We decided to eat here because it was late and only resturant open. Also had 4 stars ! well we werent to happy :(there was a party of about 25 next to us very loud, that was OK but it was the service that was Horibble ! she seemed stressed and unhappy :(when our order was brought out to us i asked for an extra basket for my son to share my frys. she brought another fry basket i was going to have to pay for … i told her she said on the house then … seemed rushed food was OK … i asked for extra ranch got only 2 for 3 people … then when i went to tip i asked to break the bill i had and she took the whole thing, i had to ask again we felt very rushed due to that big party mainley :(

Nothing to rave about. Cold French fries. Soggy fish. The burger tasted like the habit.

Burgers were pretty good. Homemade potato chips were really good. Crispy and light. Onion rings tasted good, but were a little greasy. Service was great.

I have been hear a lot and I have always loved the food but I don’t know if they changed something with the food but the wings weren’t breaded the way they use to be to much celery in the chili very disappointed in the change of chef. Sorry joes but you have lost a loyal customer

Like i mentioned on my previous review, that I was going to try the cowboy joe burger. And as I expected it taste delicious. The meat was just right. It had barbecue sauce and two onion rings. It was delightful. I was one satisfied customer. I order a sloppy joe and splinted with my daughter, she like it but I didn’t care to much for it. My son had a salad which he said was delicious. This place gets down on the burgers. There huge and delicious can’t wait to try there triple by pass. Also the girl that help us out, she was very attentive. Way to go!

Unreal juicy Lucy! HB Sleeps on this awesome spot so no long wait and great friendly service. It is very juicy, they also have awesome home made chilli very worth trying and throwing upon your fries! Do yourself a favor and go on a big workout then go in here with that monstrous appetite and take it out on a juicy made how you like it!

Stumbled upon this place on Superbowl Sunday! Here are the highlights: –Pudding Shots — pistachio with vodka and baileys $ 1, this is so good and cheap I could have gotten tipsy off of this if I wanted to. Definitely worth a try! –Lots of TV’s — perfect for superbowl Sunday or any sport! –Wings — so my bf loves wings, and on the menu, you can order wings — Either 6, 12, or 24 wings. Something like that. It’s by quantity and we ordered 6 wings. Turns out, they recently changed the menu and you only order a basket of however many wings. When the waitress came out with like, 12 wings, we told her we only got the 6 wings instead. And she said, «oh sorry, we recently changed the menu, we only have a basket of wings now, so I’ll only charge you the 6 wings!» So we got a bunch of wings for free! –Wings are spicy. I can’t remember exactly which flavor we got but I believe it was the spicy BBQ, but it does have a kick to it! –Onion rings on burger! So my bf got the burger with onion rings in it. Deadly, yes but it was PACKED. But they forgot the onion rings. My bf notified the waitress, and she apologized and told us she would get us the onion rings right away. And 2 chefs also came out to apologize about the burger! We thought that was so nice of them! –I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich because I was hoping to go for the healthier option, but honestly the food here is just not meant to be healthy! So next time I should just get one of their many, many burgers!!! –Great Happy Hour, even though we didn’t get to try it but we saw all of the signs for it, and it looks great! Good food, great service, and reasonable prices! We will definitely come back for more!

Great food, great location, great place for Trivia!!! We usually come here on Monday nights for trIvia. I just wish that they had their start time figured out! Sometimes it starts at 7:00 and sometimes it starts like 7:20. The questions usually range from geography-music-sports– history-etc. Pretty much a little bit of everything. There is no limit to how many team members you have, so may as well have someone that can represent every category. The food is delicious too. Mostly sandwiches and appetizer type food. The fries are VERY good. I just wish that they had dessert! Sometimes all I want is a bowl of ice cream. Onion rings are almost a good alternative. Sometimes it can be crowded for trivia, and we’ve had to wait an hour for food, but I’m usually too busy playing to notice. Very good spot!

