Definitely the best liquor store in HB. THEY DELIVER ALCOHOL PEOPLE!!! Really fast and friendly service. There are new owners and they are so awesome. Really knowledgeable about the craft beer and wine. I won’t go anywhere else for liquor!

Wow this place is awesome! My best friend and I ordered some drinks (Alcohol) and had it delivered to her apartment in under 18 minutes (we timed them)! There is a $ 25 minimum so make sure your order exceeds that –they take debit cards as well :)

EPIC FAIL LIQUOR
I re-​named their already lame name to an even better one. Come on: Liquor– Liquor? Really? Like we don’t get it the first time? Maybe I’m just bitter! Now, I NEVER say «epic fail» about anything because #1) It’s the most trendiest thing someone could ever say since 1990 && #2) Nothing ever disappointed me that much… until now! The main thing I said when I woke up this morning was, «Damn, I need to Unilocal HB Liquor. I hope the owners claimed the page so that they know what I write about them!»
Me & my husband come here a lot to cash in checks & buy some random liquor store stuff (drinks, beers, eats, etc). It’s a regular looking liq with household stuff as well. The thing we loved about this place was that they offered home delivery. Never used that service but what a cool concept & good to know about.
SO, WHY THE ONE STAR RATING?
Let me tell you why:
#1) Bought/​pre-​ordered a Heineken keg
#2) Dropped $$ on the deposit, bought a tap, and took the keg to the party
#3) Tap they gave us was not compatible with the keg
#4) When the party already started we called to let them know BUT they we’re irritated & told us we were probably doing it wrong and to keep playing with it & hung up on us even though we were trying for half an hour before we even called– like something was going to change. Plus, my friend is a bartender && is a restaurant manager meaning IT’S IN THE JOB DESCRIPTION TO CHANGE OUT A KEG!!!
#5) Called back again & FINALLY got someone to come out after they we’re b*tching about it (ya’ll deliver, right? So get your @$$ over here cause I paid for some d@mn beer not an over sized paper weight!!!)
#6) Guy comes & couldn’t do it either. He said the keg was busted and that he can get us a domestic and pay us the difference.
#7) An hour later the guy didn’t come back & we called them to see what was up. The idiot that answered said he sent the guy back out with another tap (not another keg like we discussed) and gave us attitude about it
#8) 30 minutes later the guy comes and finally gets the thing going with the right tap for imported kegs, from Mr. Keg mind you, since they didn’t have it themselves (they originally gave us a stupid universal tap for domestic kegs)
All that said… keg was getting hot, 2.5 hours deep into the party, no comp’ed anything, and the worse service I’ve ever had in my life. I hope the guy didn’t expect us to tip him for coming over to us twice because their dummies that don’t know how to practice good business etiquette… UUGGHH!
I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS LIQUOR STORE MY BUSINESS EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE! THERE’S A LIQUOR STORE RIGHT NEXT TO EL POLLO LOCO AND EVERYWHERE ELSE IN HB. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!

1. The place was really clean; 2. They seemed to have everything!; 3. They had Abba Zabba candy bars (the last thing I needed to complete the Easter baskets); 4. The guy behind the counter was hot.
Therefore:
Cleanliness + Selection + End to my Neurotic Candy Search + Smokin’ Scenery = One Happy Girl

Did you get that? They will DELIVER ALCOHOL! If you are in the HB area, this place is good to know about!
The actual store has a huge selection of beer, and some alcohol and wine. There’s also a check cashing place. The guy behind the counter was hot… in a «I’m the guy working at the counter» kinda way…
Parking sucks though. You can’t just drive up, you have to park in the lot. It’s in the big lots /​don ramons center on warner/​goldenwest.
They deliver anywhere in HB.
