I’ve been shopping there for years. The staff is always mega friendly. I’m almost 50 and still rocking skate highs and my son does too. Nice people, killer management…

Every time I come into this store all of the associates are so friendly and inviting. Really cute clothes and shoes and they usually have good deals. Jessica is the best she gives excellent customer service and she is very attentive. Can’t wait to shop more!!!

I came in for a pair of shoes but the ones I want were out. So the friendly sales associate offer to call another location and have them ready for pickup saving me time. I will definitely be shopping here again and strongly recommend this store!

Amazing staff! Amazing deals going on right now. They do everything you need to help you find what you are looking for. I haven’t had a shopping experience like that in a while overall great store and great people. :)

We live in HB and this is our Fav vans store. I Will never go anywhere else. Have brought my son in numerous times for shoes and the guys are always so nice and extremely helpful and always measure his foot first to see which size he’s in bc he’s growing so fast. Last week we went in w/​o him and a super cool dude helped us (Nick) with which skateboard he should have for his age/​height. He had been using an old one that was really small. So today we took him and he got his first real board! I love how helpful and friendly the associates are here, regardless if I’m shopping for myself or a first grader.

Went to Vans to pick up some shoes for my nephew who was in my wedding, called to verify that they had the shoes before I drove down there and the lady on the phone said they did. When I got to Vans there were 3 sales people working… no one offered to help for the first couple min. so I asked about the pair on hold, etc & they were the wrong shoes. no biggie– I got him a diff pair… I then was looking for myself and found the perfect pair of vans to wear during my ceremony of my wedding. purple sequence. When I finally got the girls attention she brought me a pair, tried one on and purchased the two pairs. Samantha was the girl that ended up helping me.
On my wedding day… the shoes for my nephew didnt fit so no bueno there but not anyones fault at Vans… My shoes on the otherhand just about ruined my day… they gave me two RIGHT FEET and to top it off they were different sizes! So two of my friends (bless there hearts) missed my wedding ceremony and went to a diff vans store to pick me up the shoes that were the same size and a right and left.
When I went back into vans in HB last week to return the shoes that we were unable to wear, the cashier didnt apologize. just said «if it makes you feel better she doesnt work here anymore»… Seriously, that’s how you deal with it!!! Def. wont be back to this vans store!

RACISM AT THE VANS STORE
Yesterday (11 of april 2011) i went to the Vans store located at the 5 points plaza in HUNTINGTON BEACH and right when the blond seller saw me speaking portuguese (I am from Brazil) she changed completely. I asked her a bigger size of a tennis shoe and she said «ok, I’ll get it». AND DIDN’T. She kept talking to her bitch girlfriend and went to another customer. AFTER 10 minutes standing next to her and waiting for the shoe, I asked again and she became a smart ass and asked me «Oooohh, so are going to get anything?» I say «YES, I am still waiting for the shoe.» After another few minutes, she IGNORED ME AGAIN and didn’t go get it. All she did was playing a smart ass to impress her co-​worker friends and had the courage to ask me in a fast way, with the intention of me to do not understand and play the silly, If I would buy anything from the store. I said «excuse me?» and she replied «Nothing», and left with a stupid smile on her face. I say YES and when I finally called my husband to complain about the embarracement I was putting through, she finally got me the God Dammit shoe.
There was 2 ladies working there. The blond treated me with a difference thinking i was not going to buy anything, probably because I was a foreigner. The brunnete was telling a mexican boy that probably works on the store for cleaning «I am going to make you scrub the toilet with your tooth brush». I am sure she was «joking», but I don’t think this is an appropriated joke to make in front of the clients, this is public humiliation and If I was him, I would do something about it. Who the fuck this 2 sellers think they are?
PS: I don’t care if they try to say something different about what happened. I was in the company of 2 more people and they saw everything.

I love vans shoes!!! They last FOREVER! This store had a great selection, and the staff was very helpful… I was looking for the Yo Gabba Gabba shoes for my daughter and found the pink hi tops here, I also wanted the slip ons so the girl who helped me called all the surrounding stores until she found the shoes in my daughters size. Although they are on the expensive side (especially when kids grow so fast) my daughter LOVES her Yo Gabba Gabba shoes and that is the most important thing :)

Vans are some of my favorite brands of kicks of all times. This is my store. The staff is great and always get me up and out without a lot of hassles. They always stock my size (Size 13 for the lady Unilocalers) and I am on my way. Great store, great shoes and killer size foot.

The Vans store at the Five Points Shopping Plaza. From the name you should be able to tell that it sells Vans shoes and apparel.
The store is small to medium sized but packed with items.
Do not expect amazing service here. You have to have guessed already a bunch of skaters and surfer work here. Despite that, I got great service.
The merchandise is good with good selection.

Oh my… oh goodness. Well, I usually like these stores. As a matter of fact, I get shoes from these store quite often. I’ve been getting my shoes from Vans since I was a little tyke. It’s just this particular Vans that I went into I didn’t like. It wasn’t because of the shoes, it wasn’t because of the store décor, nooo, it was because of the lame staff. I swear, nothing turns me off more than a bunch of stoner looking douchebag guys running around the store and talking like they are Spicoli from the 1970’s, grotesque! Ugh! The guy that was helping was this short 5’6 douchebag that seriously was probably either high as a kite, or just really retarded from all the weed he probably most likely smokes. I asked him about 20 billion times for a size 10 or 9, and he kept coming out with the wrong shoe size, the wrong shoe, or the wrong shoe and size. IDIOT! OMG, you don’t even want to know how badly irritated I was after I FINALLY got the right shoe! I held my composure though, I don’t particularly like to yell at people for being retarded, I think it’s tacky.
Oh well, I like Vans, just not this particular one, because of their lame staff. Hire some new employees, then we’ll see.

i like this store the most because the associates take the effort to find sizes for u in the back. and they’re realy friendly and approachable. the selection is HUGE. u can find anything from the velcro prisoners to the slip ons. but yeah. they didnt have my size for my velcro so they called other stores to ask. so thats a plus +++

Great selection, at least 100 different styles on the wall to choose from! They had just had a sale so some of their sizes were out of stock, but since I had so many to choose from it was easy to find something in my size that I liked. The clothes are good to, and the people were helpful, bringing me out about 6 pairs of shoes of slightly different sizes!

So this store only sells Vans and Vans clothing. Go figure since it is called the Vans Store. It doesn’t really take a smart person to put two and two together to figure that out. Really, the Vans store sells Vans. Hard, right?
So I pretty much cried a river when I found out the price of slipons. I remember the days of Vans pushing the $ 35 mark and now they are $ 50 plus at the Vans store. Either I am really old now or not making enough. Either way, it’s a lot easier to get Vans on the Internet for a better price or at another store like Shoe Locker a few miles away. So chose your poison and get your wallet ready!
Where the Vans store shines is the selection of Vans. The only other place I’ve seen so many choices for Vans in a store is in New York. And well, New York is New York so no complaints there. The service was good and the store was clean. So if you want to gawk at expensive Vans, head on over.
