortilla. Simple but tasty.

Place is awesome. Love the tasty low calorie options. The Mediterranean Wrap is probably my favorite, but the Quinoa Salad is great as well.

This place is average. It’s clean, reasonably priced and my kids get free fro-yo. They have good sandwiches and decent desserts. The salad bar is always stocked but you have to purchase protein separate. Breakfast options are okay, but nothing to write home about. All in all its good if you’re looking for a quick bite that’s not fast food.

My husband and I love Jason’s deli! The club royal is my personal favorite but their turkey wrap, club sandwich, French onion soup are equally as wonderful! I recently tried their pit pie soup and love it as well! Their salad bar could use a little help but other than that the food is very good. I just wish it didn’t cost me $ 8 to have it delivered(and that’s before a tip) especially because I live less than 5 mins from the Kingwood location.

I visited the Kingwood, TX Jason’s Deli to get 4 orders of their fabulous organic vegetarian vegetable soup. I’m a vegetarian who eats their soup and nutty mixed up salad all the time. The greens are always fresh and the soup is flavorful with lots of veggies and the service has been great too. I ordered my 4 bowls of soup and asked for a container(I normally ask for 2, but I thought the policy changed so I only asked for one) for the mini cornbread muffins. Surprisingly, the cashier asked me how many containers I needed and didn’t bat an eye when I said 2. He politely handed me the containers and told me to have a good day. I was able to fit four muffins per soup into the containers without crushing the little muffin tops. I have only been to this location twice because I forget they are there(near Steinmart), but I will be frequenting them from now on. Their excellent service and great food have made me a loyal customer.

The Jason’s Deli in Kingwood has always had great customer service, well-prepared orders, and very clean interior. Can get pretty busy during lunchtime so plan accordingly.

Im from Ohio and I have been searching for a deli that can make a Corned beef sandwich the way they make them back at home. This Deli Is It! It would have been 5 stars but it took 3 visits to perfect it. The first sandwich didn’t have enough mustard, the second sandwich bread was toasted too hard, but the 3rd sandwich was a Work of Art! They were Very attentive to the changes I requested. My host was Chance on 2 of my visits and he is Amazing! Funny and knowledgeable about the foods offered. What really sealed the deal for me was the Free ICECREAM! !!! You can’t go wrong with free stuff :) The Restaurant was Clean, the Staff was Friendly, and the Food was Great! I will Definitely be going there today for Lunch!!!

We were greeted when we walked in which was nice. I ordered a Ruben-corn beef with cheese sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing. The sandwich was a nice size but it had too much sauerkraut. That was all I could taste. I paid extra for chips and guacamole. I was soo disappointed. The guacamole was very good but they gave me small bits of chips. Like all the chips at the bottom if the bag. My mom got the salad bar. She enjoyed it a lot. The salad bar has organic items on it like the lettuce carrots etc. That’s a plus. This is in a residential area so I’m sure it’s a lots of locals. It was Blah! I would go back to eat the salad bar.

All right, recent visits have made me raise the rating. Today was the thing that moved them back up to the respectable AOK rating. The Veracruz sandwich wowed me as did the attentive care I got from the team. I did get frustrated because their salad kiosk didn’t read my credit card, but if it had, I would not have gotten the sandwich because I would not have seen the sign for it until it was too late. Anyway, the facilities are not yucky. My fellow reviewers have commented on cleanliness, but that has not been an issue for me. The staff has been more miss than hit, but that seems to have improved. I have really not had any problems with their food. It’s good, solid Jason’s Deli favorites. So, I’m removing them from my Skip It list and they’re back on my regular rotation for lunch. Cool.

Ahhhh… Jason’s deli. This location being that its in kingwood you would think it’s clean, floors are dirty seemed as if staff is careless. Ok now when I was getting my order in of course I get a trainee and 2 other staff members had to help him, I ordered a to build sandwich simple 9 grain artisan(def. not artisan bread) roasted turkey cheddar cheese which I only got 1 slice and mayo(I said extra on the mayo and I got a tab bit) very disappointed in my sandwich which coasted close to $ 10. Not worth it. I also ordered a broccoli cheese soup which is one of my favorite soups did not taste cheesy at all it was more like cream and broccoli where was it? Dispointed being my first time here.

Best deli ever. Haven’t been here for years, as we have moved away, but the quality has not changed a bit. I made a point of stopping here for lunch recently and was not disappointed. Some of the menu items have been updated, but I was able to order my old favorite chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, which was delicious.

After our last visit with the kids, this place deserves another star. The kids all enjoyed their food. The salad bar was being attended and restocked. The quality was what we expected.
