Burt Lumber

We needed some specialty lumber items that big box stores such as Home Depot don’t carry, so I called around to local lumber yards, and Burt Lumber was the only one that carried what I needed (tongue and groove 1″ x 6″ cedar).
My father used to shop here when we had more work in west Suffolk, and they still remembered him! And everyone here was so helpful. The customer service here is outstanding.
In addition to having fully stocked lumber items, they also have all your other materials like saw blades, drill bits, the list goes on and on. Go to your left just after the front counter and there’s a whole half– level of stuff waiting to be bought.
Prices are reasonable, too.
You can park in front if there’s space, if not there’s perpendicular parking against the building on the side street.
My only complaint is when it’s time to collect your lumber purchases it appears only one guy is working out back in the early morning, isn’t that a peak time for contractors?
Anyway I like this place better than Home Depot, Feldman, and Lowe’s, so I hope everyone goes here for your lumber needs.
