Hydrocut Waterjet

Just called in for a quick quote and the reception under the name Terry picked up the phone and was immediately rude. I would not be coming here to have any of my project cut here. So sad that they would hire such bad receptionist for such a high reputation company. Oh well they just lost a customer with a lot of projects to be made.

Ted and his team are truly awesome. What I like about them most is that they’re more than willing to take on a small project and help you bring it to life. Can’t tell you how many shops i’ve called and emailed and they wouldn’t give me the time of day. I’m still in the prototyping phase of my project so I was working with a smaller quantity of parts.
My biggest concern with getting stuff cut on a waterjet, especially from parts i’ve seen from various shops is the taper and when I initially talked to Ted on the phone, he gave me his word I would be happy with the result. Sure enough, the parts are as square as can be. I nit pick the shit out of stuff like this and it’ll drive my OCD crazy but I was more than happy with the end result.
Unfortunately, the project i’m working on called for a different approach and would have to be cnc machined instead. I was pretty damn embarrassed about having to stop the job midway, but they were very understanding with the situation. I will definitely work with them in the future as their quality is impeccable and they’re just a great team to work with overall.

I took in a small, single item (sheet metal) that needed a circular cut for a custom car project. I work nearby, so I visited during my lunchbreak to see if they’d be willing to take on such a small job. Not only was he willing to do it, he did it right there while I waited!
The quality of the cut totally exceeded my expectations, and the price, courtesy, and professionalism of the service rendered was awesome. I’ll be referring my friends :)

This place is awesome! Took a piece of travertine 18 inch square and asked Nick to cut it in a circle to fit on a wrought iron lazy susan we had. He not only made the cut perfectly, he also cut a piece of metal to attach to the back of the travertine with epoxy to keep it sturdy and prevent it from cracking. All this for $ 25.
This is a small dad and son business that represents the true American small business. They make cuts in anything using high pressure water. Not sure what else they to but give them a call if you need something cut.
