This store only employs mean girls. they forget they are SALESASSOCIATES that are suppose to sell you products, Not make you feel bad for coming into their store. They also don’t carry a lot of brands that other locations have. Don’t ask to many questions either, you’ll get an attitude.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Make up is not cheap and money does not grow on trees so when I especially am interested in trying something new I like to ask more then one question about the product and see if it’s best for me. I went there in the beginning of my mall visit and asked for help about certain bronzes and they were to busy cleaning their make up station(shouldn’t they be doing this before they open?, or even when they close the night before?) anyways I got a big eye roll like it was totally the biggest inconvience for them, after feeling terribly awkard I figured I’d go to my next choice of a store and come back when I’m done and on my way out… Hours later, same thing ! Same treatment! Same shifty looks same terrible customer service /employees !

Had two bad experiences one was months ago didn’t write a review because i wanted to give them a second chance but for one i knew they had a make up program like mac i had asked one of the associates she said there was no such thing so i was honestly furious because she lied there was but i should have told a manager and asked someone then and there regardless went there and spent $ 250 although the associates help was shitty ok so i go to south shore sephora and they tell me i can get my make up done if I scheduled a make up session and then buy $ 50 or $ 90 dollars worth of things which is what i was asking the girl at walt whitman about how annoying right so any how i get on the phone witch customer they offer me a $ 10 off coupon I’m like what that doesn’t add to what it cost to get your make up done so they tell me to call the manager and tell her if she can do a free make up session since it was one of her associates mistake so i call jackie the manager was friendly, understanding and helpful and set up the appointment shes what helped this rating btw because if not they would have gotten a one but she gets 5 stars honestly. Now the associate that did my make she was good she did an amazing job just wish i knew what stuff she used on my face because of what happen next i didnt get her to email or write it down for me. So I obviously went for my free make up session I explained to the girl she was understanding and wanted me to just inform her other manager on duty which I’m ok with which her other manager sheryl or shirley wte her name is made the experience a 1 star because she acted like i was lying and gave me rude faces he whole time and said i would never give a free session for something that was months ago she pretty much made me and my bf feel very uncomfortable we honestly didn’t say anything to anyone else because we just wanted to get out of there but she should be replaced so rude of her and unfortunately she is the manager. Finally her and the associate cleared up with jackie the whole situation yeah they even called her and the associate apologized and thanked a buisness the manager came out gave what you can an angry looked and didn’t even speak to us and as you can tell by the other reviews they need to clean up shop in this place

Let me start by saying their customer service is not good, I’m not saying everyone but most of the girls don’t help everyone and when you finally get someone to help you, they don’t have most of the items you’re looking for so what’s the point of going there if I’m going to waste my time, is not the first time I come here and I can assured you they do not have everything in stock. I guess I’ll end up going back to Macy’s to shopped my Estée Lauder make up or maybe I’ll try Mac since Ulta is another no good store

Awful customer service experience. I am a VIB(over 900 points). I returned 2 items and asked for my money back per receipt. For some reason computer didn’t compute it correctly and worker and manager told me I wouldn’t get the correct amount back. Then after worker did something on the computer it calculated it correctly and I got my refund. They wouldn’t apologize for telling me I was wrong about getting my refund and instead were extremely passive aggressive. When I asked her to explain why they kept insisting I not get my money back her response was«so you want me to tell you, you were right? «wtf. Should hire workers that can do math and not belittle their loyal customers.

I’d like to start by writing that they have a very good return policy. However, this store is so unattractive and the front of the store is cramped. A lot of the samples have been ruined by customers and some are missing. I opened about 8YSL samples and all the brushes looked smashed. I bought a lipstick and when I got home realized that it was opened and used, perhaps that is why they have a good return policy. I know its important to have the most expensive items in the front, but I don’t appreciate buying a $ 36 lipstick that was already opened. The manager seemed to have no interest in the store or the employees. Even though I hate salespeople, I prefer to buy my cosmetics in a more controlled environment. Who wants to buy lipstick that has been touched by other hands. Sorry for making this review so long, but this store doesn’t seem consistent with a store on the north shore of Long Island.

I love sephora and tend to buy all my makeup there but the girls working here are just plain rude. they will either flat out ignore you or follow you around the store. whenever i ask for something, they act like i don’t know what i’m talking about and try to sell me something else. samples can be annoying to get as well, as they tend to take 10 minutes to actually do anything. some of them can be nice once they see your a familiar face, but if you don’t look«rich» they want you out as soon as possible.

They carry Ouidad products my daughter uses, more convenient than traveling into the city. Customer service seems a bit phony. Very well stocked and large assortment of products.

Oh Sephora. The store where many a man will groan and roll their eyes if forced to go inside. However, since I am lacking in the Y chromosome department, I am unfairly wired to like this place. I mean, you can fulfill all of your beauty needs at Sephora, but this will come at a cost. No Revlon or Cover Girl here. All brand-named products. For face care, I really love the Olé Henriksen line face washes and moisturizers. And I just got the Wild Rose scrub from Korres that my friend recommended. You can find many similar items at Ulta, but they are evenly matched in price. You will find tons of awesome make-up in every shade and color of the rainbow from top brands. I don’t really wear a whole ton of make-up(I’m a gloss and mascara kind of gal) but I love Stila, Clinique, Smashbox and Tarte and can find all of their stuff here. I also can’t leave here without spending less than $ 50. They have a ton of fragrances for both men and women. I know you can purchase a fragrance set for both men and women that includes samples and a redeemable gift certificate for a full size fragrance of your choice(from the samples) which is great if you’re not sure what you want to buy. And, the salespeople will give you a sample of anything you want, which is awesome. It just adds up quickly in price when you see items you want to buy. Plus, the staff can be hit or miss personality wise. You’ll find some snooty ‘tudes here, but also nice and genuinely helpful people as well. Avoid this place on the weekend, it gets insane and sensory overload — too many strong perfume spritzes trigger migraines and this is more likely to occur on a Saturday or Sunday when this place is maxed to capacity.

The extremely helpful salesgirl/cashier(who also had been dying her hair red for a long time too), gave me some fabulous beauty tips to keep my dry hair looking lush, after she complimented me on my «Hello Kitty» check card. She included 2 samples as part of my beauty purchase. SCORE!
