Nice customer service. Cracked my cellphone screen the day after I ordered a case on Amazon that arrived four days later. Tile floor + smartphone= Sadness. So I went to check out their advertised screen repair service. It turns out that you buy a box that gets mailed out and is Not Cheap for letting go of your cell for a week and Really Not Cheap for letting go of your cell for two days. As I procrastinated before going on a four-day trip, and was not about to let go of my phone immediately, the salesperson offered to sell me the box and I could ship it later. I opted for the generic plastic cover stickie to prevent the cracks from deepening, chunks of screen glass falling out, and gambling with a sliced cheek or finger next time I want to chat. The salesperson was really helpful and offered to put the cover on for me(I took him up on that because me+adhesive=fingerprints, flyaway hair, etc.) It wasn’t pretty(he warned me), but it has done the job. My previous experiences at this Radio Shack have been positive too– the staff has been refreshingly candid about the products available and seem to know their stuff. I have only gone there for accessories, not major electronics purchases(smaller selection).
