Benefit Brow Bar at Macy’s

I had my brows done here earlier this year and It took me 2 months to grow out my uneven arches out. I don’t trust anyone with my brows anymore after the terrible service I received.

Beyond disappointing experience at this location. I made an appointment and was greeted by my brow stylist (due to the terrible review I want to refrain from names, I’m not trying to ruin somebody’s livelihood). She was incredibly friendly and very personable. After speaking about what type of shape/​arch I wanted she went to work. My one brow came out perfect… Then we moved on to my other brow.
She painfully pulled the strip up and I instantly felt pain that wasn’t normal. She continued with my brows, and then I looked in the mirror. I had brow powder and concealer added post brow wax, so I couldn’t see the unevenness of my brows at the time (nor the skin ripped off).
I get home to take off my makeup and I started with my eyelid and automatically felt an intense burn. As I take off the makeup I realize she had ripped off my skin, and covered it up with concealer. On top of which, once I took off the brow powder I noticed she screwed up one of my brows BAD. Given, this was always my «party brow» but it was truly a hack job, arches weren’t matched and made too thin, wasn’t a straight line. I cried it was so bad. I’m 7 weeks since and I still haven’t let anybody touch my brows because I’m attempting to grow back in what she hacked away.
This review isn’t to dissuade people from using benefit brow bars. I’ve only trusted them with my brows for over a year, for the most part with satisfaction. However, I’ve never had somebody rip the skin off my brows EVER, not with a $ 8 wax and certainly not with $ 20+ dollar wax. I would never go back to this location, which is a shame since it’s the closest one to my home. Not worth risking having an experience like that ever again.
