I have not eaten here for a few months. I went there last weekend and ordered a beef bowl. To my surprise the meat was no longer strips, but chopped mini pieces. No only was the meat a disappointment, but the rice in the bowl was filled ½ full. This is an excellent way for them to make money, but in the long run they will lose business. If you want your moneys worth, I would suggest going down the block to Yamas Teriyaki.

The tataki bowl desperately needed seaweed salad. I ordered it on the side and added it to the bowl myself, which helped a lot, although the salad is meant to be a standalone dish and is therefore huge. The fish itself looks like it was seared on too low heat, so they got a slight pink edge instead of the nice sear they were going for. Not spectacular by any means, but for cheap strip mall food it’s totally fine.

Every time I come here it is just horrible service. Mess up on my order or it takes 20 minutes it never fails to not impress me. There was a total of 1 other person in the restaurant yet I still find myself waiting patiently as always. Please get it together!

I got the teriyaki chicken bowl with brown rice here about once a week for about the past year. Sadly I won’t be eating here anymore after I found soap in the teriyaki sauce. Not sure if it was an accident what, but in any case left a bad taste in my mouth to say the least.

My boyfriend and I tried this place for dinner tonight and I can confidently say I will be back forsure! He had the baked scallop bowl and raved about it! I had the half and half sushi bowl and I thoroughly enjoyed it as well. The boy at he counter was super sweet also. I will be coming back soon to try out more on the menu :)

This place is literally 2 minutes from my house and I used to go here often. The staff is usually friendly. Even though I like most of their food doesn’t mean its the best quality. Their steak is always too chewy/​hard for me and I literally end up spitting out more than half of it even though it has good flavor because I get spicy sauce on top. I usually get a rice bowl with spicy steak or chicken and add avocado. I don’t know what it is about their avocado but it remains the best avocado I have ever had. Besides the avocado, like I said their meat is usually chewy so I’m not the biggest fan of Fuji anymore. I used to crave it but unfortunately I do not anymore :(

My review: Awesome! Need I say more?! Ok, ok, I’ll share my thoughts. The staff is friendly the place is clean. The food was very good, the flavor was delicious. The bowl comes with your choice of white rice, brown rice or steamed veggies. It also has edamame, ginger and a side of teriyaki sauce. Overall, I loved it. I’ll be back for sure.

I was trying to decide if I wanted Waba Grill or this place, and I’m stoked that I came here instead!
The food was great, I got the chicken teriyaki bowl with a side of the snap peas. There was a perfect amount of sauce, and the rice wasn’t completely drenched in it. I didn’t get stiffed with the chicken either, I got enough to fill me up before I even touched the rice!
There wasn’t a long wait, it took maybe 15 minutes max before he brought out our food. I liked this place a LOT more than Waba Grill. Will definitely be back!

I ordered the ET bowl (Bbq Eel with Spicy Tuna). The portion was a bit small for its price. The bowl comes with three small slices of eel and a thin layer of spicy tuna. The fish didn’t taste fresh either. Plus, this place and the tables are pretty dirty when I dined there. Probably won’t come back.