Burgers were burnt. Wings came out over sauced on wing night. New cook messed up bad. So bad that my bro could not finish his burger. Though the server was attentive to our complaints.

came here because the guys wanted to go to a place with TVs and good burgers so I randomly Unilocaled this place. the place is pretty spacious. TVs all over so that’s good. — tater tots — so good and crispy!!! great with ketchup, ranch and pepper(I mixed in pepper with ketchup. I dip the ranch first, then ketchup, and then I eat it. lol I’m weird) — mushroom and swiss burger — the patty was so tender! very good. — philly cheesesteak — they give you a good amount of meat. it’s kind of bland and dry.(my other friend said the pastrami sandwich was better so if you’re deciding between these 2, get the pastrami) — chicken wings — crunchy and tender! yummmm must get — ABC burger — ¼lb burger with avocado, bacon and cheese $ 6.95… I wanted the ¼ to begin with but this wasn’t on the menu! after I ordered the philly, then I look up and there was a sign for this burger! I was going to get the Surfer Joe because it has avocado and bacon but it was ½lb so I didn’t get it. SADNESS! the ABC would have been a lot better than the philly

I don’t remember why I did not write this review sooner, but better late than never. I had to come by here due to the Juicy Lucy. I have an obsession with cheese and hamburgers. Put cheese in the middle and melt it inside? Even better! Sadly I don’t remember too many details as I had it a long time ago, but I did enjoy it! I don’t remember being in love with it as my expectations were set a bit high, but I did enjoy it and would order it again. We also had the wings and I liked them although my husband the chicken wing lover, was not impressed. My husband went with the Southwest Chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. We came back again recently, with another Entertainment coupon. Seven smackaroos off the bill. Buy an entrée and get one free up to seven bucks anyways. While I was going to get the Juicy Lucy again, my appetite was not that big and I was re-reading the fact that it is two quarter patties with cheese inside. I did not have an appetite for half a pound of meat alone on top of everything else. I decided to go with the tuna melt, and my husband had the open faced chili burger. It came with two quarter pound patties, each on a bun, SMOTHERED in chili with cheese and onions. Both our items came with sides and we both chose fries with the options we were given. We both really enjoyed our meals. While I would have given this place a three previously due to the lack of service, I have bumped it up due to the exceptional service this time. This waitress was much better than the last and much friendlier. Order was spot on, she conversed, and she was really on top of refills. This is a more simple place, with average décor and tables/seating, with some televisions, a small bar, etc. A nice little pub to hang out in. Simple menu but good. I will continue to come back.

My husband and I have been here a few times. The customer service is super friendly. The staff remembered us after just 1 visit. We ordered the Mo Chips(fried pepperoni), Juicy Lucy(cheese stuffed burger), Cowboy Joe(BBQ burger), and Spicy BBQ wings. The Mo Chips are crispy salty yummyness that pairs perfectly with a ice cold led beer. The Juicy Lucy was cooked perfectly. Both burgers were hand formed patties and huge. You can split 1 burger between 2 people. You had your choice of 3 sides of either shoestring fries, potato salad or coleslaw. The wings were crispy and meaty. The spicy BBQ wings were not spicy enough for my liking but still delicious. The menu has so much to choose from. I can’t wait to go back.

Unilocal challenge 201587⁄2015 *sing along time Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds* Picture yourself inside this diner With pizza and burgers with cheese Somebody takes your order, you answer quite slowly A burger with cheese stuffed inside Two patties together mashed with american cheese Towering with onions overhead Look for the burger with the cheese in her buns And eat it till shes gone Juicy Lucy in the diner with Joes Juicy Lucy in the diner with Joes Juicy Lucy in the diner called Joes Aaaaahhhhh… Eat at Joes is a perfect example of a hole in the ground that reminds me of a 3 some between The Regal Beagle, Merlottes and Big Als. It is situated in a old strip mall on Golden West and Edinger in HB specializing in a few beers on tap and dive bar food, offering a few TV and games for family fun. It is nothing special, and has no magical power to lure you in. The tables are old, the floor is old. If you just drive by or peek inside, chances are you will want to leave. But don’t let the foul looks scare you away. You just have trust Unilocal on this one. It is Really good, well at least the Burgers are. The only 2 reasons why I came here was because Steven & Shawna told me too and to meet Juicy Lucy. Whose J Lu? Well shes a ½ pound burger charred on the outside and stuffed with melted cheese that oozes out when you bite into it and topped with grilled onions served on a bun. She is a Native Minnesota piece of beef, who is quite famous and that is slowly making her debut out to the West. On mine I added lettuce and pickles. My burger was cooked medium well, with a little pinkness. My only complaint was the bun was cheap and the burger was dry. A little ketchup saved J Lu, but she is usually naked, no sauce, only grilled onions. The J Lu was very filling. For once a burger that stuffs my belly. I even had a few bites left over for my 4 legged friend who was sleeping in the car. To turn this into 5 stars, change the bun and soak it with a homemade Thousand Island. The nachos are nothing special. Not very cheesy at all. Think fried tortilla chips, shredded cheese and overcooked ground beef. The chips are good, Nachos just say no. Just say Yes to one of their burgers. Fries are not to special. If they were thick cut instead of frozen, they be better. I believe you can substitute the fries for a salad or chips. I am a fan of Joes and the Juicy Lucy! Review # 588

