I had the taco Tuesday special their chicken and fish tacos are amazing. I love how healthy and tasty the tacos are!

I was excited when this place opened because there’s not much fresh food and/or food diversity in this area. Thai, Indian, and Mediterranean flavors, yogurt sauces, vegetables, etc are all up my alley! But I’ve eaten here 3 times over the past year, and all 3 times I got sick to my stomach very shortly thereafter(I’ll spare you the details). The first time I didn’t make the connection, the second time I thought it was just a coincidence, and the third time… well, let’s just say I have finally learned my lesson and won’t be returning.

I paid a visit to thatburrito tonight, my second time since they’ve been open. The first time, was about three weeks ago. Staff was friendly, but I have to say that food wasn’t up to par with pricing. Three weeks ago, before I got half-way finished with my burrito, it tore at the bottom, and all I had was a mess. Fast forward three weeks ago to today. I went in tonight, and it took about 3 minutes to be waited on. Take note, there was no one ahead of me. There were two girls, one cooking, and the other doing whom knows what. Once she waited on me, got all of the ingredients mixed up in a bowl. Once she goes to wrap the burrito, the WHOLE thing splits longitudinally down the middle. She then proceeds to PICKITUPANDWRAPIT for me. She seriously wasn’t thinking of giving me that mess for the $ 12 I just paid? I asked her to re-do it. THREETIMES before finally getting it right. I honestly think if this place sticks with its current business model… Employees whom don’t care, food that has bland taste, they will go right out of business. At least with Chipotle or Freebirds, you get your options for less, and the food is much more tasty. I definitely think there are much better options for burritos. Cheers, Sean

Visited on 5÷21÷16 and had a burrito bowl while my husband had the nachos. The food was average– queso was bland, meat was a little stiff– but the price was RIDICULOUS! We paid $ 30 for a bowl, nachos and 2 drinks. A scoop of guac was $ 3 so we basically paid for a half dozen avocados. It’s clear that profitability is more important than taste here. The service wasn’t too bad but it wasn’t anything I’d brag about. The staff was friendly and courteous because they had to but, again, nothing spectacular. The likelihood of us going back is very, very slim. The price of the food vs the quality does not add up. If the food was tastier, more flavorful and the staff was more attentive we’d give it 5 stars and price wouldn’t be an issue. Hopefully the leadership team reads this feedback and acts on it.

The best breakfast tacos!!! This place beats anywhere downtown. The best Barbocoa and turkey breakfast tacos. We go every weekend and it is always amazing!

Went this morning for breakfast. It was goooood, we had the breakfast tacos. I’m not a fan of turkey bacon but what they use was ok. Would like the option of real bacon someday. We will going on Tuesday evening for taco Tuesday. Big difference from our first couple visits to today. Hoping For the same on Tuesday.

This place was amazing. The employees are nice. They have a very cool environment. We were in the area and decided to try this place. My family and I were very happy with this place. The first of its kind for sure. This place is very professional. The food was amazing, so fresh, I would love to come back to this place again.

Stopped by this place because I was attracted to their logo design on their signage. I think the next time I go in, it’ll only be for their cupcakes–

Was a fan of Chipotle until I went here. The flavor of the meat is delicious and different. Nice smokey flavor. The gentlemen helping us on our first time let me and my wife try the different items. Give them a try if you want something better than Chipotle. You will not be disappointed.

The fish tacos were so good!!! I love their ranch sauce. The sauce on the tacos was super spicy but I think I’ll ask for it without the sauce next time. I was surprised by the amount of fish inside the tacos… Big chunks! Loved every bite of it.

Pretty good place in Humble to grab some burritos. Just moved to the area and was looking for something quick but tasty. The tortillas they use are delicious and taste home made, not sure whether they are or not. The ingredients aren’t always fresh, or don’t always taste fresh but this isn’t a bad thing. They put everything into a bowl and mix it before wrapping it into the tortilla. One thing I have noticed is that the rice always looks and has somewhat tasted overcooked, but I’m not that picky. All in all, a decent place and I come back here when the mood strikes. Parking is easy, service is good, and cleanliness is good.

So darn good! We are a big time Chipotle lovin family and I have to say that Thatburrito has them beat. You can really taste the freshness in their ingredients and it’s clear that they are passionate about what they do. Staff was super friendly and service was very fast. I’ll be coming back here for my burritos moving forward! Try the Steak burrito, you won’t regret it! Yum!

Love this place! I have food allergies and cannot have flour tortillas or cheese but love burritos. Here, I got a delicious burrito bowl that was Thai inspired. It had fresh lettuce, garbanzo beans, Asian slaw, bean sprouts, blackened shrimp and a spicy Thai sauce! I am so happy to have such a good spot close to my home. They start serving breakfast this weekend! On top of it, the service is fast and friendly!

So much better than Chipotle. Ingredients are all fresh and definitely a place you want to come for great tacos. I had the fish tacos on flour tortillas. Delicious!

