Costco

Parking sucks but good organic selection, and one of the ladies at the optometrist counter is really rude and unhelpful. Wish I got her name but she turned her back on me and wouldn’t help me. The younger girl there was great. Note to employee don’t work customer service with a bad attitude.

They don’t have pumpkin pie right, crust under cooked, always for 10 yrs!!! Have to get my pie from Cerritos. I keep asking if they can cook the pie longer but no one listen. Next time u buy a pie the crust is still white raw. No quality control…

Parking is pretty bad regardless of the day/​time. A month ago I got a stuffed salmon with a future expiration date and when I opened the package, the smell that came out of it was putrid. Bought some hamburger buns the other day with a sale by date of ⁰¹⁄₁₃ and on the 15^{th 2}⁄₂₄ had mold in them. Both items were packaged by costco.

funny thing though, gas was 2.24 up in SF Bay area, how can it be 2.55 here?

oh well, can’t fret over that now, probably just gas tax money going to our crazy governor Brown and his stupid train project!
pooped in to get milk too, and it never ceases to amaze me how people are like fish when it comes to food «samples». Just put a tray out and it draws them like bait!
in any case, still a Costco fan, but will probably cut back a bit when they stop taking American Express cards in a few months. Just out of convenience.

Going to a Costco in another neighborhood is like going to someone else’s house. When i first got here, I was a little lost, but impressed that this Costco is noticeably newer than my local one. Inventory was tidy and everything was clean. However, after awhile, this Costco didn’t feel quite right after all. The demographics are different in every neighborhood, but the workers here didn’t seem to be as kind and helpful as mine. As I was standing in line, the couple of workers and transactions I observed in line were condescending to the Asian (Vietnamese) customers. Understanding that it could conceivably be frustrating to deal with inefficient customers all day long, but that’s their job, and it seemed very rude to me as an observer. I’ll stick to my own neighborhood.

Parking is really terrible durning even some non peak times. The workers have a strange «look how cool we are» attitude that has an arrogance about it. They almost seemed bothered with the customer presence. Long lines and bad attitudes don’t mix Costco. They are always having personal conversations in front of their guests that are at times unprofessional.
The place is kept clean and well stocked but just too busy unless you go during the week before noon. It’s too bad the business center down off of the 22 fwy and beach Blvd doesn’t offer more or I would go there instead. Writing this review made me bummed actually. THANKS COSTCO YOU ROCK!

This Costco is clean, well-​kept, and stocks everything you’d ever want or need. Love it! :) it can be crowded around prime times like on Sundays, but that’s Costco for you!

Why is it that every time I go to Costco I ended up spending at least $ 300 leaving with things that I initially didn’t come in for? Ah that’s right, it’s a steal! Always good deal for quality products. When it comes to customer service? You will be able to return unsatisfactory purchases without any questions asked! Has always been a 5 star for me since 2010. Costco, you are appreciated :)

Super busy on the weekends and holidays. Poorly designed parking lot makes parking a pain on busy days. Gas Station is very has a long wait during peak hours.

So this Costco is A-​OK.
The store itself is stocked well and the staff is helpful. Each Costco has their different merchandise and this one has really been stocking up on craft beer. You can even get a foam surfboard for around a 100 bucks, you gotta love Huntington Beach!
The major drawback is this store has a relatively small parking lot and the main entrance gets kinda clogged. I really think that there is an invisible barrier at the entrance that strips people of their common decencies and turns almost everyone into jerks. People cut each other off and don’t let anyone in… So my advice is expect it and have some extra patience, you’re gonna need it :-)

This is my favorite Costco so far! It is one of the newer ones so it is cleaner and bigger than the Fountain Valley one, and definitely 20x better than Garden Grove!
They sell a lot more organic foods and fruits here. I like the different variety they carry for the demographic in this area. They have healthier options in fresh foods and even frozen foods. The people are nice here too! I like the way they setup the store as well.
Gas is always a pain when there are long lines but Costco gas is so worth it! Sometimes! Lol. I go at ods hours like closing time, and that’s when you drive right in. Just filled up for only $ 35! Amazing!
Food court is outside and is pretty standard. If you noticed, they have improved on the chicken bake. It is a bit skinnier but longer which makes it easier to eat and also crunchier. I also like that there is an extra parking structure in case it is jam packed like today around the holidays. There are lots of places to go before or after around since it is located behind Bella Terra.

