Top notch service! As an owner of a «fixer upper» I really appreciate all the knowledge of the staff at County Line. The big box stores are not the way to go. County Line offers the type of customer service that is severely lacking in stores like Home Depot.

I stopped in today for the first time as I was in the area and needed a few lag bolts. Just like similar posts indicated there was plenty of help behind the counter and they were all super friendly and super helpful. I had such an enjoyable time I ended up purchasing a few other items that I hadn’t planned on.

County Line is an old school hardware store that we miss now that Home Depot has put most of the places, unfortunately, out of business.
There are always a bunch of people working by the counter who are very friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help you find whatever you need without just pointing at the aisle. You forget what good service is at these places since there are so few left. Their prices are good, probably slightly higher than HD, but you’ll spend alot less time looking for thing.
If you need tools, garbage cans, fertilizer, lights etc… definitely go here. The great service makes it worthwhile and you’re helping support a local business.

Anytime I have needed something that I couldn’t find at the big stores, I’ve always found it here at County Line Hardware. Also, there is always someone available to assist you.

They may be the best business in the Huntington area. They are super helpful, and let me try things before I buy them, they always give good advice. They are a model business, and an inspiration to everyone in the community. I make a point of driving out of my way and not going to home depot to come there. I encourage everyone to do the same!

I love this place. If you’ve ever spent 20 minutes at the HD trying to get someone, anyone to help you then County Line is the hardware store for you. These guys believe in service! You will usually be asked if you need help with anything before the door even closes behind you.
They are my go to store anytime, give em a shot!
Post Irene update, the good folks at County Line we literally saviours of the community. Among other items a constant stock of «D» cell batteries on both Friday and Saturday when everyone else was out. Even still saw a $ 199 chainsaw on their shelf on Sat PM. These guys kept their sense of humor, and helped everyone out as best as they could. Great job you guys!

No reason to go to Home Depot when this place is available. People here help you, know what they’re talking about and prices are fair. It’s fairly large as well so the selection is fairly diverse for what you need.