Thatburrito catered our luncheon today and let me tell you how amazing this food is. I am chipotle fan and this is my first visit to Houston and this place has changed my perspective on fast food burritos. I had the beef and it was seasoned well, tender and all of the correlating toppings were fresh! Oh! There is more! They also offered homemade cupcakes which are delicious. I barely had enough room, but I struggled to devour a moist red velvet cupcake. I didn’t expect to eat burritos and cupcakes today, but I’m sooooo glad I did. I’ll be sure to workout later, but for now I’m anxious to come back and visit!

Taking me back about 3 years, I am sitting around, talking with friends, eating our normal Chipotle burritos and by 2 bites, I am done with my guac. I sit, ponder and think, man, would it be great if a burrito company would actual mix the ingredients together and actual make your tortilla fresh, not some plastic wrapped, preservative laden tortilla. My friends scoffed at me and said I was crazy. I continued to eat the sad burrito layer by crappy layer. Monday(November 23) I searched and found ThatBurrito. Seems like a low-key, little and local restaurant. I’ll take a peek inside. I was warmly greeted by the guy running the place. He went over all of the ingredients. Even give me a taste of their beef and chicken. Wow! All I can say is WOW! The meat took me back to Easters where the BBQ was fresh and right off the pit. You could taste the wood flavors in the meat. I was amazed. Then he ran me through all of the toppings, which, of course are all freshly made and chopped that morning. He then shows me his tortilla maker… YES, a freaking Tortilla maker in the store. Am I dreaming? Has my dream burrito restaurant come to life? YES! Yes it has. They even mix all the ingredients in a freaking metal bowl. I swear this guy was in the conversation I had years back… Will I come again? YES! Will I try a new burrito? YES! Will I venture to their desserts? YES! If you are in the area, you will not be disappointed. Pricing is pretty on point for the other chain burrito restaurants in the area. They even have 2 different sizes on the guac you can put in your burrito… I am still shocked that this place is real(pinching myself).

Very good staff, very very good food. Vegetarian option is very good. Thai glazed tofu is what I had and was just delicious. Very fresh ingredients(including the mint leaves). Friend told me that the meat was very well cooked as well. Nothing is loaded with salt like chipotle, it has flavor instead. The owner was so nice he even gave me free dessert.

Have you ever been to a place that was so good that you ended up going several times in the week or even more than once in the same day because you just couldn’t get enough? That’s been my experience with ThatBurrito. The first one that I had set the bar rather high. Wait… I’m getting ahead of myself. Let me start by saying that the place is clean enough to eat off the floor(not that I’d ever recommend or condone doing so). According to management the décor is still a work in progress. Going back to the original conversation, I had That Thai. The thing about That Burrito is all of the burritos have«That» in the name. What led me to get That Thai is I’ve had a taste for Thai ever since the Thai place by my house closed. I also love burritos. Why not fuse the two and enjoy the benefits? As soon as I bit into it I knew I was a customer for life! I had mine with the chili glazed shrimp and it worked perfectly together with the slaw, mint, and sauce that’s used. The best way for me to describe it was as a blessing to my soul. It was that good. Later in the week I had the Who That, which was a take on Cajun flavors, and it was a worthy sequel. I’ve brought my mother and closest friends here and I’ve managed to lure their tastes away from the likes of Chipotle and Freebirds. For that matter, I can’t even go to taquerias and not think to myself that I really want That Burrito instead. One of the things that’s kept me coming back is the commitment to fresh ingredients and transparency. The kitchen is work open and you can look at the veggies, salsas and even the tortillas and see how fresh it is. I don’t always crave burritos… but when I do, it’s That Burrito. Stay full, my friends.

Stopped by here for a quick bite on a Sunday evening. The signage to this spot is colorful and nicely done, makes a good first impression. When you walk in thatburrito is setup much like Chipotle or Uberitto, contemporary décor with metal and modern touches. Looked good so my expectations were raised.(4⁄5) They are a little different from both these spots because they have a some international burritos like Indian Tikka, Mediterranean, and Thai. The guy who greeted us at the counter was very helpful and provided excellent service throughout the order process.(4⁄5) We decided to try out the Indian Tikka Burrito. The thing I really liked was that they take all your burrito ingredients and put them in a bowl. Then before putting it on your tortilla they mix them up nicely so you get an even mix on each bite. Unfortunately our burrito wasn’t very tasty. I didn’t modify like I usually do and went with their standard mix of ingredients in the burrito. I wanted to like this place a lot because they did everything else so nicely but the food wasn’t very good.(2⁄5) only because the idea of mixing the ingredients to in a bowl before putting on a tortilla is fantastic. Overall this place is very nicely done but the not very tasty food makes this a 3 out of 5 for me. Will stop by one more time to see if they do the standard burrito well and update the review.

thatburrito is similar to those other burrito places like Chipotle or Freebirds in that you get to choose what you want put in and go down the line until you hit the register. What makes them different however is the variety which is a big plus in my book. My only complaint would be the lack of the option of getting tortilla chips as a side item. In addition to your regular meat staples such as chicken and steak, they have ground turkey, fish, and even tofu. Their ingredients are also very fresh and everything about their food just screams quality. The workers there are very nice and accommodating and I believe the owner himself was able to talk with us and gave us samples.
