I have been coming here and I started with Jessica Syper(Jess). I love the way she listens to you and does the best color… I got a few pictures to show her what I like and ask her opinion about what will suit my hair… She is fun, sweet, amazing, bubbly, talkative… She does amazing hair !! I love her and I always come to her… The salon is very clean, the staff is super friendly, it’s give very happy and positive energy to you and makes your day happy

This is for the Parktowne Village location. sure where to begin. The experience was pretty bad. I was there 5.5 hours for a partial highlight color and cut. When making the appointment, I specifically ask for a stylist experienced with curly hair. I was told the manager would be doing my hair but when I got there I was assigned to someone else. I normally get foils, she suggested that I try the Bally(not sure about the spelling). I was a little leary during the process but I was trying to give this new process a chance to win me over. Problems began when the stylist started blow drying my hair. It was clearly evident that she had no idea how to deal with my hair. I’d hate to even think how she’d handled my hair if it was thick and coarse! Anyway, after a few attempts to explain how to dry my hair, I just threw my hands up and said«I’m done!» I come another day for a haircut. I began putting my hair up and grabbed the hat I had worn when I came in. The manager came over, I explained the situation and she could see I was looking at «HOTMESS»!! She asked if I was happy with the color, but how c old I tell it was still wet, the front was looking wild and crazy! Anyway a guy dried the front and another stylist finished it. Whew, still the fiasco continues. I’m 3.5 hours in and I don’t have that much hair. It’s long but not thick and treacherous! By the time I’m ready for the manager to cut my hair it’s almost 5:30 pm and the salon closes at 6 pm. I get a half-assed trim and $ 50 knocked off my $ 195 bill. 5.5 hours and a bad experience! ! By this time I realize the color is a total mess as well. However, she did manage to cover the gray… Now I’m going back on Monday to get whst I paid for. I can’t say I’m looking forward to going back but I’m not about to pay for the whole process again somewhere else.

Well this is an update… I still love my hair cut but my my roots still seem to be showing after the full highlight service I received… not too happy about that. I started to think that maybe because I used a Groupon that the service provided wasn’t as good as normal… unsure if I will keep my future appointment.

Haircolorexperts — Birkdale is a great place for cuts and color. The staff are skilled and well educated. The salon is pretty and clean. I am loyal to Tonya, but I have no doubt any stylist there is exceptional.