I was a big fan of these giant warehouses but I have to quit my membership recently. Any store I try the quality of the merchandise is the same, I mean it’s worse and worse. The bell peppers were thick and juicy before, now it’s thin and chewy. The avocado is always rotten before it’s ripe. Banana gets all the brown spots when the skin is still green. The garlic was harvested before its time (we can tell by all the damage inside each clove). Papayas from Hawaii is not cheap but I had to throw all away because it’s very bitter and seems not being able to ripe. Admame is worst in its kind…
I am thinking about Sam club even though I don’t like this Walmart owned warehouse and merely Chinese merchandises promotion at all.
I wonder if I am the only picky customer or people nowadays can eat whatever called ‘food’?

I love there gas prices and it’s better then cheap gas stations like arco or an off brand.
Also it’s good to go at anytime expect to wait 20 if there’s a big line and only like 10 mins if the line is 5 cars long, AND you get good gas at a low price.

Need to search n search… lines are long just like most other costcos but do move quickly.
What makes this costco unique is that they have a ton of samplers and tons of samples… but suspect that may contribute the place being so packed… other costcos have samplers but these samplers always have food ready n replenished. have not seen this in any other costco
This costco has tire center parking almost completely full… fyi costco does nitrogen fill for tires too…
Not all costco carry all product lines. For example snickers in bulk… turkey pinwheels etc etc. Aussie bites are not in all costcos either… this one seems extremely well stocked…
Only downsife to this costco is that parking was a real hunt. Cars on the prowl like vultures waiting for prey and this was 2 pm in the afternoon… cannot imagine what 5 or 6pm brings…
Most costcos need to open longer hours period… everybody likes costco n wanta the products they carry… am sure the staff is there anyways stocking so they should just have longer hours and rope off one side at a time…

«Use Costco Travel!» This is a beautiful, quiet, and relaxing hotel. We looked at this hotel and realized that it wouldn’t be in our budget, but then we realized that Costco offers travel packages for this hotel. That made it a much more reasonable option.
+The room was clean and comfortable, and had a nice little balcony.
+From the concierge to the restaurant staff, the service was friendly and professional.
+Valet is totally worth the $ 15 extra dollars per night. If you call ahead, they have your car ready and stocked with clean beach towels and cold bottled water.
+The food and drinks in the various hotel restaurants are delicious.
+The beach and pool are well kept.
+Costco Travel includes a free breakfast buffet every morning. They have a rotating menu, and it was very tasty. Great if you can get it included, but I wouldn’t consider it worth the $ 30 you have to pay otherwise.
–Food is great, but expensive! Consider renting a car so you can eat off the property (a nearby excellent restaurant in Monstera).
Overall, my gf and I had a great stay. The Orchid is expensive, but given the right deals it can be well worth it. We felt that Costco offered a great travel package to stay here.

The usual… amazing prices… but super crowded. Get ready to wait in line for a parking spot (word of advice, park a little away from the front of the store so you don’t run over any small children who are not being watched by their parents.
The costco gas station is pretty bad. As in always crowded, no matter what time of day. The best I’ve seen it is in the morning at about 930 am. But during lunch, forget about it.
I walk to this costco from work so it’s nice not to deal with the crowds in the lot but I still have the face the lines inside. And these costco crowds are not like other crowds… don’t know what it is but for some reason costco shoppers shop like it’s the end of the world. Racing through the aisles with carts full to the top of food and drinks, colliding carts around corners, and swarms of people around the sample stations.
What works best for me to prepare: plan for waiting in a long check out line and don’t get a cart unless you are absolutely sure you need it. It helps. Trust me.

