Not all that good the food isn’t authentic they don’t even bring it to your table but still give you a receipt with tip. Try at your own risk.

The lomo saltado was dry and real expensive, you can go to the Peruvian restaurant down the street(Casa inka) better quality food for the same prices.

The best Peruvian food I’ve found in OC. The chicken is so good and the garlic potatoes are delicious. Excellent service, great food and very healthy. 5 big stars!

This has become one of my fave go-to delivery dinners. I love the variety that appeals to the whole family, delivery is quick and the food is delicious! The whole chicken with three sides is an amazing deal.

My husband and I were starving and ran into this amazing little spot. It is extremely clean with friendly staff. We ordered the empanadas and arros con pollo… Man were they tasty. The pricing is great for the large portion of food served. Thank you to the owners, you definitely have a special little business here. Cant wait to return!

So I decided to try this place because all the rave from these Unilocal reviews… I ordered the Beef Lomo Saltado and it wasn’t all of that … The Beef was chewy the onions weren’t cooked all the way. They still had a raw taste to them … I barely got any fries and very little beef … The Sauce was ok, but nothing to rave about… I was disappointed… I hope that wasn’t authentic Peruvian food… Never ordering again

This was my first time that I tried Peruvian rotisserie chicken. I really enjoyed the smokiness of the chicken and how juicy it was. The cola rice was delicious and so were the garlic potatoes. The trophy though has to go to the green sauce that accompanied the chicken so well. Other Peruvian restaurants have green sauce too but they tend to be too spicy. Their sauce here were perfectly mild with a little kick to enjoy generously with your meal.

I had Peruvian chicken for the first time in 1999. I was in an intern in Washington, D.C. The grassroots organization I was an intern for had just landed a huge win so to celebrate we got take out from a Peruvian chicken place in Virginia! My husband and I love Peruvian food but we hadn’t tried Peruvian Rotisserie chicken so I was excited to discover this place through Unilocal.Well, the chicken has a very mesquite smoked flavor which isn’t my thing so I didn’t like it, but I gave this place 4 stars for their green sauce! I’ve tried the green sauce at almost every Peruvian place in the South Coast Metro area and they’re all so spicy that you can’t taste anything except the heat. This green sauce was so good I may just come here weekly to get multiple sides of green sauce so I can put it on everything I eat!

I don’t like writing bad Unilocal reviews, but my first experience was subpar. First off I ordered Lomo Saltado which was pretty good although I maybe had 4 pieces of steak in it. Second I placed an order through Unilocal/Eat 24 for delivery a little bit before 1pm estimated delivery time was 30 – 50 min, I called the restaurant at the 1 hour mark and they said it should be there any minute, fast forward to 1 hour and 20 minutes after the order was placed it was delivered. Third the meal was $ 17 before the tip, which I thought was pretty steep for 4 pieces of steak. But again, the flavor was pretty good, just over priced for a plate full of tomatoes, onions, fries, and 4 pieces of steak.

If you are rich and price and small serving size means nothing, then give this place 5 stars. Their chicken has always been fresh. The recipe is unique and only Charo Chicken is better here in Huntington Beach. Here is the problem for the rest of us who are not billionaires: Price. I was stunned that they raised prices for the 2nd time. When I first went there, a 2 piece dinner with 2 sides was $ 6.50. Then, they raised the price to $ 7.50. Today(2÷25÷16) they raised it AGAIN to an OUTRAGEOUS $ 8.50 – I just walked out. What makes it over the top expensive is that the chickens they use are SMALL. Charo chickens are LARGE. When the price was $ 6.50, I ate there 10 times per month When the price was raised to $ 7.50, I went there 1 time every 2 months. Now, that the price is $ 8.50, they will be lucky if I eat there one time per year. Very poor business judgment by the owner. He lost $ 650/year in revenues from me ONLY. What will he do next? Will he use rock cornish game hens to make the chicken TINY? The chicken is SUPERB. Go ahead and tear up $ 2 and try it, but, unless you are rich, you will be a rare visitor.

Wow, first of all the green sauce is amazing. I ordered the pesto chicken spaghetti and the pork tamale for delivery and it arrived hot and fresh. The delivery driver was professional and efficient. The chicken was juicy, the pasta was slightly over cooked but the pesto sauce was delicious. I’ve never had a tamale that made me feel good about eating it, until I consumed this delicious morsel. It was covered in tomatoes and onions with a heavy dose of green sauce. The pork tender, surrounded with the corn based filler, wrapped in a huge leaf of some kind. Amazing. definitely coming back

We came across this place on Unilocal and decided to try it out. The place looks like a small take out place so don’t expect a fancy sit down. We ordered the half chicken, fried plantains, garlic potatoes, and fish ceviche. Not only did the food looked amazing when it came out but it was so delicious. I can’t wait to come back to try other dishes. Definitely will not disappoint.

Delicious Peruvian food — we ordered a family style plate with all kinds of meats, veges, shrimp, etc. plenty for a family of 4 with leftovers. They got this green Spicey celery type dip that’s to die for. Inka Cola is my favorite drink here — reminds me of my time in Machu Picchu.

Wow. I love Peruvian food and was blown away when I discovered this gem. Their food is OUTSTANDING. Very high quality, very flavorful and they have all the classic dishes you would want. The restaurant is in a strip mall that has plenty of parking. There is a dining area inside if you choose to eat in. They actually deliver too. The delivery is so fast, less than 30 minutes even though they quoted 45 minutes. This is my favorite spot in HB for dinner

A small spot that I have probably passed dozens of times on my way down the superhighway that they call Beach Blvd. I came for lunch and had their full rotisserie chicken with yams and a side salad. You get a ton of food for the price of $ 12. Typically I would have ordered a Saltado as this is a Peruvian place but I was in the mood for roasted chicken. The chicken didn’t disappoint one bit, paired with the green dipping sauce each piece of chicken was moist and not overcooked. The yams were a surprising winner as it was both tender and seasoned well. Keeping me from giving this place five stars is the rather small dining area, if you come with a big group better off getting your food to go. My coworkers ordered the Saltado’s in both beef and chicken and they looked good, while I didn’t get to try them I don’t think you would go wrong here. Steer clear of the sandwiches and focus on the chicken and Saltado.

Was in the mood for a little Peruvian today, and since I work in HB about 5 minutes away from here, I thought I might give this place a try. I had my heart set on the Lomo Saltado because as advertised on their window –the the best in town. But as I’m browsing through their menu just to check it out, the pesto spaghetti caught my eyes and I had to have it. It also had the option of coming with steak, so I thought it would be perfect since that was what I was in the mood for. This dish was quite a miss IMS. It was lacking a lot of flavor. I felt like adding a lot of salt to it and I usually don’t really eat too salty. The pesto spaghetti got really bland and boring to eat after a few bites. The piece of steak on top was pretty tender though which I liked, but again, lacking a lot of flavor here also. I can’t exactly put my finger on it. It’s not a light dish where you feel good after eating it because of the heaviness of the cheese, nor was it satisfying because it tasted good. I did like the green sauce that came along with the side of garlic bread though. I used it to dip my steak in and I thought it helped. Service was good. The guy at the counter was nice and helpful.

Últimamente la comida no esta buena, salada muy condimentada y lo peor es el servicio que da la persona que toma las órdenes . Anteriormente tanto la comida como el servicio estaba muy bueno . Ya no lo recomiendo.