Came into this sports bar today to try one of their burgers and ended up getting the Frisco Melt. Good lord… this thing tasted like it was homemade in your backyard bbq grill. Its the best melt I’ve had since the Habit’s Santa Barbara melt. Almost better in my eyes. The patty was juicier than your mama’s Butterball ham on a Christmas day! The flavors were fantastic.

I LOVETHISPLACE! I’ve been driving by here for years and even more so since they put the Hobby Lobby in this parking lot. I bookmarked it a couple months back and have been meaning to come by and check it out. The night started with my husband and I doing some post wedding shopping at Bed, Bath, and Beyond with my mother-in-law in tow. We sat around trying to figure out where to eat that wouldn’t break the bank in the area until a light bulb went off(DING) Eat at Joe’s. So, we hightailed it over, walked in and took our seat. Parking is a breeze. We walked in around 8:30 on a Saturday night to only 6 people sitting between 2 different areas. They told us to pick a seat so I darted to the back of the restaurant where the wood bench tables and arcade games are. From the looks of it, this place has been around for some time but its nice. Great place to go for some well priced food and to sit back, watch a game or just chill and talk to friends(officially our date night plan for next Friday with a friend and her new boyfriend) Off the bat we ordered drinks. My husband ordered an IPA(Sam Adams something or other) while my MIL and myself ordered 2 ice teas. We sat back, chit chatted for a bit and the waitress(cant remember her name but she was the only one working. Tall, skinny, long blond hair, very nice) came by to take our order. We’ve never been here before so she made some recommendations saying the burgers are AMAZING! and that the friend mushrooms are killer. SO, that was what we ordered. The fried mushrooms were just that. Best fried mushrooms I’ve had in a very long time. Melt in your mouth, out of this world. Everything and anything good that you can think of, that is what they are. The teas were perfect! Its hard to find places that serve good ice tea and knowing that they do, I’m even more hooked. Our order consisted of the Triple Bypass with fries(Husband) The Bleu Cheese burger with fries(MIL) and the Juicy Lucy, fries, and a side of Cole Slaw for myself. The Juicy Lucy was something that came from heaven. The patty is stuffed with cheese… I tasted a hint of Jalapeño flavored cheese. Maybe its just me but that’s what mine tasted like. The fries were perfectly fried but my favorite part and I’ll be substituting my fries for this from now on, would be the the Cole Slaw. A hint of lime, it was perfect. The only thing I wish they would have done was put lettuce and tomato on my burger. I heard no complaints out of my husband and MIL so I’m going to assume they both loved what they had. Especially since all they can talk about is coming back for a revisit soon. We cant wait for our double date Friday to introduce 2 more people to this awesome little hidden gem. It was a really nice evening though. It was really kickback and we ended up sitting around talking for a good 3 hours. They close at 11, kitchen closes at 10, and we ended up leaving at 11:10. They didn’t rush us or make us feel unwelcome after closing hours while we just sat there. Yes, its that kick back of a place. Don’t even realize how much time has gone by and they don’t even give attitude if you’ve been there for too long. It was really nice. For all three of us: 3 burgers(fries included), a side, an appetizer, beer, and 2 drinks cost us $ 50.
