Applebee’s

I won’t be commenting on the food, you should know what your getting into if you decide to eat at Applebees! (Salty!!)
I’m not an Applebee’s type person but the only reason my family and I ate here was because of its convenience. My wife, 2 kids (2yr and 3months) and I were at Nordstrom Rack, Petsmart and Carters and it was simply convenient when it came time to eat.
One thing I noticed at this location they have these touchscreen monitors and if your not careful will charge your bill to play the games. The manager says there’s a confirmation sign that pops up to charge your bill however, I never saw it. I assume it’s just a single button to confirm. The only thing I can think of is my son must have pressed the «Confirm» button right when we sat down without us knowing because the game charge showed up on our bill. When I spoke to the manager after the bill came he said the charge couldn’t be reversed. I walked him through the program and showed him that no where did it ask to confirm the charge. It took quite a bit of pleading on my side but he eventually agreed to «discount» the bill the same amount to offset the charge.
Other than that hiccup our waitress was great and patient with us (the manager was a pain to deal with) and the «game charge» was added on top of her tip.
My advise to customers, remove the touchscreen away from the kids or ask your server to remove it completely.
My advise to Applebees, remove the tablet from the tables completely. It’s not necessary but if it must stay, you should implement a, «Enter this code» for confirmation so kids can’t activate it without parents permission.

Ordered takeout. Half of it was cold and barely filled the box. They weren’t even appetizers…

Came here at the end of December with my 3 sister in laws before I headed back to Maryland. Service was ok/​decent considering it’s a chain. The one thing that really annoyed me was the girl who ran some of our food my sister in laws still had their salads and we’re still eating them (they had just gotten them 5 minutes prior) the girl dropping off the food literally said to my sister in law «can you move your dreaming salad before I drop this plate on the table? «with the nastiest tone ever! I was literally taken aback … I’ve served for the past 7 years and I still serve to this day I would never speak to a customer like that. Told a manager he didn’t seem to care and he even told my waitress who came over and literally asked us if we thought she was rude. Extremely unprofessional staff here. The GM did reach out to me which I appreciate but I haven’t gotten back to her yet. Busy with being nice to my customers and enjoying my 10 month old. Doubtful we will be back when we are in Huntington again.

Hostess was inconvenienced that he had to set up tables, and said so out loud. Our waiter was great on the other hand.

Heard a commercial on the radio about low calorie entrees, while I was driving by, so not to listen to my better judgement I ventured in. Service was good, but the food is horrible. Fiesta lime chicken, loaded with salt and tasteless, I guess that’s why the high sodium content or maybe it’s used as a preservative. Most of the entrée was rice and tortilla chips. Drinks are terrible, bottom shelve liquor on the two drink special and either two sweet or two sour to drink. Was never offered dessert, just handed the bill. This was a horrible experience, and shall never return. By the way, do you notice anything in the store photo… Empty!!!

I know the calorie count is supposed to help me masks healthier choices, but here it’s either unhealthy or heart-​stopping… So might as well go all the way with it.
First of all, the addition of the Coney Island hard root beer is an awesome one. Four for you Applebee’s, you go Applebee’s! (And none for TGI Fridays bye)
You know I’m a sucker for honey bbq when I go for it as an appetizer and an entrée — I can’t help it, they’re pretty good for a chain restaurant! Mushy fries, but what can you do. The fiancée loved her spinach dip too, even if her margarita was so-​so.
Lastly, s’mores churros? Brilliant. And, you know, the least horrifying calorie count.

I went to Applebee’s for their 2-​for-​one drinks and their half off apps. There were no seats at the bar so we chose a high-​top table instead, which I did not mind at all. But then as we tried to get another round of drinks from the bar, the manager yelled at us and said only a server could get us drinks. He was rude and very passive aggressive. He made us feel uncomfortable but Heather wound up being our server and saved our night. She countered the weird vibes given from the manager by being extremely nice and apologizing. Thanks Heather!

The staff was very friendly but the food was terrible. Nothing against it, just not my bag.

My review goes to the LATE NIGHT offer (everyday from 10pm — close). You have a decent amount to choose from in the 2-​for-​1drinks, pair that with half priced appetizers and you get a very cheap and fulfilling late diner! The new salsa verde nachos are surprisingly good, try them! When tipping, keep in mind your check will be half off what it usually is, so tip accordingly.
For the price and food, it is a great deal and way worth it.
Service is a hit or miss, sadly, today was a miss.

Service sucks. Plain and simple. I’m still sitting here writing this. Never received plates for our appetizers, were nearly finished with our quesadillas by the time I was finally able to catch her running by to ask for sour cream (seriously what restaurant doesn’t give your sour cream with them?!) quesadillas seemed to be about half the size as they used to, never brought straws for our drinks, never offered refills or even checked to see how food was until it was finished, zero pre bussing. Intentionally stacked plates in the middle and pushed empty glasses to the end of the table and she just continuously ignored them and left them sitting there. We stood at the host stand for about 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. I’m a server and was genuinely offended by the service. She was nice but that was the extent of it. 2 stars for the average, expected Applebee’s food which was lukewarm and half off so I can’t complain much.

Who the heck puts an OLIVE in a margarita? Pass!

I’m in love with the perfect Margarita. It’s one of the best cocktail they offer… But, the draft beer is another option. This is my go to Sunday cocktail place. The bartenders are always friendly and fast. Appetizer are pretty damn good. Kobe meatballs, chips with cheese dip. Sweet potato fries. I know… my friends say .” it’s Applebee’s” … But I don’t care, I like it… yum.

We went in to have dinner we waited for about 10 minutes then the guy called us to sit when we walked to the table I felt so disrespected the whole floor was filthy you can tell kids was there I asked the Guy can someone clean up the floor he told me sorry and told us someone is coming to clean up 5 minutes later the same guy came back with a broom and dust pan then he told us ok is that better when checked the area again the seats was so dirty food was on the chair broken crayons was everywhere I took my family and left they did not make any effort to change our seats and to make us stay very nasty and staff was rude not pleasant at all

Ugh, it’s fine. It’s applebees. It’s nothing special, they have a decent happy hour and the drinks aren’t too bad. If you’re going for 2 – 1, just get wine or beer. The well/​liquor drinks always taste like water… or maybe I’m used to how I mix my drinks, which is generally 10 000 000 parts liquor to 1 part mixer. IF that’s how you roll, then stick with wine or beer.
Food is way better than Tuesday’s so, do it.

The WORST breakfast EVER. Eggs were rubbery and the pancakes were undercooked, and tasteless.
Why do they still operate at the breakfast hour? Pack it in.

Love this Applebees! The baby back ribs are delish! Very tender & flavorful. I’m obsessing over the cowboy burger cooked medium now. Very tasteful. And for the dessert… chocolate chip sundae! Served with a warm cookie & vanilla ice cream on top!

We are big fans of the Chicken Fajita Rollup! :)

I don’t know why we came here. Not expensive and the food is still not worth it. The service was ok. Never going back.

The food was good its a typical Applebee’s but the service here was horrid !! Dear god we will never go back !

applebee’s is applebee’s.
you get what you pay for, but you can’t beat the prices.
