Pretty good BBQ. It’s not as good as Rudy’s or Mikeska’s, but for Houston, it’s alright. A bit on the pricy side for what you get, but if you eat a lot of sides, it might be worth it.

Wife got the Carolina Pulled Pork dinner… we are from South Carolina, and this is an ok attempt at bbq from back home. Her sides were Mac & Cheese, Potato Salad. Both were decent, but the portions were very small. I got the Baked Potato«all the way» and I asked for some Jalapeño cut up on top, and one of the girls at the to go counter hooked me up. I enjoyed the tater, and if you are in a rush I recommend Spring Creek. But, if you have the time… go down the road to Tin Roof, sit down inside and enjoy some excellent TXBBQ.

Decent bbq. Lunch plate is less than 10 bucks and I got 5 ribs with that. It says two sides but the cashier says its really unlimited sides unless you substitute the two sides for a single premium side. Just go back and ask for a new plate. You scoop it yourself. They come by with fresh bread every 5 minutes or so. It tasted a little undercooked but it was so fresh it tasted awesome nonetheless. They bake it right there in the dining area. No free ice cream when I went. The servers were really helpful and friendly. They have a side room that can be used for gatherings and luncheons.

I don’t remember the quality of the meats here to have been so poor. The sausage is nearly identical to Eckridge farms, which if you are familiar with it, is processed filler meat. The ribs were ok. Tender enough, but not falling off the bone. The flavor was nothing to brag about, almost absent. The turkey was par with grocery store deli meat. Chicken was dry, and this time through, we didn’t eat the brisket(in the past it was decent). I am so uninspired by our recent visit, that I am now going to search elsewhere for quality BBQ. It was good while it lasted. So long Spring Creek, it was nice knowing you.

Take out staff is pleasant and helpful. Wait times a re little long, it’s BBQ. Its already cooked, why does it take so long to cut it, portion it and put it in a box. As with all Spring Creek’s the side dishes are horrible. Just order a baked potato and dress to satisfaction.

Way too $$$$ manager is rude New people every week, not management. Bread is good, good amount. Bbq good, bring magnifying glasses, it will taste better that way.

The food wasn’t that good this time. The biscuits were burned. The brisket was dry. Had to load it down with BBQ sauce. The young man handling the meat and the young lady handling the sides were put out that we asked for food. They were both appeared to be in high school and obviously didn’t like their jobs. Oddly the bus boys who were also in high school seemed happier to be there.

I think this place is pretty underrated. I’ve gotten takeout twice in the past couple of months and everything was fantastic. The brisket was super tender and the bbq sauce is amazing. I’ll probably dine-in next time so we’ll see how that goes. Prices are pretty average for what you get. I’ll continue to be a customer here.

I’m new to Texas and this place was my first BBQ experience since my arrival. Went there for the 4th of July and the staff was super friendly and very chipper even though they were working that day. The food is phenomenal and you get unlimited sides. The best part is the smell of the freshly baked bread which they walk around and offer every few minutes for free. I’ve been trying to go there at least once per week since because I am hooked. The last time I went they walked around handing everyone a free cup of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream… as if I couldn’t love the place ever more!

We went back here for the 2nd time a few weeks ago and had a way better experience than the 1st time. It was a calmer night compared to our 1st visit, which was Spirit night for the school. The food is delicious! The customer service was great as well!

I knew that coming to Texas we would have to try some real BBQ at some point. So i was very excited to come check this place out. I ordered the ribs and got the sauce on top. The second i put a rib in my mouth(TRAGIC) i knew it was a mistake. It wasn’t like anything i had tasted, sweet, but not a good way, and greasy. I didn’t want to finish my meal, so i quietly and slowly piked at the other items on my tray and when we left i stopped at a fast food joint. So disappointing.

We have been here before and were very pleased. A bit of a disappointment this time. Ribs had little meat and chicken was very dry. Beef and turkey work great. Must’ve been an off night

Good bbq. Prices are a little steep but you get unlimited sides so you can definitely get your money’s worth. You walk in, grab a tray and order and they give you your food right there, Then pay and go sit down wherever you want.

I love the chopped baker combo! The warm rolls are always fresh. Cobbler w/Blue Bell vanilla ice cream is always a great dessert. Never disappointed

The bbq is fabulous but my favorite is the peach cobbler. Make sure you leave room! Great place for families and large groups. Very kid friendly and the staff is always nice.

Really good BBQ here and love the fried okra. The stuffed potato is awesome and you cannot go there without having their peach cobbler and ice cream. Another great thing eating here is you will never run out of warm rolls as they come around constantly with them:.

OK endless sides. Only saving grace. BBQ however is fake smoked. Overpowering and does not settle in stomach well. Bring the tums or go to tin roof across the street. You can hear bands there and the bathrooms. Well go to tin roof and see

I was shocked… I don’t normally like this place… but for some unkknown reason the food was great the day we went… I had brisket and sausage plate, the brisket was moist and tender… sausage was yummy too… 2 friends also went, and they had no complaints about the quality of the food… It has not been this good since they opened… someone give them a pat on the back, I hope it stays good…

Good BBQ, Unlimited Sides, and Refills. You can get it all for under $ 13, depending on the entrée you order. The only thing additional would be if you wanted to order one of their desserts. The service was extremely friendly, their warm, fresh-baked rolls are a nice complement to the meal. Great for kids as well because even if they are picky eaters, you can get them BBQ chicken and let them pile on the macaroni and cheese! If I lived closer, I’d definitely make a habit out of coming here!
