I was in Huntington Beach for a weekend trip with my family and Saturday was a usual training day for me. So I called Kings MMA to confirm they had. Saturday GI class. The lady on the phone was super nice and gave me all the information I needed to know including the $ 25.00 drop in fee for the class. When I got there the entire class individually introduced them selfs as the class went on. The instructor Ricardo was very informative and more then willing to answer any questions me or any other student had on the technic he was demonstrating. If you find your self in the beautiful city of Huntington Beach Needing to train some jiu jitsu this is the place to go.

My son trains here and is incredible how he has improved, Profesional fighters train there and it motivates the kids too. The best place for kids to learn jiu-​jitsu and muay Thai, and of course for adults too.

The gym had different areas for different types of training. Its in Huntington Beach, located in a business lot. I just so happen togo whem UFC fighters Lyoto Machida, Fabricio Werdum and Rafa Dos Anjos were training too!!! :)))

I’ve been training here for Muay Thai and MMA, as well as often watching the BJJ classes, and must say I’m extremely impressed here. I’ve never been one to delve too much into the Martial Arts field, but after only a week here, I feel like a regular «family» member that fits in. I go for the morning classes and I really like the way they are run, in that warm-​ups incorporate everyone there to lead count-​offs, building a sort of unity instead of the condescending environment where people are just there to show off. The instructors know their stuff and are extremely willing to help others, which is definitely a great thing for anyone. First class is free, so if anything, checking out a free class is something you don’t want to miss out on!

This is truly an amazing place to train. There are very few places in the world where a person can walk into a gym known for training martial artists as talented as Wanderlei Silva, Anderson Silva, Shogun Hua, Fabricio Werdum, Babalu Sobral, Lyoto Machida etc. etc. and actually take a daily class with the head coach. And yes you will see amazing fighters who are always friendly and easy going. Rafael Cordeiro is a phenomenal instructor who makes everyone comfortable no matter the skill level. I recommend King’s for the aspiring professional or someone that just wants to have fun and get fit. All of the instructors are top notch and King’s has a family friendly vibe which shows in how they care for their students. It’s been an honor to train here for over two years and is always a great experience.

I recently relocated back to Southern California and was looking for a great place to train so I can continue with my amateur fight career and move on to pro when the time is right. I checked out several gyms within an hour or two of driving distance (I live in Anaheim). When I finally arrived at Kings after trying out about 7 other gyms, I knew I was home. The first class I tried out (Muay Thai) was amazing. Master Rafael Cordeiro (coach to several UFC fighters) taught the class (as he normally does) and was beyond welcoming. He offered great support and made me feel as if I was a part of the team even though I was just trying the class out. He is an amazing instructor and obviously knows what he is doing. He has a serene yet motivating way of letting you know when you are doing something great, and offering advice on where you have room for improvement. The pro team training (M/​W/​F at noon) is surreal as you get to train with some of the best in the business including Babalu and Werdum. The youth program is equally amazing and after speaking with several parents and students themselves, its obvious what a positive impact the program has on their lives. Check out Kings today — you’ll never want to go anywhere else!!!

Was on vacation in LA to see Rammstein and didn’t feel like dropping my cash on lame tourist traps, so I decided to do the thing I love best: kickboxing. Ample parking, $ 20 a day drop in fee, and classes throughout the day from morning to evening. I hear that Rafael shows up for the muay thai class from 6−7pm if you want to learn from him. I showed up to the thursday one and unfortunately he wasn’t there that night (he was the night before though), but people tell me you better know your striking. There are lots of people training there, whether they be fighters, people wanting to learn, or just to get exercise. A lot Brazilian’s train here so you know this place is legit for jiu jitsu if they fly all the way over to train here!
I mainly did the muay thai classes and I can say that the instructors know what they are doing and taught me things I didn’t know when training at my place back home. Sparring was on Fridays and fun. This place has a nice family feel to it even though lots of pros train there. There are two rooms so two classes can be taught at once. The mats are cleaned twice a day and the equipment is very new. Ample parking!
I had a great time training here on vacation and I’ll definitely return if I’m back in the area.

This place is awesome!!! they really nice to me, especially Kory (the one work at the front desk) he’ve been very helpful, motivate me, even the coach here are awesome. I remember my first class here and my heart felt like it almost stopped after he warm up and i just realize that i still have a whole lesson to go. I signed up though i could go to muay thai class all the way from 6 to 8 pm but after 7 pm im just out :(they train really hard and also make you work on your cardio as well. I also get to meet wanderlei silva and jason miller. Have a great experience and will totally choose this gym to train. I highly recommend anyone who love mma to train at this gym because the way they train is extremely hard and you also get to meet famous people.

I was invited to try this place by a friend who is a regular. The place is big, no funky smell when you go in, people are friendly and greeted me. I met the owner Rafael Cordeiro, really welcoming guy. I attended the F 5pm MMA class. The warm up nearly sent me to a heart attack. a few kids attended but they were good. After that I also attended the Muay Thai class, it was awkward because i was the only girl… nobody wanted to play with me. Then 3 of the biggest guys finally decided to give me a chance to spar with them. Again, they were nice. My only question was… knowing that R. Cordeiro loves to knee… why aren’t the guys kneeing during sparring. Maybe they weren’t supposed to??? My kicks are weak so I mostly knee, maybe I was wrong but RC didn’t correct me so i thought it was ok. I learned later on from my instructor that i wasn’t supposed to elbow without elbow pads… Woopsie. That’s why nobody was using their elbows on me.
Overall, i like this place and i will definitely come back.

My coach is a student and is one of the teachers here, this gym is literally the best striking gym in the face of the planet. If you want to have flawless striking and be in an environment where everybody is nice I recommend this gym. And on the side note the master of this gym produced the invincible anderson silva.

Rafael trains top UFC fighters here like Anderson Silva, Shogun Rua, Wanderlei Silva, and Mayhem Miller.
