Hue Aveda Salon

I recently went to Jaqualyn here and she did an amazing job! I had her blonde up my hair and she did perfect! There was no orange tints no yellow tint it was the perfect blonde highlights which is very hard because I am mexican and usually people can’t get the orange yellow tints out! I high recommend going to Jaqualyn if you visit this salon!

Ingrid did good! Loved the fact she listened to me. Didn’t exactly Turn out like the photo (probably because different hair texture than model in photo). I told Ingrid I wanted volume but to keep the length and she absolutely did it she did something that I have never seen any other stylist do… she gave me layers but she cut «deeper «kind of hard to explain. pretty much give me more dimensional volume. My hair has grown out to look pretty much better then when I walked out of the salon I really like her and I hope she stays for a long time as she just got promoted to senior stylist. job well done!

This review is difficult. I’m giving the two stars because the employees are so helpful and nice, & they throw in little extras like hot tea, a scalp massage, and a hand treatment. It feels really luxurious!
However… if I had to review based on the end product of my hair, I’d have to give zero stars. I hate my hair. I went in for a cute bob, (a la Julianne Hough, Lucy Hale, & Sarah Hyland), and the result isn’t even close to what I wanted. It’s the proper length, I’ll give it that much, but everything else is so wrong that I don’t even know how to make it right. It was layered too much, with the short pieces starting at about ear-​height, and what’s worse is it’s not layered evenly. It’s choppy & I can see where one layer ends & the next one is. I literally can’t do anything to it to make it look how I wanted, or even close to decent. I tried just blow drying, I tried salt spray for texture & messiness, I tried straightening, I tried curling. All to no avail. I’ve resigned myself to just bobby pinning it up.
It’s so sad, because my hairdresser, Suzanne, was so kind and fun to talk to, & she was very meticulous about her work. But from the end result, I can tell she just isn’t as experienced as I would’ve hoped for. I’ve never had a haircut I didn’t like and I was so excited about this one. I wanted cute hair for the new year, and instead, I paid $ 40 to hide it & just wait for it to grow out.
Now the search continues to find a good salon…

I love the ambiance at this salon. All the staff is super friendly, they are very skilled and professional too. Even though it’s located in an area that is high traffic and craziness you feel as if you’re walking into a spa for a quick getaway. Prices range from average to expensive depending on the service but the quality of the work is excellent and the products used are high end. If you love to take care of yourself then pamper yourself here. It’s absolutely worth it!

Closed early… Somewhat annoying after driving here and battling for parking for 15 min just to grab some hair stuff

This Salon is fantastic. The plaza where it is located is extremely busy but there is a parking garage in the back of the plaza so it’s really not that big of a deal to find parking. I’ve been here quite a few times now and wanted to wait until I visited a few times before I reviewed. The employees at this salon are very nice and helpful. The prices are reasonable. The salon is cheery, very clean and well organized. They have an array of Aveda products to purchase if you so choose but the employees do not pressure any type of product purchase. My haircut always turns our amazing! I highly recommend!

I have been coming in to work with Suzanne for several visits now, and I can honestly say my hair has never looked healthier, and my cut and color is always even better than I ever hoped it would look! Her prices are very reasonable for this salon — so book NOW with Suzanne before her costs rise and DO take advantage of some quality work in a top notch salon for a great price! Super nice lady, too. Love everything about her! (And trust me, I’m very choosy about my hair.) She’s amazing! Also — the entire experience is top quality luxury. An aromatherapy scalp massage to relax prior to any treatment/​cut. The will bring tea, water, etc, and it’s super relaxed and elegant — The location could not be better for a salon like this and the quality is truly 100% top quality. Love this place!

I love Stephanie doing my eyelashes !!! She does an absolutely amazing job !!! She only works on Wednesday’s so if your thinking of getting your lashes done … she is a definite must go to !!!

I referred my niece to go here to get her medium brown hair colored/​bleached into a light blonde. The stylist gave a quote over the phone of $ 150 then charged about $ 100 more when the service was done. My niece is 15 so she had to call her mom for the extra money because she only had a gift card for the amount quoted. Then her hair turned out to be a brassy yellow not blonde. I have been going here for about 10 years and sadly all the good stylists made a mass exodus starting about 6 months ago. DO NOT go here!!! It used to be amazing but has sadly gone downhill.

