Great Adventures Learning Center

It’s fantastic! All of the teachers have a lot of experience and I felt comfortable with each and every one of them. It’s not just a day care center, my son learned something new each and every day through their planned curriculum. He enjoyed attending from about 18 months until he was about 4 ½. The only reason he’s not there anymore is because we had another child and my wife is home so she’s taking care of both. BUT there’s no doubt in my mind that when our new baby is old enough to attend, he will. Debbie, Sharon, Tina and Krissy were amazing and I was very sad to take my little boy from there. 5 Stars all the way.

Moved to HB from 100 miles away so I was very nervous about leaving my almost 2 year old daughter with a stranger. I looked around for daycares and I just knew that GALC was the one for us. It really feels like a family. The daycare is like a house converted to a daycare so it has a small homey feeling. The kids have a daily schedule the teachers follow. They have a beautiful play yard. And they have a curriculum they follow. My daughter is turning 3 next month and everyone always tells me how great she is and how smart she is. Of course I take credit for that (lol) but I do also owe a lot of it to GALC because they instill the same morals (behavioral and educational) while she’s in school. She’s well behaved, super smart and polite. She’s outgoing and friendly. They also provide lunch a couple of times a week for dirt cheap which is great when there aren’t any leftovers to take. And the tuition is super competitive, if not one of the lowest in the area. It’s a win win situation all around. My daughter will be attending until she’s ready for Kindergarten :) Thank you Ms. Debbie and Sharon for all you do!!!

My nephew has been attending GALC since he was 18 months and it has been nothing but a positive experience. All of the teachers treat the children like they are part of the family. My nephew has learned so much and is now fully prepared to head to Kindergarten. I highly recommend GALC to anyone looking for childcare! Thanks GALC staff!

Great Adventures Learning Center is a fantastic preschool. My son started attending for about a year now. They have a great learning program which helps with preparing students for kindergarten. They are well balanced with both academics and play. They incorporate music, arts & crafts, and fun into their daily routines.
They keep you well informed of upcoming events, holiday pot lucks, & school closures. They provide you with a quarterly learning learning calendar which tells you letters, numbers, colors, and shapes of the week. They offer hot lunches for purchase 3 days a week.
The teachers are absolutely wonderful. My son has made many friends and just loves going to school everyday!

Our family was so lucky to have found Great Adventures when my son was 4, and now my daughter has finished her third year here and is heading off to preschool.
The school is located in an older house, with more of a family feel than the more commercial preschools out there. The teachers are top quality and teach behavior and social skills as well as a healthy dose of academics. They provide a safe and fun learning environment and are supportive of the kids and their families. They have a huge play yard in the front for big kids and back for little kids, and are always finding unique ways to entertain and play together.
My son is now entering second grade and is so excited to go back and visit Ms. Sharon, and when I asked my daughter how she feels about going to kindergarten, her answer was ‘I’m not scared, but I’m sad I won’t get to see Ms. Sharon!’ We will definitely be going back to visit as the kids get older.

Love this school. My son goes here. He loves his teacher Christina. All the staff is.wonderful. They teach the kids so much and have such a wonderful summer program. So glad I picked this school for my son. Loved the Christmas performance they had and the suprise visit from santa. The staff does really good with keeping you updated on your child, school events, days closed, schedule, lunch menu, etc. Two thumbs up for Great Adventure Learning Center!!!

GALC is a wonderful preschool. Both of my children attended for many years so we have seen the program on all levels from infant to pre-​K. My kids loved going to school every day, made great friends, and learned a ton. They were more than prepared for kindergarten well before they were old enough to enroll in kindergarten. The teachers are all fantastic and have been with the school forever — they love the kids and the feel of the school is much like a big family. You can feel good sending your kids to GALC!
