The wait is very long. What I ordered didn’t require to take 40 mins of waiting. And this isn’t the first time either. But this will be the last time!

Still keep going here best pupusas for only a dollar everyday. I would HIGHLY recommend calling in advance since they tend to take awhile to make them. Originally that was one of my biggest disappointments with them but ever since I started calling in advance everything’s been fine, the customer service could be more friendly but it’s a work in progress I guess. They take cash mainly and charge you a dollar extra for debit. Not sure about credit cards.

The customer service in this place is the worst. My husband went in to eat and was over priced and the waitress that helped him was rude and had a bad mouth. Cursing in front of customers and worst part children! It took the waitress over 30mins just to give him his drink. Who irresponsible of the owner and management to hire people like that. We aren’t in El Salvador where they speak with no censorship!!!

Slow service, it’s dirty. The cashier makes you wait for like 10 min before even acknowledging you. I only tried this place because the one they have on Compton and 75^th has the best service and tastes great. This will be my first and last time I come to this location. I rather go to the other one.

SLOW SERVICE!!! Pupusas are not great at all the flavor is tasteless more dough then what it has inside. Not impressed at all! The best pupusas in Huntington Park is El Cojutepeque on Pacific Blvd. slow service too but wayyyyy better than this place. Not good whatsoever.

This place deserves no stars it was smelly and tables were very dirty the service was awful and the pupusas are a joke the waitresses were also dirty and rude I don’t understand how this place is part of a chain of restaurants

Do not go here. The way they overwork their employees (16 hour days with 15 min breaks where they are required to stand the entire time), and where they penalize them $ 10 for every broken plate (more than what they earn per hour) — it is appalling. No wonder you guys say the service is bad.

Pupusas are $ 1 everyday they are small, but full of flavor. Great variety of salvadorean food. Kids menu is tastey for the kids, hamburgers, fried chicken, burritos, chili cheese fies are to name a few. Enjoy

Pupusas are good and just $ 1 each, service is awfully slow and not so friendly. They have a letter «B» grade, the «Curtido» (salad that comes with the Pupusas) are served in Tupperware which is nasty specially because it doesn’t taste fresh, the salsa is not the best. Take your money elsewhere like the restaurant across the street next to the «99 cents Only Store» is 100% better just a bit pricey but worth it.

I would have given no star if that was possible. Horrible service. Let’s start off with that my normal Pupusa place (across the street from this one) was closed today. I saw a sign and well I walked in. Didn’t see the B rating till after. The cashier or waitress was rude and the whole place was tacky. Which is understandable because of the city but this was ridiculous. I placed my order of 2, TWO Pupusas and it took just about an hour. It was placed at 2:04pm on a slow Monday afternoon and received them at basically 3pm. Horrible experience over all. I would not recommend and probably won’t try again, even if the restaurant across the street is closed.

this place sucks they took forever to make our food so we asked for our money back because we had to go back to our school at Uei across the street from them. And the owner told me to shut up that the food will be ready and to just save it for later. Everyone knows seafood cannot be saved if it’s not kept in a refrigerated area because it will get spoiled, I told this to the owner and she told me to shut up that she wasn’t talking to me that she was talking to my friend and I told her lady your english sucks she doesn’t even understand what you’re trying to say to her so I’m telling you to just give us our money back she told me again to shut the hell up and then went up to my face and told me to hit her that she knew that I wanted to hit her that it will bring her a great pleasure if I did. now what kind of service is that… this place should be shutdown completely not only did they messed up on our stuff they also messed up on a entire families order that were waiting for their food way before us. And then her son had the nerve to tell me to stop screaming at his mother. If I wanted our money back that I should have asked for it since the beginning if he would have been paying attention since the beginning he would have known That’s what we were asking for and then before us leaving, his mother the owner have the decency to scream at me and tell me is this the way you treat your mother. at least my mother having a business when her customers ask for the refund back she gives it back to them on like this lady. This place should be closed down

This place does not deserve even half of a star. Their service is awful. There is a lady with short black hair who has a pitiful attitude, no sense of customer service, bitter and unhappy to work in a restaurant setting. Not only did it take long to get my order placed and made, they also managed to screw it up, so when I rightfully asked for a refund, she had the audacity to tell me no. Embarrassingly enough there was a family there before me complaining about how their order was not taken correctly. That should have been enough for me not to go through with placing an order with them. Instead I gave them a chance. Never again

The best food I’ve eating in a long time hands down good food takes time to make so don’t mind the wait come try it for your self u won’t be disappointed trust me mmmmmmm

The food is okay. The price is pretty affordable but the service is pretty bad. Also they built a new stage and outdoor patio but it wasn’t done well.

Pupusas are delicious! BUT their customer service is horrible, they take FOREVER to serve food, i went with my husband and his plate was served first but not mine mine took another extra 15 mins to be served, orders should be served together, waittress never came to the table to ask if we were ok everytime we needed something i had to get up from my table and go look for her in the kitchen… im coming back just because i loved the taste of the pupusas

Oh hell no this place, the service sucks a** we waited over one hour for pupusas. The entire time of the wait, the waitress didn’t bother to ask for a drink refill. Worst place ever not coming back again. Don’t waste your time or money on this ish.

They take forever for an order. Really slow and not nice people. Food was not good. Not a good place to eat

I agree with most Unilocalers, customer service is so bad. Took them almost 45 mins for our order (1 pupusa 2 cockteles de camaron) we did almost walk out. The food itself wasn’t horrible, but It wasn’t crazy good either just «meh». Not worth the price and lack of service. Has 2 stars bc they gave my mom a free pupusa out of «courtesy»

The pupusas are the business here. I found this spot on my way to in-​n-​out just down the block and decided against it as it was way to packed. Busted a bitch back and POW! Saw the sign «$ 1 Pupusas» Couldn’t resist figuring it was getting late and no customers inside. I ordered 2 plain cheese and dos de loroco. Pupusas are hand made upon order so you get them nice and fresh. They come with a cabbage type of topping and some kind of chilli sauce. Really, really good Pupusas.
They have other dishes on the menu but I’ve yet to try. Everything looks good and home made. The CS is good but looks like it’s a two man crew working the kitchen and could be overwhelmed on a busy day. Metered parking on Pacific Blvd can be limited. Hope you folks like the Pupusas I loved them and will be a frequent customer.
P. S. Usage of a fork to eat Pupusas will cause extremely horrible looks from the natives at neighboring tables. (jk)