I’ve been waiting to write this review until I’d gone a few times and I’m glad to say I love it! I am super picky when it comes to my hair especially when it comes to how the color is processed. Jacquelyn S. has done an amazing job, I’ve had a problem in the past with other salons and stylists when it comes to highlights coming out orange/​brassy and Jacquelyn gets its just right a nice blonde with a beige tone.
The salon is great nice calming atmosphere, neck, scalp abs shoulders massaged before color/​cut Snd a great hand/​forearm massage/​treatment while getting your hair washed, heaven I tell you!
It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

My Go-​to-​place for some Indulgent Pampering & Stress Relief; plus the Aveda products are the Best!!!

First time. I was greeted very warm and right away. I must say the front desk staff are very sweet girls. I was given a choice of cold ice water or hot tea, and I must say the tea is very delicious. After a few minutes I was taken back and began my appointment. I was a given a stress relief massage with essential oils which I thought was very nice and relaxing and set Salon Hue from all the other salons. Then I was taken to the sink to have my hair washed. I was in heaven. It was so relaxing and while I waited for my conditioning mask to work its magic in was a given a hand and arm massage. Amazing! Finally I was taken to my Stylist Tammy and she made me beautiful. Tammy was great very sweet and easy to talk to. Thanks so much Tammy for making me feel so comfortable and beautiful. See you again!

I love getting my hair done by Tami M. It’s a nice experience to get your hair cut at Aveda. I like the stress fix massage on my scalp and shoulder massage before my hair wash. The hair wash is nice because you get a hand and arm massage, talk about being ultra relaxed and ready for a nap! Tami is very experienced and really listens to what you want with your haircut and is helpful to offer ideas on what would work for you. I am looking forward to booking an appointment for a color service. One more thing, Aveda hair products are the best!

I have been coming here for 2 years now. I’ve pretty gotten everything done here. From cutting my bang straight, dyed my hair, and etc. Cici is the most talented stylist! She has never disappointed me. Every single hair cut, I’ve gotten compliments left and right. She knows what looks good with you face and what doesn’t look good.
I’ve had so many bad experiences in the past. It was so hard to find someone that I could trust with my hair. After my first cut with her, I knew I could trust her. Thank you so much for everything! You make me look good :)

I’ve been going to this Hue Salon since last year and I can say I am very glad that I have found a hair salon that I will continue to go for a long time. The customer service is fantastic and everyone is so friendly. I get my haircut done from the amazing CiCi. I definitely, 100% recommend her. Her attention to detail is incredible and any style you would like she can do it no problem. I just recently changed my hair style and I am absolutely loving it. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to cut my hair then here. If anyone out there is looking for a salon and someone to cut their hair I would definitely go to Hue Salon and ask for CiCi! ¹⁰⁰⁄₁₀₀.

I haven’t gotten a facial in a year or so, and let’s just say I’m so glad that I got one done by Eva. She made the whole experience just perfect! Not only did I get a facial but also added the plant peel that feels absolutely refreshing! And course a complimentary arm, shoulder and hand massage! Thanks a bunches can’t wait to go in next month!

My wife purchased products there and had to return them. The girls were very understanding and refunded our money no questions asked. They truly try to satisy their clients.

Went back to Stephanie Vallejo to have her help me donate my hair to charity. I told her i wanted it short between my shoulders and ears, something I’ve never done before. She cut the pony tails for the charity then did my cut and color! It’s amazing! I never thought I’d like short hair but she never fails me! Thank you Stephanie for my amazing new do and for helping me help charity! I’ll never go to anyone else.

I am going to say it: I miss Lindsay. When I found out she was leaving, I initially planned on following her up to LA, but with a new promotion at work, I simply didn’t have the time. I was devastated. Lindsay: I miss you!
After months of waiting it out, my hair started breaking off and the colored had faded so I knew I needed to do something. I called Hue and the receptionist suggested Cici, who I had never seen before.
Flash forward three visits later: initially, I just had her touch up the color Lindsay did, then asked her to chop off my locks, and finally (and most recently) asked Cici for something a little more fun and sassy. She took me to the shortest my hair has ever been as well as put in some natural balayage and ashed out (read: silvery and werewolf-​y and GORGEOUS) ends. On top of her phenomenal skill, she is such a sweetheart and a pleasure to speak to every time I see her. Thank you, Cici!

Molly is the bomb! Tier 2 stylist that has a good eye and knows what she’s doing– I always walk out with something different that I love. The salon itself is beautiful, very clean, simple and smells amazing, unlike other salons which seem to just smell like chemicals (they sell the candles which are my absolute favorite), their services are decently priced since it really is quality you’re paying for. I can always feel the difference between the Aveda brand and others I’ve used. Hot towels, hand massages, relaxing scalp rub and hot tea really pull together my experience here to be one that I always look forward to.
Also– Look online or call to ask them about promotions since they always seem to have something cool going on.
