Time Out Tavern

I went here last night with a friend and had a really good time. It’s casual but I dare say upbeat due to all the lights and glowing things, for lack of a better word haha. The bartenders there are friendly and my date sent a couple welcomed drinks to our initial one after he got off his shift. I haven’t tried the food here but I hope to go again soon.

If you live in the Atascocita/​Humble area and go anywhere other than Timeout, you are in high school and have a fake ID. This place is the bees knees. The kitchen… Just wow it honestly might be the best restaurant in Atascocita as well as bar. Chicken fried chicken. Are you serious?! Incredible. Fried mushrooms? Just stop. So good. Only place you can get timely and pleasant service in Harris county. Guaranteed. Shuffleboard, darts, pool. Oh and the shuffle table stays waxed and clean. ONLY downfall is my girlfriend (as well as other girls I know) don’t enjoy the smoke. «I just washed my hair» well idgaf it’s a hell of a lot better than freakin Mojos. Place is a joke. I love going to bars but have never found one I can stick to until a friend recommended time out tavern. This is the only bar I go to now. Amazing food, friendly staff, great prices, and I always have a good time here.

I love coming here. Great service, great people, great food, (love the steak) and great atmosphere. Never a sad place for me and my wife. She loves to get a blueberry muffin shot. They have a jukebox that can be controlled with your phone, which is really awesome. Will always come back.

Best servers and staff! The food is great too! I have tried just about everything on the menu. Some of my favorites: Dales chili, slap yo momma chips, time out salad, deviled eggs with bacon and jalapeños. this place!

Nice place, very friendly staff, good drinks, darts and one pool table. The downfalls are that there is relatively limited seating and it’s a smoking place.

I went twice in January. There was a young waitress who gave a glass of water to my boyfriend and when he gave it to me she told him she had brought it for him (with an ice cold voice) and she repeated it at least three or four times. What the hell?
The fried pickles were good. The drinks are okay. I will go back, whether there’s a mad waitress or not.

I just recently visited Texas and found this place nice. There was one lady in particular who was really sweet. She walked around getting empties and getting more drinks for people. It was also a plus with all the tvs

Great hang out for all ages, a little to smokey for my taste. They have great specials everyday, it’s way better than other specials i have seen, it’s almost like being in college again on how cheap the drinks are. When that place fills, it fills fast. Not a lot of seating room unless you go outside. Very friendly staff and drinks come fast. If you can mind the smoke it’s a great little hangout close to home!

I have only visited this bar once, but it was a very pleasant experience. We had an after party there, which followed another event we went to. The outdoor patio was built and in place, and it was a nice evening out. I did not order food, although a couple of people at our table did. So can’t speak for the food. The drinks are reasonably priced and as Chris noted in the his first review for this establishment, there are lots of recreational things to do on the inside, plus good music! I am not a smoker, so this is probably not somewhere I would go often. I do know they have a very loyal «neighborhood» following, and that’s the kind of place it is, and what I think they want their place to be. If you are a smoker, like pool, darts and that type of thing, I think you’d LOVE this place!!! I would normally give this a 3 star, but they are having a community benefit event for a friend of ours this Saturday, who was a frequent patron there. And because I truly do believe this is the kind of community loyalty that Time Out Tavern is about, I am giving them 4 stars for their generosity!

I love this place. Great friendly people. One of the only bars I know of that has my favorite rum (Gosling). Not to mention I am a smoker and it’s still nice to know there is a «BAR» that you can actually enjoy a drink, eat, play trivia, and smoke! Thank you! Good food too…

With the downfall of Norton’s those in the Humble/​Atascasita area will be pleased to know there is a replacement.
Lots of HD TV’s playing every game you can imagine. Friendly & quick service, cheap beer, decent bar food, darts, shuffleboard, golden tee… just about everything you’re looking for in a sports bar. Beers are $ 1.50 drafts and $ 2 domestic bottles. It’s a very clean establishment and they are in the process of building an outdoor deck which will be great because the reason it gets three stars instead of four is that it is way too smoky in there. I hate coming home smelling like an ashtray.
All in all a-​ok, and having been a few times now it seems to be consistent service as well.
