I work at the urgent care right next door so typically I come in for lunch atleast four times a week. The staff here is so warm welcoming and effiecient. I only have thirty min to take a lunch and never have i waited over 10 minutes even on a busy day. Sandy and Darlene are my two favorites though. They are so upbeat and make me feel better on long days with their charming personalities.

So Yuri, made this visit terrible. She was rude, unpleasant, and just mean overall We asked for our bread to be hallowed out, I asked her to change her gloves(I’m a vegetarian and she had just handled meat), threw our toppings on the sandwiches, did not want to give us the spoon for our soup, gave me the onion skin, and questioned a to why I wanted her to change her gloves, rudely saying, «Why? Are you allergic or something? ‘Cause then I should do the meat first», even though she had already tried to finish mine. Besides, it isn’t her business if I’m vegetarian. In any case, I won’t come back here

This is my favorite Subway! The staff are so friendly and the location is great– I stop in on my way to Westminister Mall or when near Marina High or nearby industrial area. Also, having the Starbucks in same shopping center is great and super convenient.

I’ve been to this particular Subway a handful of times and each time I left disappointed. Not so much the food, but the preparation. Subway ingredients are pretty much the same from one location to another, but the sandwich artists here aren’t as skilled. What do I mean? Well after you pick your ingredients, the sandwich artist(who I’ll refer to as S.A. for brevity) does a poor job wrapping things up to ring you up. Explain you say? I’ve done my fair share of SA observations and the good ones, during the final assembly step, use the knife to press the ingredients down into the bread and toward the uncut side of the bread. Then in one swift motion like a skilled samurai from the Sengoku Era they use the knife to hold the ingredients from spilling out and they fold the top half of the bread over thereby maintaining the structural integrity of the sandwich superstructure. What you get is a nicely wrapped sandwich. What I’ve seen at this location on a number of occasions, on a number of sandwiches(besides mine) is that they skip the knife pressing step, but instead lift up the sandwich by the wax paper and fold it together. The lack of applied pressure from the absence of the knife on the ingredients to compress some of the bread causes the ingredients to follow the path of least resistance and extrude out of the cut side of sandwich bread. The SA doesn’t notice this because by then they’ve already rolled the entire mess in the Subway branded outer paper. So when you go to eat your sandwich you unwrap the contents and you find an open face sandwich mess. I hear you naysayers saying«Well obviously you asked for all the ingredients like a greedy badger.» NAY I SAY! I actually only get a few veggies and a couple of tomatoes. Besides the SAs should be adequately prepared for any sandwich combination situation. It’s like Sandwich Assembly 101! Anyhow, now I go out of my way to the Subway a mile away on Edinger and Edwards. The sandwich fabrication is more consistent and higher quality. Word to you mutha.

This is my favorite Subway! It’s located in an industrial area of town — right across from the Westminster Mall, so traffic is light in the evening hours. There is always a good amount of parking in the area and there is never really a wait when I come in during the evening. One odd thing I noticed — this location closes early on the weekends and is open one hour later during the regular week. The fillings are fresh here — its always a plus when you can see the food they put in your sandwich is fresh. The employees don’t skimp when they fill your sub and they’re always cheerful when you ask for«a bit extra olives». I always get the 9-Oat Honey Grain bread — and they always have those in stock and fresh. The employees here are super friendly — Rick, Brianna and Jeanne being my favorites, as they are always helpful and friendly when I come in. Service is always efficient and the employees know when its appropriate to cut on the chatter if the line is getting busy. Indoor seating is ample, considering that most people take their food to go anyway. The soda machine is icky — I got soda one time and the diet coke came out clear… and the vitamin water tasted more like chlorinated water than flavored anything. They were too busy at the time for me to speak up. Overall a good place and a favorite!

I used to have really bad experiences at this subway with some of the staff. However, I think this subway has picked up a lot of slack. The staff is much more professional and the environment is clean. One of the employees is actually very sweet and gives me a 10% discount on my veggie sandwich every time I go in now because I go so often.

