Tommy’s Original World Famous Hamburgers

Sorry but you got my order wrong in the drive thru. I ordered a double got a single. Never ever done me wrong before, now I can’t give you my full recommendation. Dropped 1 star.

Tommy’s Huntington Park location is our classic burger joint great service great food if you live, visit or just passing through this is a must you won’t be disappointed thanks guys keep up the good work

I love Tommy’s, but stay clear from this place. They WILL over charge you. I confronted them for over charging me and they tried to make me feel stupid.
I asked for the manager and called their corporate office. No one cared. My understanding was «you do not like it– leave.» I will never purchase anything from this or any TOmmy location.
If you do decide to purchase double check your receipt because chances are they ripped you off.
I contacted a lawyer and they stated there was nothing I could do, but it was illegal. I guess Tommy’s thinks the customer does not know how to read their receipts. Given that 99% are from latin decent they figured no one has the power or will to complain or report them.
BUYER BEWARE

As a kid My family and I would visit this place very often after Sunday church. This was in the 90’s. It had been a while since I was here, and I decided to stop by with my family. The food was good, but nothing like it used to be. A little upset at the service. It seemed that they were really busy as ususal, but I would at least expect them to acknowledge our presence. They saw us standing at the window for about 5 minutes, and they never bothered to say anything to us.

Let’s just say I was craving Tommy’s since Friday and my husband made me very happy today. The food was ready asap and no line plus we were starving. I recommend to anyone who’s had a long day and wants to enjoy a nice cold day outside with a warm chili cheese burger with lots of pickles, fresh fries and a cold soda. My husband and I do not feel bad in fact are tummy’s are full and happy. Did I say a had my kale already lol… I invited my husband to share a chili cheese hot dog it was his first time having one. The first thing that popped in his head «beef «he liked it. Messing YES! but the BOMB!

Utter garbage. At first I thought a chili-​themed burger joint was interesting, I was soon proven wrong. This place is honestly just a mess. Ive only been at this establishment twice and purchased a burger both times. Both times, the burger came out to become messy mediocre monster that was too big for it’s own good. I’m really suprised this shop has been open for more than two years because I believe it should just disappear from existence. As I write this review, I sit at my toilet, creating a hell-​ish hurricane from my backside from this nightmare fuel that they call food. Please don’t eat here, instead, just go to one of the many fine/​not-​mediocre resturaunts in the area instead.
(P.S. I asked for a strawberry milkshake and they gave me softserved icecream in a cup (which the cup had slits in it so it leaked) and the ice cream could not go through the straw.)

I live in Gardena and this Tommy’s was the closest location. I came by around 11pm and went through the drive-​thru. If I chose to eat in the front, there was parking. Young Hispanic gentlemen helped and he was pleasant and helpful. However, the order was incorrect on the hamburger and I asked him to remake it and another older gentlemen got upset about it. Other than that, I Ordered chili cheese fries and it was very hot and chili was as always on point.

A really great place for a late night bite to eat, but somewhat of a bad drive thru service.
What they need is an upgrade at the drive thru speaker eaither that or they employees are really hard at hearing, any the food is really good for chilli lovers.

The workers were really friendly and helpful, though the neighborhood itself was slightly intimidating at night. We decided to go here and try it out; the food itself was pretty good but not something I would go out of my way for. Definitely worth trying out if you’re around the area.

Chick screwed up my order after 5 times of repeating and re-​phrasing the order. Tommy’s is Southern California’s greatest guilty comfort food, and this location has seriously let down the rest of the group.
Dirty tables… had no idea what an Arnold Palmer was… come on. I drove seriously out of my way, and I expected more!

I came here for there famous chili, when I arrived I order the cheeseburger guy ask me if I wanted the patty bigger for like a dollar more I said yeah why not, I arrived home to eat my burger. I was greatly disappointed patty was your average size, the chili sauce had no flavor at all. Matter fact the burger was plain. Should have gone to In n out as I planned too

I grew up within a one mile radius from this Tommy’s and can remember when they started building it back in 1987. This foodie haven is a classic landmark here in the city of H.P. You either love Tommy’s or you don’t.
Chili is heavy and hearty so I usually go with just a classic chili cheeseburger easy onions no fries. If you are with company I would recommend splitting one order of chili cheese fries. I’ve had the chili cheese dog and is one of the best chili dogs hands down. Also on the menu are the tamales which are pretty damn good too. They also have milkshakes which is an off the menu item. They’re good and thick like the chili.
Service here is top notch and food has always been served properly. It’s also open 24-​hours 7 days a week for the night owls and zombie killers.

Its a nice place, good service, good fries… but also is The perfect place to get a heart attack.

This review is based solely on the chili cheese fries, for a place known for their chili, I was expecting more.
I am going to take the liberty and disagree with everyone saying these are «the best chili cheese fries» they are NOT!
Their chili is a lame excuse for chili, I cant believe the taste of this stuff! It definitely isn’t fresh by any means not that I was expecting quality from fast food but there is no other way to describe it other than straight up cafeteria food one would find in public schools or a hospital !

I really enjoy coming here, everything is always delicious. There is just a slight problem everyone is always polite, but one guy he was gives us attitude and basically almost throws out the food threw the window and it always happens we come here because it’s convenient for us. But not everyone enjoys working drive thru. (its the fat cantiflas look alike). He really need to be changed positions or just simply stop working there. MY OPINION

tommys is the destination when you want some real deal chili burgers or chili dogs. Healthy? no way… this is the pinnacle of junk food! — calories? — who cares?
have a tommy burger and experience real food coma!

I loveee the Tommy’s chili burger. I always get the #2 combo. It never gets old. The employees are friendly and hospitable.

I stopped in for a burger which was good but I felt it was too much chili beans. The chili cheese fries were better!

There is nothing finer than the gut churning chili at Tommy’s. This is my ultimate guilty pleasure. Double chili cheeseburger, chili cheese fries. Feel your arterial walls thicken as you enter the drive thru. In-​N-​Out is nice; Tommy’s is the place when you want to get down and dirty.

Food is always okay. But The girl who takes the order is so dumb.
She always gave me wrong stuff. I did not order fries and I wanted double cheese burger, not the single one! She is always like that.
