Two words: David Dang! The best stylist I’ve ever had. Before David, I thought my hair was already good, but David helped take me deeper into my hair journey with his vision and attention to detail. Not only is he good at hair, but he is HILARIOUS! He has me laughing the whole time, and by the time I leave, I’m floating because I feel and look so good!

Went in looking for derma blend & Amber helped us out a lot. She helped us find the perfect match to my daughters skin type.

Every single time I shop for makeup I always want to consider this place. Who the hell knows why because they are so rude, nobody knows what the next person is doing, they’re so unorganized, did I mention that they are RUDE! There’s nothing professional about this place and it’s staff. DISAPPOINTEDBEYONDALLMEASURE!!!

They were able to accommodate my schedule easily and had the gel polish I was looking for because I had a great experience with it at a different salon. Angelica was nice and we had fun talking, but she didn’t work on my hands at all and barely shaped my nails. I told her my hands were trashed because I work with animals, but she didn’t offer anything to help my poor hands or work on them. The polish looked good, but different in the dimmed light than it did outside, and there was a lot of little mistakes. I won’t go back for my nails, but liked the service,

‘Waste your money and you’re only out of money, but waste your time and you’ve lost a part of your life.” Michael LeBoeuf I visited the Ulta Salon first a couple months ago. When I booked I needed an early morning appointment and I booked at 10:00 am. Nicole W(who is also the manager) was 15 minutes late. Things happen, I’m a pretty understanding person and in terms of service I really liked my hair cut and highlights. So, I booked another appointment for today at 10:00 am. I arrived for my appointment at 9:50 am. At 10:15 the women who does gel nails only(she informed me) asked me who my appointment was with and then said she thought she’d be arriving shortly. Another stylist arrived(late) and took another women back to begin her haircut. At that time they offered me water. At 10:30 I left the store. Nicole does good work. My issue is time. I don’t have it to waste. Seeing the other stylist was also late(I heard the woman say her appointment was for 10:00 and her stylist arrived at 10:10 and took her back at 10:15) leads me to assume(and I know assumptions make asses and all that but in this case it’s a warning for you) that time or rather my time is not important to this salon. They charge at a high rate(the first time I paid approximately 200.00 for a cut/highlights and tip on medium length hair). For this amount of money you can go to a high end salon where they serve you wine and treat you like a guest. I did give this salon two chances and on a side note it’s almost 2:00 pm(my appointment was 10:00 am this morning) and I haven’t received a phone call asking where I am… or what happened to me. I thought Nicole might call and apologize or someone might call and follow up with me… but I have not received any calls. I hope you have a better experience, but just be warned these were my experiences.

Understaffed, usually a line and nobody around to help with questions. Has basics but can be pricey. Look for coupon in Sunday Newspaper ads

I’ve visited this location a few times and with each visit I always leave disappointed. The staff/beauty associates are not familiar with their products, seems when I ask specific questions they are never really sure how to answer them. This location is seriously lacking in product knowledge & customer service. The entire staff should head on over to SEPHORA and take a training course!!! It’s no wonder why this location is always dead, the atmosphere they create is not very inviting.

Lesson learned. There’s no such thing as promotions at hair salons. I rarely get my hair done professionally because it gets pricey, and sometimes I can have a friend or family member do it. I decided to get it done professionally again just because its been a while, and because they had a promotion for $ 50 cut, color, and style. When I called over the phone to book an appointment for the promotion, the guy informed me that the color was semi-permenant, not permanent(Great…of course, whatever let’s do it anyway) then he tells me that they will charge me an extra ten dollars for every extra ounce of hair color they have to use on me. I told him my hair was barely hitting my shoulders, and he said I should be fine. So I booked it. My appointment was at 230 and Trang was ready for me. The people who aren’t there for the promotion got to sit at the regular hair stations. The people who were doing the promotion sat at this dinky side bar area. Then she took a look at my hair and told me that she’s going to have to charge me an additional 20 because of the amount of hair I have. Ummm… what? My hair is at my shoulders and I swear it is not that thick. Is this promotion for people with boy hair or what? Anyway, I asked her if she could do the cut first and she said no. Umm.rude. so you’re trying to jip your customers by coloring the hair that they’re gonna have cut off anyway? I understand that most places want to color the hair first, so that it gets washed, and then they could cut it. But her interpersonal skills and service was just way off when she was trying to explain everything to me. I went ahead and went through with it anyway since I really wanted my hair done, and I made a memo to complain to the manager later and write a Unilocal review. she started coloring my hair and didn’t say a single word to me. It was so awkward and uncomfortable. I usually love getting hair or nails or whatever done cause its a fun experience. But not with trang. She even said out loud to her fellow coworker«I’m so glad todays the last day of the promotion.» Wow what a bitch to say that in front of me, soo rude! While my hair was processing the dye, she went on to work on another customer, which is fine… except I had to tell an employee to wash out my hair because Trang was taking too long to come back to me. It was annoying. It would have been nice of her to let me know how much longer I would be waiting for. So then she cut it and styled it. I ended up liking my color and cut. But this review is for bad service. I spoke to a manager afterwards(who was extremely kind). She took off the additional $ 20. Anyway, 2 hours of being uncomfortable was not worth the good cut & color. Kudos to the nice manager

This place is like sephora, but not as many brands and not as fun — sephora allows you to try on their different products. You can earn points and redeem them for products as well as salon services — that is a big plus. The place is open, and definitely less cluttered than Sephora. The location is not very visible. It is in Bella Terra, at the bottom level right next to Burlington Coat Factory. If my friend didn’t go there, I would never have known that the store was even there.

I asked the girl at the salon about making an appointment to get a cut and color done, right off the bat she was rude. She seemed upset that I had bothered her to ask a question. I filled out a piece of paper with all of my info and gave it to her. She entered it in and asked again what I wanted, then asked when I would want an appointment. I said today or tomorrow. She instantly said there was an opening today, which scared me a bit. She booked me and did not tell me the price, I had to ask her how much. It was 150.00 for what I wanted, which seems a bit pricey to me. After much thinking I decided to cancel my appointment because if this girl was rude to me for asking her to do her job I figured it would be just as bad with the stylist. I promptly called and canceled my appointment. After waiting a while for someone to pick up the phone, the girl that had helped me early happened to pick up and was rude. I said I wanted to cancel the appointment I had made because something had come up, she asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said I did not know when I would be able to, and that I would call myself. She angrily said THANKS and hung up. RUDE.

It’s been awhile since the last review, so maybe there was a changing of the guard because my visit was great. I met Janet before I made my appointment to make sure she was familiar and experienced with dry cutting and she was. She said she has many curly-haired clients and curly hair herself when it isn’t processed straight(like right now) and she could not have been sweeter, nicer or done a better job. I love my cut and have been getting many compliments on it. Prices are fair and if there is a promo going on, the prices are even better. Highly recommend her!

Absolutely unorganized and unprofessional. The lady I generally go to for waxing was completely booked and I was going on vacation in a couple of days. Hmm… Ulta or nail salon? Well I chose wrong. Boy was I probably safer going to some shady nail salon. Reservations were made right away. Probably a dead giveaway that this was going to be horrific. The staff was rude when I came in. The lady I had an appointment with though was nice but super inexperienced. Room was cold, super stark and a bit unsanitary. 50 minutes later(!!!) I walked out of there in pain. I had wax all over and my skin was a bright red. Never again will I cheat on my esthetician!