I love this subway. I don’t eat out often for lunch, but when I do, I try to go here. All the employees are great, but there are two that always stand out in my mind. Rick is incredible. He is always smiling and friendly, he handles unbelievably rude customers with this ease and professionalism. And, unfortunately, I cannot remember her name, but she was recently very pregnant, and unbelievably sweet. The food is always good, the service is fast, even during the super crowded lunch period, and everyone is just generally really calm and nice.

Every time I come here I am greeted and given attention right away. They give a warm, friendly environment. Always come during lunch time and despite how busy it gets, the employees have a smile on their face and give their attention to each guest.

Not too bad of a spot. My family decided to stop in here since we are not fans of the one at Goldenwest/Garden Grove blvd. good amount of parking and easy to get to. There was a hello but no welcome to subway. Wanda was our server and was quick and friendly. All the meats had the black toasted crumbs from bread on them and had to pick some off my daughters turkey. All of the white bread had the burnt black crumbs on the bottom. You need to get a coin for the bathrooms. Staff knows regulars names and seem to be very personable. Location was fairly clean. Good amount of seating. Still not a fan of these subways in the area that don’t have a bag around the tuna. All of the ones we have been to in Long Beach and Newport Beach have them. Looks a bit nasty. Overall a good experience.

Worst service! Asked if we wanted sub toasted, we said no, they toasted it anyways. Toasted the second one without even asking. Got flustered when the line got long. Very unprofessional! Never coming back!

This is actually my favorite local Subway. Wanda rocks. They had a couple difficult staff members a few months ago but it seems that they’re gone and the people that have replaced them are awesome. I like this subway because they take their time with you. I’m picky about my sandwiches and they listen and they really try to please. They can be fast if you’re in a hurry but if you like to take your time and have it made a certain way they will do that as well. Many of the subways always seem to be in a huge rush to get you out of the door. I understand that because it’s a lunch spot and people who are on their lunch break need to be quick, but some of us like to take the time to make our sandwich truly sing. This subway will cater to either type of person.

Two things. 1, I come here at least 3 times a week for lunch and 2, the other reviews are oooolllllddd. As far as space, it is a little smaller, but there are 8 tables, and I’ve never seen them full enough to feel the need to complain(because there is plenty of room even when full). I’ve NEVER had to ask for more veggies(and you can ask for more, they’re always nice about it). In the 50+ times I have ate at this location, everything tastes fresh, even the bread(i always see their oven on). I will say they have some characters working here(not in a bad way). They aren’t boring and fake, and when I sit here eating my lunch(like I am now) they’ve always been able to clear a line with easy and manage to work a laugh out of me one way or another. One time, while one of the ladies was changing the trash can next to me, she apologize for any inconvenience … she wasn’t throwing trash everywhere, nothing even came close to me. she was just being nice just in case Overall, one of the better subway restaurants I’ve ever been too. They actually over charged me one time and offered me a refund and some free cookies — now how can u be mad about that kind of customer service.

The service at this Subway has improved a lot since 6 months ago. I try to come here early, like 10am, before the lunch crowd gets in. I get the $ 3 breakfast deal which comes with a 6″ and coffee. It’s an awesome deal in my opinion. They serve Seattle’s Best, which is pretty good.

This has to be, THEWORST Subway I’ve ever been to. Period. First off, they have about 5 people behind the counter, handing sandwiches off to one another, possibly getting your order correct. They don’t listen to your order, and often will grab something you don’t want. The employees are very impatient and either can’t speak loud enough or clear enough to be heard the first time, so they always end up repeating themselves which in turn makes them more impatient. The food quality here is suck. My bread had to be a day old. It was hard and crusty, and it flippin started falling apart as I tried to eat it. And for the times I did manage to eat it, it was so stale tasting. This was the first time I’ve ever refused to eat a Subway sandwich. It was gross, disgusting. The produce was not fresh looking, especially the tomatoes. They layout here is awful. Its a roomy store, but they barely have any tables. They don’t seem to be to hip on cleaning the tables off, either. Seems like that must be a «do it yourself» part. The line for the sandwich area basically blocks all the tables, so if you want to get up for a refill, you have to squeeze thru people to get there. And they won’t want to move for you, so you’ll have to shove them out of the way. Oh well, at least horrible customers seem to visit the horrible Subway. Let’s keep it like that. The ONLY good thing out of this experience was the soda. Woop-de-doo. I still can’t believe I wasted half of my footlong since it was so gross. I won’t be returning to this Subway anytime ever. I’d rather starve.

