This is a rude doctor who talks to patients and staff in an ugly tone. I was referred to this doctor by another doctor. I never would’ve gone to this doctor on my own. I’m definitely not returning to this doctor’s office based on the way this doctor is. It’s obvious to me his staff can put up with his rude bedside manner. I pay $ for my treatment and I don’t need to be pay $ to be disrespected.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sebag’s for about 20 years. My initial visit spoke volumes about his expertise and dedication. Late on a Friday afternoon while undergoing a procedure to repair a detached retina, my ophthalmologist informed me that the seriousness of my condition exceeded his skills. He told me he knew of only one physician capable of successfully reattaching my retina: Dr. Jerry Sebag. It was 4:00 pm; my doctor called Dr Sebag, catching him just as he was leaving. After hearing of my situation, Dr. Sebag said to send me over, he would wait for me. I arrived about 5:00 p.m. and hours later, Dr. Sebag had successfully reattached my retina. At the risk of sounding dramatic, Dr. Sebag saved my eyesight. I have great respect for Dr. Sebag’s expertise, professionalism and compassion. The eye is an amazing organ, but my understanding of its complex workings is woefully limited. Dr. Sebag always takes the time to explain the nature of my problems, review and explain my diagnostic images and tests as well as answer the sometimes myriad of questions I posit. The administrative and technical staff, many of whom have been there for years, are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

Dr Sebag literally changed my life. I got a very large, dark floater in my eye when I was in my early 20s. It was hard to do anything, especially work on a bright computer screen. I saw countless ophthalmologists who all told me I was«too young» and that they«couldn’t see anything» before flying out to LA. Dr. Sebag not only saw my issue and validated my concerns, he was informative and knowledgable during the whole procedure. It has been almost 5 years, and I have had zero problems and my quality of life has improved greatly. If you have annoying floaters, you don’t have to live with them! HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sebag. I will say that some of these reviews are poor due to his bedside manner(although he was lovely with me) but he deserves 5+ stars for knowledge and technique, which is the most important in my book.

Dr. Sebag literally(and I do mean literally) wrote the definitive book on the anatomy and disease of the vitreous. He cured a lifelong problem with«floaters» for me in both eyes. Note that this is an area where Dr. Sebag is an active clinical researcher — developing objective methods for assessing the qualify of life impact of floaters. I’ve found him to be a compassionate and skilled surgeon, and travel to see him from Northern California. He is a superstar!

Had a horrible experience here with this Eye Dr. He was rude, and while I was sitting in the chair waiting for my exam, not once but twice yelled at technicians in front of me. I called to cancel my next appointment because of the way this man behaved, and was convinced to come back and see the other Dr on staff. I will give an update after I see the other Dr. But avoid Dr Sebag unless you want to witness his verbal abuse of the people that work for him.
