Texaco Humble

A little nervous reviewing this gem of a gas station for fear I will have to wait in a long line for breakfast. Its a regular gas station. Nothing special. Inside however, is a mexican grill and cart in the front corner with usually two Mexican ladies. I normally wouldnt have ever bought food from a gas station but it looked so clean and they reminded me of my mom so I gave them a try. They make fresh handmade corn tortillas and the best breakfast tacos you can get anywhere around. I have stopped and bought a dozen variety tacos to share with co workers several times since. They all enjoy them and eat them up. When asked where I got them I tell them the gas station! To their amazement and surprise. Lol. Usually met with a grin and nervous smile but I mean they have gotten used to the idea now. The tacos are really really good and really full! They sell lunch too but I usually only can make it in for breakfast. They sell tamales that are really good. I’ve had their enchilada plate and guisado lunch plates as well which were good but the breakfast is the best.