So I know I’ve dissed subway a lot in the past. But in the last few months, I’ve started getting their sandwiches more often because Jared(the skinny version) and The Biggest Loser told me to. I gotta do something filling for lunch that doesn’t have a million calories. Easily accomplished at Subway. In this vicinity there are a lot of Subways around, and this one is BYFAR the worst. I get now that each location is owned by a different franchise owner, and boy does it show. This location doesn’t run AC. As a result, the employees are sweating. And while they are sweating and making your sandwich, they have this total look of despair on their face. Like they are going to either cry or reach over the counter and choke a bitch… Wayne Brady style. The line here is by far the longest at any given time(in comparison to other, local subways) and I’m pretty sure it’s because the employees are the slowest, most pissed off«sandwich artists» I have encountered. They are also so stingy with the toppings — you have to ask for more for just about everything. And when you ask for more, be prepared to be given the look of death. When I left I kept looking in my rear view mirror to make sure that scary meat handling girl wasn’t following me. I was seriously terrified by the look she gave me when I asked to add more banana peppers. *Note the locations off beach near mcfadden and at beach and westminster are friendly and make a damn good sandwich, with a smile… and they run AC.*

I keep finding myself asking the same question: why do people have it out for me?! okay I know most people don’t go out of their way just to hate on others, but it sure seems like it. this subway has standard food, but the customer service was beyond HORRIBLE. You can’t pay me enough to go back here. My mom and I walked in and we were 2nd in line… then my mom ordered. and the lady misunderstood(we said Italian BMT and she heard BLT, even though we did say ITALIAN in front of the the BMT), but I guess it was an honest mistake. However she quickly became evil… just to us. Now my mom might have an asian accent, but the lady had a much heavier hispanic accent. So the lady YELLED at us for all the questions: instead of cheese? she was like«YOUWANTCHEESE? HUH? HUH? WHATKIND, HUH? HUH?» like, okay. you know? sheesh. my mom and i didn’t want to make a big scene but it was really hard not to scream back when she shoved like 4 handfuls of jalepenos onto one of the sandwiches. hard. then she JAMMED the subs into the bag, crammed two napkins in and was like«BITCHYOUWANT A COOKIE?»(okay she didnt say bitch but i bet she wanted to, you could just tell) and my mom just paid. she was bitchy to only my mother and i. god can’t i just grab a sub in peace? do you really have to make a big production out of everything? i dont care if you thought i wanted a BLT as long as you fix it, and you did, so LEAVEMEALONE! needless to say, i’m never coming back. clerk number 6, you just made yourself 2 enemies today. okay maybe thats exaggerating, but seriously. this lady is evil. i dont know about any other employees, but she is crazy. we did nothing at all to provoke her.

My new favorite Subway location and my second Subway review(The first can be read here: ). I’ve been spending more time in this area between doing laundry, the new Target and Best Buy, so it makes perfect sense to visit this location when I’m in the mood for some Subway, which happens to be quite a lot lately. They make a pretty good sandwich and it’s also so much healthier for you than hitting up a fast food place. My sandwich of choice and the way I get it has changed since my first review back in November. I now get the Italian BMT on whole wheat, with light mayo and mustard and the same bag of BBQ baked Lays chips. 6 inches, but I’ll get the foot long if I’m really hungry. It’s a tiny«shopping center», but it’s not too hard to find a parking spot. Never really too busy and the people who work there are a fairly nice group of people. Not much else more to add :)
