Hilltop Jr Market

They seem friendly. Usually went there to pay my So Cal Edison bill. But my recent lottery scratcher experience has me questioning that. Had won $ 80 on a few, so cycled $ 60 into about 15 tickets… not one winner. I’ve been playing these for a while, never had such a long losing streak.
Not claiming any funny business outright, but it did raise a huge red flag for me…

Place used to be friendly and well run but for the last year it’s gone to hell.
They let drunks hang out behind their place refuse to tell them to leave and told us we need to call the cops .It’s not their job.
We’ve had bottles thrown over the fence, had bums using profanity ruin our evenings and they could give a crap. They got their money.
Used to have a couple of nice Hispanic people working there but now it’s full of lazy relatives who are rude and condescending.
Don’t know if Tony still owns the place but if he does it’s a damn shame.
Two bucks to use the ATM and a 50 cent charge to use your atm if you don’t spend over 7.00, rip off city.
To the old guy working there today (Saturday March 15) you are a tool.

I left your crappy store and spent my money at Stater Brothers.

Great little shop on the corner of Warner and Gothard — this little market stocks a bit of everything !
In addition to liquor, various beers/​wine — they also have coffee in the morning.
The owner is always nice and friendly when I come early in the morning (they open at 7am).
Good, spacious parking.
