Sonny boy luvs breakfast burritos so he sent me to Kelly’s Donuts & Burgers located on Warner in the same strip mall as Carlitos. The casual order at the counter offers a variety of donuts, breakfast items, and lunch entrees. I ordered sonny the combination burrito which includes scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, bacon, sausage and hashbrown. The burrito was HUGE and sonny really enjoyed it and said it was really good … a winner. Kelly’s has delicious breakfast burritos and good service. I’m a fan! 4 Stars

I got these donuts for a work group of donut lovers, and we were utterly disappointed. The glazed raised donuts were dry, the old fashioned was not crispy enough and also tasted like cough syrup, and the maple bar and maple old fashioned were not mapley enough. The blueberry cake donut was okay, but basically tasted like a blueberry eggo waffle. Not a fan.

The first time my boyfriend and I came here was great. This time wasn’t so great. I ordered a breakfast burrito without salsa. Not only did I not get a receipt or a number, but they ignored my request and put a LOT of salsa on my burrito. Unfortunately tomatoes make me sick so I’ve paid for food I cannot eat. They were very busy when I arrived but that doesn’t excuse such disappointing service. I’m sure anyone without food intolerances will love this place, but don’t expect them to listen to any«special» requests.

Unfortunately, since the CHANGEOFOWNERSHIP back in 2012, this place has gone down hill. I read a few of the newer ratings last night and feel bad for those of you who didn’t realize it the change in ownership. Kelly & Peter made this place what it WAS, but once they moved on to their Fountain Valley location,(2013) it just hasn’t been the same. The new owners are trying, BUT they have been cutting corners from day one and you can tell in the quality. Unfortunately, also, the customer service is below par. We were so used to what Kelly & Peter provided, we may have taken it a bit for granted, but customer service, friendliness, feeling welcomed, great quality food, cleanliness, reasonable prices is what I’m looking for. When hard working, amazingly friendly Kelly & Peter owned it, it was nothing short of five stars, everyday. Sad to see them recently leave the Fountain Valley location also, but wishing them good luck in their future ventures. We love you Kelly & Peter! You brought everything to both Huntington Beach & Fountain Valley that nobody can seem to match. :-(

Grumpy Monday. My last experience here with breakfast burrito was not bad so I suggested my friend to come here on our way to work on Monday morning. Ordered egg and sausage breakfast burrito, this time it was pretty average at best and you can only taste the crunchy hash brown at the end of the burritos which kind defect the reason I like breakfast burritos. salsa, mild, is still consistent as last visit. My friend ordered egg and ham croissant and we shared, the croissant, even they seem microwaved it before serving, was so gross and tasted flat. I don’t think it was that fresh. Both of our coffee, iced and hot, were very watery down. Later on, there were at least 10 high school girls swarmed the place, some ordered some did not. The cashier was pretty inpatient when she called and no one went to pick up the food. Then there was a fight behind the counter, one lady was blaming the other that just told her one Mocha which should be «one more» Mocha and the 3rd lady had to yell at both of them to calm down. I did not have enough sleep on sunday night and the food and annoying environment, what a grumpy Monday!!!

Best breakfast burritos hands down. They are huge. Also the fresh OJ is the best I’ve ever had. There is a reason I’m the Duchess of this place. Everyone I’ve brought here or have tried the burritos love them. I’ve c never had the burgers and the donuts are good but the breakfast burritos are da bomb. They do offer chorizo burritos. It’s not listed on the wall but it is on the hand menu.

Burger smelled good but tasted terrible. Meat was thin and dry. Cheese was plastic. Bread was stale. Breakfast burrito has too much potato and not enough meat. Felt like I was eating hashbrowns wrapped in a tortilla with a single bit of sausage. Pretty dismal. Donuts are large but oily. Service is depressing. I appreciate small business but I won’t let my soft spot for mom and pop shops delude my rating. Wanted to like this place but I don’t, and I don’t understand the rave reviews for the breakfast burrito. It was boring and most of it went in the trash. Oh well.

Stopped in for a bite on my way to the gardens and was not disappointed. This place has the typical vibe for a donut shop. You could probably hang out here for a while, get things done… I know your first inclination is going to be to go straight for a donut, save your appetite for a burrito(just trust me with this). I was served a hearty breakfast burrito with perfectly cooked eggs, and just enough bacon and cheese, to slip me into a morning bliss. Still want donuts? The donut holes are awesome! Pricing is spot on too.

I’ve been on a breakfast burrito binge lately and wanted to try this place. This particular location is right across from a high school so it can get pretty busy right before and after kiddos are in class. I got ‘the works’ burrito and was disappointed it didn’t come with salsa on the side, which I normally prefer but not a big deal. The burrito itself was huge and stayed warm even after an hour. Lots of fluffy scrambled eggs, little potatoes, but the bacon had a really nice crunch to it. Polish sausage tasted like the Jennie ‘O breakfast sausage links so I’m not sure how special it was but good nonetheless. The reason I’m giving this place only 3 stars is because I found a strand of hair about 4 inches long halfway through the burrito. I hope this was an anomaly since everyone raves about the place but that ruined the rest of my appetite and I threw it away. The women working taking your order are really nice, however, and service was quick. I think I’ll try the Fountain Valley location next time though.

In today’s World of «designer» mom and pop shops it can be hard to distinguish between an authentic local spot and a corporate copycat created franchise. Kelly’s Donuts is the real thing. Food creations that have been perfected over years of serving happy customers, hand-picked ingredients from local markets, and fast service that can handle even the longest line out the door. Their hero item is a tossup between their hearty breakfast burrito and mouthwatering crownuts(A doughnut croissant). Regardless of when you discover this hidden treasure, soon you’ll be a regular.
