Furniture for the home. Dear Ethan Allen, I truly liked what you did in the Revolutionary war and the nice furniture you offer for sale in this era. I have to admit, I tried other furniture places– I strayed but I saw the error of my ways and returned — please forgive me! It was so nice to get back in to your store and meet excellent sales people who know what they speak of and will come right over and measure everything in your home and give you great ideas and on and on… Your prices are high, but hey, I know that piece is going to outlast me. I’ll hand it over, no questions asked. I have to admit, three men and a truck to deliver a chair seems like overkill, but they really did a nice job with the delivery. Really. I’ll be back, I have two more rooms to go… Parking in front.

Ethan Allen’s only sin is their prices. They are expensive, so this store is not for everyone. And the certainly have a particular style, as well. though they have made great strides to vanquish the frumpiness that characterized them in the 90s. The people are nice to work with — they will offer you a free home consultation to make sure you are not making huge design errors(it’s their chance to sell you more stuff, no doubt, but you don’t have to buy) and are very easy to work with. Flexible delivery schedules — and our 1030am Saturday delivery came at 730a — awesome!
