My husband and I bought so many items online from here !!! We decided to go in the store to buy drapes to finish our room(we got rugs and sofas from here all recently delivered). We went yesterday and no one acknowledged me, I was even holding the samples of the items we bought so they can help. They just looked at me and looked away. No one asked to help. I literally was there too long trying to get someone to help. It’s absolutely rude with no customer service !! They seemed to be helping the old to middle aged ppl and I guess they probably thought I was too young to purchase — not sure. It was awful especially since the store is not close to me and was a drive away.

Went in here today with the intention of doing some Christmas shopping. After grabbing some items I stood online for 10 minutes while person in front of me needed to exchange some stuff. I asked if person next to cashier could help me but was quickly and abruptly told that she was training and I would have to wait. Alrighty, I put that one down to being just a nasty crusty cantankerous cow. I asked if anyone else in the store could help me and was just ignored. I put down the items and walked out, fuming with frustration and anger. I have never had a pleasant customer experience in this store. Staff always seems bothered and very pretentious, they seriously need to get over themselves. They have aires and graces that just don’t jive, your cashiers! I have made many purchases over the years and spent a serious amount of money here and promise never to return. Service is seriously broken and they simply opt to continue. Go elsewhere, you will be glad you did.

I’ve been in this store several times in the last year and have never had a good experience. It seems like a bother when I ask a question. I’ve asked for fabric samples and they never have. I had a gift card to spend — once it is spent I will never set foot in this store again. The sales associates are never nice or helpful. I expect service in when I am spending the amount of money that is on my gift card.

If I could go with zero stars I would. I paid 3000 on twin bed, trundle, small chest and an end table. I had no problem with the set I picked until I saw how much they were charging for delivery. They were trying to charge over 500.00 for delivery. That is absolutely crazy. I decided to cancel and go to crate and barel. She said that the main office was going to send me a check in the mail. Instead I got a store credit of 2800. I had to call back and complain. What is really funny about this. On my receipt it says full refund within 7 days. It was the next day I canceled. All this stress for nothing. They are horrible! Save your money.

My wife went to this store today. Apparently had a «Pretty Woman«moment, yet not dressed like it. Staff was not interested in assisting and seemed annoyed when approached to assist with a baby registry from Pottery Barn. Then was troubled to match items we’ve purchased in the past for home. Her headset wasn’t working to interact with staff and was not her problem, really. Thank goodness for online shopping, this could be why sales are down at Brick and mortar stores. Love Pottery Barn & have tons of your products. Happy New Year, maybe the staff there can work from home. Or not.

I ordered a couch from Pottery Barn 3 months ago to make sure I had a new couch in my new house for Christmas, and they told me I would have it on November 19, 2014. I’ve now spent over 3 hours on the phone… twice… trying to find where this couch is, and why it hasn’t been delivered yet, only to be told each time that they are ‘expediting the shipping’, and it will be there soon. Today I called, and asked about the couch again, and not only did they give me the same tired old ‘it will be there soon’, but then said on the 800 number for Pottery Barn that they did not have managers there when I asked to speak to one. I will be refusing delivery of this couch if and when it finally gets here, and hopefully I can get a chargeback to them from my bank without too much hassle since I paid for this on my debit card. Note to self: Don’t pay for things until delivery. Second Note to self: NEVER shop at Pottery Barn again… EVER. I suggest you do the same.

Went in to buy curtains and a curtain rod with my wife. Was helped by Denise. What a pleasurable experience! She was patient and very friendly with us. She went out of her way to see if a certain color curtain was in stock and sure enough we got the last two! It’s quite refreshing to get such great service in a high-end store when you’re only spending a few hundred dollars. I wish more stores in the area had more people like Denise. Friendly, polite, helpful and professional! Who can ask for anything more. My wife and I both walked out smiling and commenting on how terrific Denise was.