First of all — parking. Bella Terra parking is kind of horrendous, and Costco doesn’t help. If you’re coming in off of Center Dr., please know that there is no stop sign for you upon entering off the street! You have the right-​of-​way, everyone else has to wait. If you are coming off the 405 S, stay in the lane you exit off of, follow the street to the right onto Center, and drive past One Pacific Plaza and the 24 Hour Fitness. Make an unprotected left into the center. This is the easiest way to get in, because you have the right-​of-​way, no stopping, as I mentioned. If you’re trying to leave — good luck to ya! I’d recommend going in the opposite direction, towards Edinger.
Don’t come on paydays or the weekends, unless you come early (before 11:30 AM). Otherwise it’s a mad house. Friday nights around 7:30 are usually pretty safe… I don’t know why I’m telling you this! Same deal goes for gas. It can get hectic in there… later is better. The pumps are open one hour after the warehouse closes down, every night. Again, come very early (6 AM) or very late (half hour before close). Also, at the pump — the hoses are extra long so you can get in any line and still reach your gas tank, no matter what side! Utilize this!
Produce is usually good. I’ve gotten a lot of produce from here, and there has been a time or two when my produce goes bad only within a day or two of purchase.
Refunds are a breeze. They will give cash. No receipt is no problem because they can pull up info using your Costco card!
Food court accepts card now! Watch out for assholes, they run rampant here. There is crushed ice or regular cubes to choose from — dope. If you get a chicken bake, hope it’s fresh and ask for a cup of Caesar dressing to dunk it in.
Still recommend price checking. Costco is usually the cheapest, with the bulk buying and such, but not always. 34 packs of water … 5 dozen eggs … 3 months worth of toilet paper at once … all worth it. Keep an eye out for sales, though! That’s when to strike. :D Also, if it’s near close, you might have to ask for a box if you need one (at the register). A lot of times they are put away already and it’s no fun carrying 50 lbs of oddly-​shaped fruit from the car to your house twenty times.

This Costco is so spacious! The parking lot is huge but weekends can get packed so you might have to stalk shoppers that are leaving the warehouse to find parking.
As with any Costco you go to, going down the aisle may be a struggle because there are always shoppers who aren’t really paying attention to the people around them and they block up the open space needed to maneuver this big ol’ cart I’m pushing.
Workers giving out samples look like death sometimes because they have to constantly repeat the same script over and over and deal with annoying customers who always ask «how long until it’s ready??» Ask them how their day is going! They also don’t care if you keep coming back for more samples (I’m looking at you lady at the Garden Grove location).
Checkout lines are always long too but it’s Costco so I’m kind of used to it. Definitely prefer this Costco over any other. You really don’t know what suffering at Costco is like until you’ve been to the locations in LA.

I have died and gone to Costco heaven!
This location blows any other out of the park and then some! I can’t believe this was my first time going! Of course all Costco’s parking setup sucks, theres no way around it! You just need to bring some patience with you: P
This location is HUGE! Also the lighting is a lot better, it doesn’t make you feel like your shopping in a basement, it’s bright and welcoming not to mention CLEAN! I didn’t feel like each aisle was cramped and you couldn’t get through with your shopping cart. Even though they were handling samples out the people weren’t trampling one another.
What I didn’t like is the pricing of the laundry detergent! The sign is marketed as 2 containers of detergent for X dollars! BUT… When I got to the checkout, I wondered why my bill was so high when I only had a container of Perrier, kid juice and Hawaiian rolls for $ 60.00! Before we left my mom and I both looked at the receipt and were charged $ 13.00 for each one! I went straight to the return line and took BOTH of them! No thank you, I will go to Walmart and buy a mega one for $ 10.00!
I didn’t try the food court so I can’t review it but this is my new favorite location and I’ll definitely be back!

I live in West Covina and I’ve been to this Costco twice in 4 months. Each time I’ve been here, it’s always been great. So far it’s looked like the other locations I’ve been to, there is nothing I can say in regards to anything negative about this place. Except the fact that the food place outside, there was no ice in both the fountain machines and their ice machine as well. Decided I’d go inside to look for some things to buy thinking within the next 45 mins I’ve used to be inside, they would at least refill the ice in which they didn’t. I went outside before I left and to my amazement. There was no ice still. Ugh. Ice compliments the whole drink! And drinking soda out of a fountain machine is not good at all. It’s not your average soda bottle where it’s been sitting in a fridge. Fountain drinks are way different and need that ice.
Anyway, I found something rather peculiar in this location while I was walking around, there was a pack of king crab legs or whatever for $ 199. When I saw that, it totally blew me away, that is way too much for crab legs, I went to the other side where they sold the king crab legs for $ 21 a leg and when I counted the legs in that pack I only counted about 8ish… still doesn’t calculate to $ 199 as what they advertised at $ 21 per crab leg.
Anyway as what I stated, this Costco is pretty good, the workers, sampler workers are good and nice. Would recommend this place to other people.
